I play violin and cello....I've been playing cello for about 7 months now ....but I've played violin for 6 years and just caught on to cello quickly.... sweatdrop

This lady had a cello lying around in her basement and she didn't want to sell it, so she gave it to meh wahmbulance

nop =(. Just guitar and bass on my own. Not very good, but I can play Enter Sandman on Rythmic and Neron, from Tierra Santa in Rythmic as well

I play violin, and I'm learning the cello, but the transition to bass clef from treble clef is really hard. Anyone know any tricks for it?

Knowing the way they fit together with middle C between them helps a little.
and don't think so much about the notes, learn where the open strings are and the fingerings on them, it's easier than worrying about what note you're playing, or learning to transpose 3rds in your head.
And when you get good at the cello, you have another clef to learn!

My friend - I hope I can call him my friend - told me that he played for in third grade, but quit because the fingering is annoying.
But I'm getting around to learning the cello. My parents promised me sometime. All I play now is acoustic guitar, and I still suck.

I've been playing the Cello
For about 2 years
Im in my schools Intermiadete Ochestra
I also play Bass,Guitar
Piano and kinda learning the viola

I play cello for about 7 years.
I also learned piano 9 years long.
But now I get singing lessons instead.
With my cello "lilium" i play in the orchestra of our music school and in several ensembles =)
I love my cello! <3
