The rooftop was a dusty area but most people come hear because it just seemed so soothing, relaxing. It was just a normal one that you would see in a normal city. Selene shifted her sapphire gaze toward the artificial and blinking lights of LA. She lowered her deep set eyes, comforting her tender face onto her knees. She wrapped her slender arms lightly around them. The black lace around her body gave such a stunning contrast around her pale body. The consuming twilight was overcome by a few stars, most of them being blocked of by unwanted clouds. She really hated the fact that in a place like this, you can never get anything from nature at all. She stood up as she walked over the edge of the rooftop, careful not to come too close. This wasn't just exactly hers because anyone can come here anytime they want. She stared at the small ant-like cars and people that roamed around without a care in the world. The light footsteps she made were barely heard, due to all the noise. Her beautiful eyes slanted into a glare as she swayed her honey waterfall hair to walk close to the door, coming back into her own room. She moved so swiftly and gracefully that it just seemed like she was dancing elegantly in a ballroom.
"...Hm?"
She felt a presence coming toward the area, toward that door. She stepped back lightly staring blankly at the rough door. Her serene face broke into a slight smile as a vampire like her walked through the door. Maybe she could just stay here out on the rooftop for some company. She opened her small mouth to speak as a gentle voice, almost sounding like a soothing violin escaped it.
"Hello."

Solomon leapt from rooftop to roof top. He needed a break from the weird events of the city that had taken place recently. He stopped as he saw a woman on one the rooftops. He curled his nose slightly as her smell identified her as a vampire. His curiosity got the better of him though, he stuck his hands in his jacket pocket and wandered over to the woman and said
" Hello...."

She smiled slightly, keeping her arms calmly on the side, her sapphire eyes seeming to turn more into cold stones secretly having a spark of interest of having someone here.
"What, may I ask, are you doing here?"

He shrugged...he coudln't tell why he was really leaping around roof tops , so when in doubt, lie.
" Just...taking in the sights of the city...you know."
A faint smirk crossed his lips as his golden eyes shone in the reflection of the city lights. He took out a small silver flask and took a drink before saying.
" May I ask what a leech like you is doing in a place like this?"

Her sapphire eyes flickered against the pale moonlight as she hid her hands behind her back, a habit of hers. She didn't seem quite offended of the word "leech" in her calm state. Frankly, no threat seemed to affect her at all.
"I suppose the same thing... And just.. Thinking. I was about to leave anyway."
Her mind whirled to her past as she shook her head as if, it can make it disappear. She just wished every memory she had would disappear out of her head. She shifted her gaze toward the doorknob behind him.

Solomon was slightly impressed by the fact by the fact she didn't fall for the leech bait...every other vampire he had ever met had. Also,he could smell a mix of emotions radiating from her . This one intrigued him....assuming she wouldn't try and kill him.
He held out the flask to her as she looked towards the doorknob " Drink?"

She stared at the flask he held. She never really drunk anything only on special occasions or she has been in a bad and miserable mood. She shook her head slightly, knowing that this creature had no intention of letting her leave.
"No, thank you. I'm not in the mood."
She turned around and gazed out onto the city streets.

He took one last drink before capping the flask. He sat down on the edge of the roof, looking out into the city. He then turned to her and said "Your new around here...So what brings you to LA leech?" he asked, as his eyes roamed the rest of the roof top.

She shrugged her slender shoulders, knowing what he has stated but seemed to be too deep in thought to actually look like she was paying attention. As a young human, centuries ago, she was the rich kind of family who live luxurious life, without having a care in the world. They had everything from fortune to entertainment. Their house stood in a sparse area where only a few houses were built and she owned many acres of land. She lived in a mansion as you would say. Now the mansion from a long time ago has been left in deserted ruins. Turned to ashes ever since things turned complex.
"I suppose, I just wanted to... start a new life somewhere else."
She hesitated before she said 'life'. A leech like her has no life. She's just a talking zombie who live on the blood of real life. She resisted the pain but somehow a light tear formed in her eyes as it melted slowly down the city. It dispersed onto the dark streets.

A grim smirk came across his face, as he heard the woman speak." A new life...isn't that what we all want in the end....to be in a life that isn't are own."
The scent of her pain radiated into his nostrils...it was intoxicating, but after the amount of time he had been alive..he knew better. Especially with a vampire as old as her,he knew better than to ever trust a leech too much. The next words came out of his mouth before he could stop himself.
"You remind me of someone....I met a long time ago...she was just as sad...and just as foolish..."

She shifted her gaze back at the male, her blue innocence turning into a piercing gaze. The word 'foolish' did somehow affect her. She disliked the fact that people actually call others foolish. She calmed herself and sighed softly.
"Everyone has been foolish in their life... I doubt that you have never been foolish."

He smirked and fiddled with the wooden trinket that hung on a leather bad around his neck. He then said " People think i am...because I smirk and poke fun, never seem to take things seriously....but there's a different kind of foolish....a belief that something new can make make past pains go away....and I've only been that kind of foolish once." He kept a grin on his face but his eyes momentarily filled with pain. He looked out to the city, and the pain vanished from his eyes...like a flash of lightning.

She shook her head quietly. She didn't want to argue because she knew for a fact that it was true. She stayed quiet, not knowing what to say. She was never the one to strike up a good conversation but she was in fact a good listener.

"mmm I've apparently struck up a rooftop conversation..with worlds only vampire mime....wow...." he said laughing.
He took out the flask from within his jacket pocket and took another drink.
