Audric's first week at Ouran, and a real school, had been tough. Tough meaning long, busy, stressfully, LONG, everything like that. But what better way to blow off stream then to take a trip off-campus? Audric hadn't had any time during the week to explore the stores skattered around the school. All he'd been lucky to see were books, the computer, and classrooms.
So Audric threw off his school uniform for some comfortable hang-out clothes, grabbed his wallet, and was out the door in 30 seconds. It didn't even matter that Audric had no idea where he was going. He knew where the gate leading out of the school was, and that was all that mattered!
All around the campus, students were chatting it up with friends and hanging out. Not to mention they were flooding out the gate like fish! Seems that Audric wasn't the only one with this idea.

Audric was not the only person new to Ouran. Seraph herself had only spent a couple of days there, as her own family had moved to the vicinity due to work. She had attended private school before, but surely not one has prestigious as Ouran. The work was a bit harder, a little more painful to do as it cut into her readings), but it was manageable. Her thin fingers played with her red locks as her other hand pulled her choolbag over her shoulder and began to head out. She did not bring a change of clothes to school outside of necessities (socks, gym uniform, swim uniform). She did not know if that was fine or not, but it seemed normal to her.
Stepping outside of the school, the flow of students leaving was predictable. Not many opted to stay when break was starting. Why would they? But many had changed into more casuel clothes... She swallowed hard and continued to walk towards the gate, her one hand holding the bag, the other playing with the end of her skirt, her back slouched a bit as she did so. It kept flipping up in the back! It needed to be ironed badly.
Hopefully it would stay down. After pushing it down in the back, she tried to collect her poise and continue walking out. She didn't have a driver to pick her up from school; her home wasn't far from here.
But why go home? She was quite hungry...

As he trugged through the maze of busling streets, Audric began to notice some sutle differences between this new country and his old home back in France. The part of France Audric was lucky enough to make residence in was mainly a theatrical town. Most store products were centered around costumes, play books, and other items of that nature. A normal outting for him might consist of a quick trip to the open market for a snack, followed by a couple hours of watching performers practice their act from the windows of some stores.
Here, most stores sold little trinkets-like items such as bunny keychains or pretty bookmarks. All of which are incredibly well-made and expensive. Not that Audric didn't like these products pre say, but it would take some time to become familiar with all of the surroundings. But the year had just begun!
Mid-step, Audric's stomach let out a suprise yelp. Glancing around, Audric simply smiled and laughed at himself as a few bystanders shot him some strange looks. Guess that granola bar's all gone! Audric thought to himself. Lucky for him, there was a cafe not even a block away. With a slight hop to his step, Audric strolled to the large door of the cafe and walzed in.

Seraph found that fact that she barely new where the nearest cafe operated was very discerning. A frown marred her lips as she walked, the empty feeling in her stomach growing by the second. She was afrid it would start growling... That was so unladylike! She couldn't help but chuckle nervously a the thought and hurried up in her step, glancing around.
After walking for a bit, she realized that it would have been better to just walk home. But... She was a tad tired of all the picturesque cakes and breads stereotypically found in a baker's food storage. She glanced sideways off at a store display, almost stopping in step. They were showing off bags, a particular gold and blue one caught her attention. 'Perhaps I could bother my allowance... No no.' She thought, knowing well enough that such a purse could wait, and that food was her first priority.
Up ahead, she caught sight of someone vaguely looking... A student from Ouran? Oh well, any student would do. Most kids went off to eat afterschool, right? So that had to be a cafe! She reached for the hadle shortly after the boy before it shut, and with her free hand tossed her long red locks over one shoulder and starightened her back (though it was as straight as a hairpin). Ever since her parents had hit it big, it had become habit for her to reassess her appearance before anything.
Stepping in, she almost let out an exaggerated sigh of relief. 'Something to eat. Finally...'

After entering the cafe, Audric scanned the area for a place to sit. However, this was a nearly impossible task. The cafe was packed to the brim with people occupying all the seats. One group could barely squeeze into their booth on the far side. I'm definitely not the only one with this idea... Audric thought, while furrowing his brow. Even more to his surpise, Audric found himself at the end of a decent sized line that was apparently where you stood if you wanted to sit. Audric would need play the right cards so he could snag a seat without waiting too long; any longer and it would be dinner time!
Looking around, Audric began to search possibly for someone else to sit with. Surely he would be seated more quickly if he were in a group. Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted something yellow and puffy. The girl's uniform at Ouran! Not that Audric was too familar with them, but there's no way anyone could miss them.
"Hey! 'Sup?" Audric asked in a chirpy voice.

This place was crammed. They would be serious competition for her parents bakery. Not that they were all too scared. The interior here was a little all too cliche. The line was long, so she would use the time to look over possible competition. It was quite a boring topic of thought really. Seraph found herself within moments thinking of different things. Like how nobody else was wearing a school uniform ad there she was, a yellow oddity.
Someone's cheery voice broke past her thoughts, though she doubted they were talking to her. However curiously she glanced out of the corner of her eye to the source of the voice, a boy with glasses. He was looking at her, talking to her. She turned her attention to the boy, brows raised. She pointed to her chest in question, before cracking a small, sheepish smile, "Umm, me? Doing what you and everyon else is doing," she made a gesture to the long line, "Waiting for something to eat." Seraph said casually with a light tone, though she thought it was quite obvious. What alse was "up"?

"Ah yea, not much fun huh?" Audric replied back casually with an undertone of a laugh. He suddenly felt very silly for asking a question when the answer was so obvious. "You ever been here before?" He asked. This was only the first food establishment he'd seen, so it was logically the first choice to check out. But now he wasn't so sure. For all Audric knew, he'd wait in line for forever and then the food would be no good. But hey, it was better than eating a bag of chips or some candy bars; which happened to be all Audric had left in his room at the moment.
Taking a moment to peek around the person infront of him, Audric happily saw he was a mere three people away from being seated.
