All creatures will have to block the basilisk. Since familiar ground makes that impossible your opponent just gets to pick the one creature. However he can't chose not to block and must block it with just one creature every time it attatcks.

That's one problem with magic sometimes. Sometimes the answer is so simple everyone fails to see it. sweatdrop I know it's happened to me more then once.

Exactly what you would expect to happen. Wirefly hive will destroy all wireflies. Only now they've got 'darksteel' over them they just look around at each other and go "What was that noise?" "Did you hear that?" "yeah loud" But they'll live through it and still be able to attack and block as if nothing happened.

Yeah. Too many judges are so 'by the books' and don't explain things with any fun. That's why I like John Carter the guy who does Saturday School on magicthegathering.com now. He's more weird about how he answers rules questions then the other guy.

Nope. Being a DCI judge isn't really a job. You do get the special promo "Judge Foils" every now and then depending on how many events you judged.

Heres a stupid question... ninja
I have marrow-gnawer, 4 other rats, and Coat of arms in play.
I use marrows ability to sac. a rat to put 4 1/1 black rat tokens into play...
Does coat of arms affect and take into account the rat tokens as well as the other rats? (Give all rats +7/+7 or just +3/+3)
And heres a question within a question... ninja
Could marrow sac. the tokens, and continue to sac. the tokens, each turn to mass a rat army that gets boosted through Coat of Arms?

Short answer. Yes. To both. Long answer. Once you sacrifice the one rat to put out 4 that'll be 7 rats in play. Each rat will get +6/+6 from the coat of arms. Each turn you can continue to make your 'rat army' grow and continue to get bigger +/+ each turn from the coat. EXTRA Add Intruder Alarm to marrow gnawer and oh look infinite rats eek
