Luc's Home

Welcome to Lucas Kain's home, where one on one practice matches are quite encouraged. On one of the back streets of the main town, there is an open field with a small wooden shack on the far side of the field. The field is full of weeds and there are spots of burned grass and colorfully stained weeds. Next to the shack is a large old willow tree. The tree looks so old that at any moment it could fall on the shack and destroy it. On the door of the old shack there is a note that reads "Gone Fishing! (I go fishing a lot at bassken lake - demonic - look for zazzy_wazzy's room if you want to join me)

Rules:
1. Please post your stats including your equipment's bonuses (preferrably in a different color) at the beginning of the match.
2. One battle at a time please. You can post here (in character please) as much as you want, but it would be too hard to manage more than one battle at a time, so please wait your turn.
3. Please don't use consumable items. Equipment is fine, and anything that doesn't disappear after use is great, but I'm not a DM, and I'm not up to trying to keep track of those things.
4. All guild rules apply. In other words keep it clean.

Luc his shed, as he see's a mysterious looking man walk onts over to him, and says. "Hi there. Welcome to my home. I use this field all the ti skills, so what brings you here?"

"Hmm... Well, You can take my gold, and my items. I don't really mind I don't have much, but I'd rather keep them if I have anything to say about it." Luc runs up to his foe Luc shoots a ray of frost at him, and jabbs at him with his dagger.

Luc and Talos Lunge at each other simultaniously jabbing their daggers into each other. Luc's spell hits Talos for 3 hp, and his attack does 4 damage equaling 7, but Talos' powerful attack hits Luc and almost knocks him unconciense dealing 20 damage.

Luc still on the ground from Talos' beating looks at him with a bewildered confusion. "I... Um... Well, I guess there IS a good side to being poor. Boy is it good to finally meet someone who isn't all happy and cheerful all the time. This town is so upbeat it gives me the shivers. I'm used to being abused all my life, and when I came to this town all I got was optimism. It rubs off on you I guess. Anyway. I would enjoy plundering with you sometime. You can probably come find me in the Tavern I hang out in there a lot. My name's Lucas Kain by the way, and I hope to start studying the art of necromancy, so to me grave robbing sounds quite fun."

Bewilderd at the fact that the person he was just having a conversation with just vanished before his eyes, Luc decides that he must be seeing things, and should go get some rest.

Luc looks up from his house. "Ah it's you Gerbo!" Luc sets down the paint he was using to paint his house, and walks over to Gerbo. "Actually I haven't really had any magical duals here yet. Just one fight with Talos Kintsei... I tried to use magic on him, but the first round just doesn't work out for a mage going against a fighter. As for the blotches of color on my lawn, that was from me training by myself. Ok, I'll stop babbling, and accept your challenge. Bring it on!"

(Go ahead and start. As for the dice, I don't know if you want to trust me, or just roll your own or whatever. I trust you not to lie, and I will do the same. Whatever you decide.)

Luc casts his Lesser Mana Shield as he runs at the cloud of mist flailing his dagger around, hoping he'll hit the small target inside.

(I saw your present, but it said that it was canceled for some reason. And yes pay it forward is a good movie. I guess I'll go ahead and post the results, but I'm not too great at this so feel free to correct my mistakes. Oh and sorry about the wait, I had to go pick up my mom from school... yes backwards I know.)

Gerbo's mist hits Luc in the chest, dealing a painful 7 damage, Luc's defense takes away 1 and 3 from the mana shield leaving 3 damage. As Luc charges blindly into the cloud of mist his dagger barely skims the tip of Gerbo's nose. Attack = 6 - 3 for defense roll, and - 2 for mist = 1

As Luc turns around he starts charging his magic power for the next round and takes up a defensive position.
