This tavern is a three story tower. The first and second stories have tables and bars for costumers. Torches lit with cold flame line the walls and keep the place well lit. People on these two stories are happy and cheerful with wine and beer. Many are playing dice games and card games with large pots. On the third floor is the owners apartment that is well furnished and has many valuables.

Julius entered the tavern and looked around the room for a few minutes. The bar tender waved a bit, "Hey Julius you want your usual."
The admiral nodded in affirmation and held up a hand, "Make that two, one for the lad here. Have you seen Dariel here tonight?" He couldn't think of anyone who would get him the supplies sooner than Dariel could.
"Aye he's on the second story in his ussual seat. I'll send one of the lasses up with your drinks." Julius nodded and motioned for Ron to follow up the stairs to meat with the supplier. When he arrived upstairs he paused for a second and moved toward a corner where a dark figure sat with a drink talking to himself with a hood drawn over his face hiding his facial features.
"Hello Dariel we need to talk. I need some things." Julius sat down and motioned for ron to do the same.

Ron slid into the chair indicated by the admiral. The bar wasn't really seedy, but it wasn't very high-class, either. And yet, the admiral had a "usual" here? He found it somewhat odd, but he couldn't worry about that right now. He focused his attention on listening to the man across the table. He discreetly put his hand on his gun inside his tunic. No sense in being careless, right?

A waitress came over to the table and put two pints of ginger beer. It wasn't alcoholic because the admiral didn't get drunk a lot and needed to be sober that night. "And what might you be looking for?" Dariel sounded calm and relaxed with a hint of English ib his tongue.
Julius pulled out a list and pushed it across the table to the figure, "Not much really just a few parts for our engines." Julius kept his eyes on the hooded figures head and took a swig from his pint. "And take your hood off. I don't like not seeing where your eyes are looking. The figure removed his hood and revealed his dark ebony skin and seemingly pupiless eyes that were as white as his hair and then read the list.

Ron coughed on his ginger beer when the man pulled back his hood. If his gun's safety hadn't been on, he would have shot himself.
If the man was unnerving while hooded, he was now terrifying without it. Ron tried to gain his composure, and used the hand not clutching his gun for dear life to wipe up the mess.
He croaked out, "Sorry. Went down the wrong pipe."

Julius laughed a bit. "It's alright boy, it's not everyday you get to see a shade." Julius kept his eyes trained on Dariel as he read the list, "So do you know where we can find it all without too much trouble."
Dariel scratched his chin ignoring Ron's reaction, "Well a pirate ship just pulled into port the other day that has similar engines to your's. They would have most of these parts on board but I don't know." A sly grin came across Dariel's face.
"What do you mean you don't know? You always know." Julius' face became skeptical. He took a quick swig from his ginger beer that included about half of it.
"It's just that your so old now that it might be difficult." Dariel's smile became even wider revealing his near perfect teeth.
"We'll see whose old you child. After we finish our drinks." Julius' face looked determined. He hated being put down for his age and now was determined to prove the shade across from him wrong.
"That we will."

Ronald took a small sip from his own glass and glanced back and forth between his admiral and the shade.
He had a feeling that he wouldn't see his admiral in the same light after tonight.
He sat there, waiting for the other men to finish their drinks. He was feeling a bit uncomfortable with the shade. He couldn't tell whether or not the shade was looking at him. The lack of pupils in the shade's eyes made it impossible to tell exactly what direction they were pointed in.
Ron was incredibly self-conscious for the entire time he was with the shade.

Julius emptied his pint and slammed the tankard on the table standing up, "Alright lad let's go." He pulled his cloak up and and moved for the door. Damn shade thinks he can best me. I'll show his racial supremacy.

The admiral seemed a bit angry, which was out of character for him. Ron didn't hesitate to stand up and follow him.
"Where are we headed, Julius?" he whispered to the admiral, trying to not be overheard by any of the less than friendly fellow patrons.

"The air port. That ship with our parts on it is at the air port and we're gonna find it." Luckily he knew which ship it would be. He had caught sight of it when they had pulled in and now he was going to give it a small visit no matter how many pirates were on board.

Merei sat in her room, perfectly content with herself at the current moment. For as far as she knew everything was going flawlessly within the tavern. People were receiving their drinks and gambling as their hearts desired, and as long as everything was going okay she would feel serene, calm, an- Wait... what was that? The sound of gunshots? No! No one would be foolish enough to shoot someone in her tavern. She had rules, and as far as she was concerned no one was going to break those rules.
Quickly getting up from her seat, Merei rushed towards the door leading downstairs before she heard the sound once again. It was obviously not coming from within the building. Instead, it seemed to be resonating from outside. What now? She questioned herself confused as she hurried over to the window and peered out of it. Her green eyes widened at the sight of what her eyes were revealing to her. There was a full fledged battle in the street, a battle in front of her tavern. They better not enter it. If they did... Oh they would be asking for it.
Now irritated, Merei rushed down the stairs and out of the door, going into the streets.

Hurrying into the tavern, Merei looked about nervously considering two pirates were behind her. Though thankfully for her the navy members that were in there seemed far to drunk or consumed with their gambling addiction to even notice that a nearly fatally wounded pirate had entered their mist. Ah well, it was a good thing for her right?
"We're going to my floor." Merei explained the the boy who was carrying the wounded pirate as she made her way up the stairs. "Name's Merei by-the-way."

Rab's jaw practically dropped when he saw the large gathering of Navy curs. From the frying pan to the fire... he thought. "Right, lead the way," he whispered, then as they went up the stairs he said, "Me name is Rab. Mah friend here's name be William." As they went he shoved his now empty pistol back into his sash.
