Life was not half-bad for one little yellow cub. Noki had no idea how she had come about, the manipulations that drove her whole life or what was to come in the future, and she was quite happy that way. She took no time at all to warm up to having Gharadi around, in fact the very day after his arrival and introduction she made a point of going out and hunting for some sort of welcoming gift for him. He hadn't been around from the start, she wanted to make sure she was on his good side and that he was happy- so he would always be there!
Finding such a gift, though, was the hardest part of her brilliant plan. All that she could think up in the end was to bring him some flowers, because they were not hard to find and pretty! Besides, they were better than any of the other stuff someone her age and size had access to, or so Noki figured.
So, with a mouth full of flowers, Noki bounded back towards home to find Gharadi.

Gharadi was lounging in the sun not too far from where the cubs had scurried around. He et his eyes scan around every now and then so that he could see where they would run off to. He would constantly remind them to not venture too far off because it would be dangerous, but he also didn't want them to feel confined until they got the the pridelands of the swamps, so he let them know if they wanted an adventure, they could go out together and find one as a family.
He was a father..in one way or another.
Moyo'abu was running around in circles, darting around, crouching down then jumping up trying to swat at the butterflies that flew over her head. Bright red eyes watched them flutter away, taking to the skies with their wings. Why couldn't she have wings? She wished she did.
Maybe someday her magic blue markings would give her those powers.
Blue was special adn unlike mommy or daddy, but like her blue sister, but Moyo'abu wanted to know where it had come from.
She could see her daddy, Gharadi, not too far away, and she crouched down, shifting through out he grasses set on pouncing his tail.

It wasn't long before Noki caught sight of her father, as she obediently refused to wander too far away if she was told not to, and it was when she was within visible range that she slowed down her steps to a normal walk. Her steps were springier than usual, though, for she was in a particularly cheerful mood at that moment. Out of the corner of her eye, though, she caught sight of something blue that stood out in the grass. It was hard to miss the two of her siblings that had that bright color on them! At least her and Shemshi could kind of look natural on the ground, Moyo'abu and Kichea looked like they belonged in the sky.
Unable to speak through the flowers, and unlikely to bother if she didn't have a mouthful, Noki just watched as she caught on to the fact that Moyo seemed to be sneaking up on Gharadi. Distracted, and not sure if she would ruin Moyo's game or help it, she stayed where she was to watch for the moment.

]Gharadi watched as his sight was taken by a light pelt approaching him slowly yet surely. A smile graced his features when he knew it was Noki, she was adventurous but was good with knowing rules and following them, though he hoped he was never being too strict on the cubs. He didn't want them to try and retaliate or something of that matter.
He couldn't wait to get them to he swamps, he hoped there were new cubs there to give them company and friends.
Then she stopped.
He tilted his head in question, and didn't get time to call out to her when he felt something land on his tail.
"Kiyyyyaaaaaaa!"Moyo'abu cried out in a battle type of way A grin upon her face as she landed on Gharadi's tail and began wrestling hte moving object as if to subdue it into submission to her mighty power.
Though Gharadi seemed to flick it to have it retaliate against her.
"Nuuu give up!" she poked it and chewed on it lightly, pawing at the tuft of fur at the end.

Noki bit back a laugh, accidentally taking a bite into the stems of the flowers she was carrying and making a very sour face at the taste it made in her mouth. How horrible these tasted for something so pretty! She didn't know about herbivores, but she was far from imagining anyone would actually like this awful taste. Motivated now by the potential of getting the flowers out of her mouth, she started walking again- and when she reached Gharadi and Moyo she glanced back at her sister fighting with the tail only for a second before spitting the flowers out in a very childish, unlady-like manner.
Now she allowed herself a quiet giggle, though she licked her lips a couple times to rid herself of the horrid taste, and watched Moyo and Gharadi's tail without yet explaining the flowers.

Gharadi wiggled his tail and chuckled while Moyo seemed to be in combat with the wiggling thing. His orange eyes then saw Noki, coming closer now, and he turned his eyes and attention to her though still moving his tail now and then to amuse Moyo'abu now and again.
"Noki?"
He watched her spit out the flowers and he chuckled, "Not taste very good huh?" he wondered if she was hungry at all. "What're the flowers for?"
"N-noki!" Moyo'abu called to her sister trying to wrap her paws around Gharadi's tail, her tongue sticking out of the side of her mouth as if to be say that she was concentrating and trying to hard to subdue the tail. "Help me get daddy Noki come on!" she called with a smile. "We can get him if we work together!"
She was such a tomboy.
She was just fine with that.

