((Note that I rolled a 2 on a four sided dice like...two posts below because I'm an idiot and rolled a six sided dice here sweatdrop ))
The screen towering above the stadiums' bleachers began to rotate clockwise to determine what field the pokemon would fight on. Anticipation began to build as the dial began to slow down...
Finally, it came to a complete stop.
The field of choice was....THE ICE FIELD! The temperature of the stadium suddenly dropped several degrees (just enough so breath was visual and winter-wear is needed) as the stadium floor shifted for the upcoming battle. The floor was made of extremely slick ice, which would make manuverablity, even simply standing, difficult. Crystal-like pillars reached skyward from the frozen water, reflecting the florescent lights to all sides of the battle-field.

Luna cursed as she saw the battleground randomizer land on the ice field...AGAIN! But, thankfully, she had just ordered a nice stick with a pointed metal edge and some rubber, easy to slide boots so she could almost slide around with the help of her stick. She hoisted herself onto a pillar and waved to her opponent.
"This will be a one on one casual battle, first pokemon to be knocked out loses. Is that okay?" She asked, reaching to her leg strap and unclipping a pokeball. She pressed the white center button and enlarged it. A red beam of light shot out and Albireo landed happily on the ice arena floor.
Albireo looked around his surroundings. YES! Not grass! He slid around happilyon the arena, enjoying his time on the ice as much as possible before he had to battle. Uh-oh...Albireo should really stay away from those large rocky pillars...

This time Jenette had been a little smarter and grabbed a coat and some fuzzy boots, but her poor vukpix was hating this arena more and more. "Come on out Venna! Let's show them what we can do!" She said tossing the pokeball out. The beem formed a small fox pokemon who slipped on the ice the second she touched it. Placing the ball back on her belt Jenette sighed, hopefully they could win this one...
Venna growled as she tried to stablize herself on the ice. Stupid ice... it was just frozen water. She hated water... Why couldn't they have gotten a fire field? That is... if they had a fire field. Looking up to Jenette with a proud gaze she smirked somewhat. She wasn't going to let losing get in the way.

"Venna! Drop your tails again!!" Jenette cried. The last time these two had fought on the ice field, Venna almost got burnt. But they figured out all those tails helped her balance. "Now let's warm this place up with a Fire Spin!!" She called down to her foxen friend.
Remembering the advantage of her tails she dropped them and immediately felt more steady. Nodding she opened her mouth, "VULLLL... PIXX!" Soon a spinning vortex of fire was blazing towards the seel.

"Watch out for the horn Venna!" Jenette called, knowing the Seel had an advantage on this ice. "Try and maneuver out of the way then give him a Quic Attack!"
Venna couldn't move quite as well as the seel, and got rammed in the back left leg. That was going to leave a mark... Sitting on the ice for a moment, as it nummed the small inflicted pain. Now laying on her belly she let her tails be her propellers to get her to a pillar where she pushed off and soon was gaining momentum to hit her target.

"Albireo, follow up that attack with Aqua Tail!"
Albireo barked and winced as Venna rammed into his side. An instant afterwards, he crushed his tail, now glowing blue, as hard as he could right at the vulpix that hit him..

Jenette saw the attack land and she cheered on her vulpix. she was doing so well this time! "Great hit Venna!" She was about to give the new attack when she saw the hit land on Venna. "It's ok darling! Way to take one for the team! Give that seel a nice flamethrower!!" She hollered
Venna crashed into her target and soon was sent sliding after being hit with that attack. Slowly down she shook the dizzyness from her sight and balanced herself then opened her mouth. "VUL... PIX!" And a firey string was on it's way across the arena to hit that seel.

"COMMON ALBIREO! LET'S BREAK THROUGH IT AGAIN!" Luna shouted.
Albireo barked and charged headfirst through the flamethrower to recklessly headbutt the vulpix. Patches of its fur were now burned, and there were slight first degree burns on its skin, but it continued onwards towards the vulpix whose flamethrower attack had now been broken through.

"Venna! Here comes that horn again! Try to dodge it!" She shouted down, watching the seel slip over the ice easily.
Venna tried to push out of the way but slipped and got hit right in her belly. "Vul!" She whimpered as she slid back a little.
"Are you alright V!?" Jenette called out. With a nod in return she smiled. "Alright you punky little fox you, give that seel an ember!"
Venna smirked and shot a blast of fire to the seel.

"Break through again!" Luna shouted.
And Albireo did just that, charging into the vulpix again and enduring the flames. The poor seel had more charred fur and small second degree burns, near fainting yet going strong.