Noki smiled up at Gharadi and shook her head vigorously to the question about the taste of the flowers, and when Moyo called out for her help she turned back and playfully stuck her tongue out at her sister. Noki was smart enough to realize this could make her the next target, but she didn't mind playing- she just had something more immediately important on her 'to-do' list!
"I picked them for you, daddy," she said, turning back around to her flowers and daring to pick up as much as she could in her little mouth to bring them closer to Gharadi- this time getting a bit of grass in the mix with the flower stems. Beaming, she dropped them at his toes. For now, she seemed inattentive to any retaliation Moyo'abu might attempt after Noki's sticking her tongue out.

Gharadi felt his heart become warm, and he beamed with pride of little Noki, she was so kind, and such a simple gesture of bringing flowers she herself picked, through the icky-flavor Noki seemed to detest, was truly wonderful indeed. Fling his tail he leaned forward to nuzzle his head against hers, purring in his throat. Then he picked up one flower gently and placed it by her ear, "Let me share my gift with you," he said with a smile.
"There, now don't you look so beautiful?"
"She looks like she has a flower on!" Moyo said sticking her tongue out somewhat at her sister, though the comment was teasing, it was all in good fun and not meant to be hurtful at all (the tone of her voice stated that quite well). Padding over to Noki's side, Moyo'abu pawed at her sisters paws, then nudged against her, again and again, a determined look in her eyes.
Provoking her sister was so amusing.

Mission accomplished! Noki was very pleased to see that she had made Gharadi happy, and in an attempt to return the nuzzle she only headbutted against him. Fortunately, Noki's head was small and Gharadi had a mane so neither could be too hurt by the bump. She was surprised by her father's offer to share with her, but was positively thrilled at the idea. Once the flower was tucked by her ear, Noki tilted her head up to try to see it but quickly realized that it wasn't going to work- just giving Moyo enough time to get in her comment and start her nudging.
At first, Noki tried only to resist the nudging- until she was satisfied that Moyo might be getting a bit frustrated by her lack of response. She might not be a good judge of when that was, but when she decided Moyo must be getting annoyed she finally fought back- at first trying to avoid an oncoming nudge and them pounce after her hopefully confused sister.
This tactic, though, was not something Noki was well practiced with.

Gharadi smiled as Noki seemed pleased, and chuckled when she had head-butted him. Flicking his tail he lay his head on his forepaws and watched both girls. He yawned wide and watched them still, a nap sounded good, napping was fun, and enjoyable especially with so many paws smaller then his running afoot.
Sometimes it was tiresome to watch them all, though he enjoyed it very much so.
"Moyo...behave yourself alright?" he said quirking a brow at her, a kidding tone, though just serious enough to get his point across, and then closed his eyes calmly.
Moyo stuck her tongue out at Noki and scurried to her father's side and grinned while nestling next to him, smirking at Noki, "Yes daddy," she said purring, enjoying having her daddy to hersef
Moyo yawned as well when she saw Gharadi yawn, and closed her eyes though patting the ground beside her to have Noki stay close.
She may pick on her sister, but Moyo'abu loved her so.

Noki's poorly aimed pounce landed her on the ground with an 'oof!' It also earned Moyo a playful glare. Of course Moyo would get away, Noki knew she'd have to work on her offensive tactics. With as many siblings as she had, that wouldn't be hard. It couldn't be too difficult to provoke one of them into a play fight.
She was pleased with one result of their little "fight" - Moyo was the only one who got told to behave, even if it was only joking. Yawns were very contagious, and when daddy yawned, Moyo yawned. When Moyo yawned, Noki couldn't hold back a yawn despite her very best efforts. As much as she might have wanted to fight a nap, daddy and Moyo looked far too comfortable to pass up.
With a small smile, Noki got up from where she landed after her pounce- and aimed a fresh pounce at her sister. Landing somewhere in the muddle of fur between her sister and father, she wriggled around until she was comfortable- though she was still half on top of Moyo.
(Hope you don't mind that last bit XD; They're laying down, not going to fight her much are they? haha)

Gharadi smiled as he watched Moyo and Noki together, is was great that there were so many siblings, they would never be bored, and would always be able to have some fun. Flicking his tail he watched as the yawning became contagious and spread through them all, and his eyes flickered. "How about hide and seek after a nap hmm?"
He closed his eyes, feeling Noki and Moyo close and let slumber fall over him, hough he was a light sleeper, and if anything came near, he'd protect them no doubt.
They were his family.
Moyo nudged Noki but only slightly in a playful manner so that Noki wasn't laying on top of her, but more beside her. She smiled, adn nodded, yawned, with a little squeak, and curled next to Noki, letting her tail fall on her sisters.
Moyo dreamed of playful days, and f her and her sister, together forever, they would truly always be so close, and Moyo'abu would never let anyone take her family away.

Noki squeaked defiantly against her sister's nudging against her to move her off of her comfortable partial-perch. However, the passive cub did not fight back and squirmed into a comfortable position between Moyo and daddy, and there she drifted off to a happy, peaceful sleep.
