So after my last announcement, I've only gotten four (4) replies. This guild has 976 members as of this announcement. Minus me (975) and the four whom have already claimed thier 1,000 gold prize (to be paid in full once all ten spots are claimed...) There are sill 971 of you who still have a chance for an easy thousand gold!
Anywho here are some facts that you need to know. Come to realize that 'yes' these are all true.
•There will be NO book four. Avatar is over and done! Accomplished. Completed. Concluded. Ended. Exhausted. Finished. Finneto. Past. Settled. Spent. Through. Unalterable. Unchangeable.
•The avatar movies in theaters (2010) will NOT be continuations of the series. They will be a "very faithful retelling with some minor plots."
•We may never know what happened to Ursa.
•Avatar will air every episode in order very soon. I will be on top of finding out when exactally.
•Aang can now "spirit bend" Which means that he can do the whole "BAM I JACKED YOUR FIRE!!!" thing whenever he wants.
•A new Avatar MMORPG will be coming out "soon", presumably like World of Warcraft or Everquest.

There it went. Avatar is done. I hate to see it end, but i'm so glad that they did such an amasing job with the finale. If you have not seen the finale than i sudgest avoiding all topics for spoiler alerts, as they are officially not spoilers.
I hate to say it but this will probally be the peak of this guild. With no more avatar to look forward to, the guilds activity will be hit hard. If your willing to stick with the rest of us than I greatly appriciate it.
On business news, i'm offering 1K for excellent banners made from the finale.
I WILL GIVE THE FIRST PERSON TO GET ME A PICTURE OF AANG IN THE AVATAR STATE WITH ALL THE ELEMENTS SURROUNDING HIM 10K! PM ME!!!
Thats 10,000 for all you math majors out there. Considering how no one reads these it will probally take a while but hey thats why i do these things.
Anywho. I've moved the rest of the new episode discussions back to the subfourm and have left the finale topic as the other announcement. PLEASE keep as much of the discussion there.

OK so I just updated litterly yesterday but i'm so excited that i need to vent my gitters out.
Episode 3.12 aired on american nickelodeon today so we no longer need to post spoilers in white for that episode.
I am really excited to see so many people using the introduction topic! Horray for introductions!
Only five days untill the comet comes! I cant wait.
Also on a more personal note, my computers version of WordPad has mysteriously uninstalled itself, and now my documents have nothing to open in. Anyone know where i can get some free software that would help me out?

Well maybe i'll open up a grieving topic later, because this is a happy update.
Even though its been several months since my last update. I havent completly forgotten about you tards! (Avatards that is!) I know I know I'll update later with more sorrofilled appologies! BUT I have to get down to business.
I have moved the episode discussions for episodes 3.12 - 4.21 to the main fourm as announcements. Discuss the episodes there!!! Normal topics poping up in the next week will all be locked if they are about the episodes and dont have specific points to them. MmmKay?
There are two new stickies in the main fourm, and one new announcement in the episode discussion. The new stickies in the main fourm are the Introduction and Photo Album topics. I feel like our members should get to know eachother a little more! So if you've been here since the beginning or a day, take two minutes to introduce youself. Also you can now post pictures of youself in the photo album topic. If you dont feel confortable than dont, if you do, than do. Keep it PG, and cover up dammit. Who knows, maybe we could get a sign chain going! Because those are FUN.
The new announcement in the episoide discussion is plain and simple a directory of the official episode discussions. WITH LINKS!!!

I changed the guild from a hidden guild, to a private one. I cant even remember my reasoning for making it a hidden guild. I suppose i just like mysteries!

Ello! Well its been quite some time since the last update, and its a quite sad that the thefirst update of the new year is in march, but bare with me. Time is scarce and i'm giving it my all to balance my life out at the moment. I also got addicted to role playing in a naruto guild so that can be quite the blame of it as well. But lets get to the news shall we.
First off I'd like to say that in January this year my computer crashed. And with it, went all of my rough drafts I've done with the role play system. I've been working my a** off trying to remember as much as possible from scratch but its going rough. Also to clear out some of the destractions I've renamed the subfourms that you cant see simply 'crew only.' I renamed them since i feel like the open subfourms arnt being used much. So yeah.
Second I want everyone to look out for a new update soon, since I'm going to personally set up a basic independent roleplay. Nothing like the official will be but just something capable of using till than. I have not given up on this guilds main roleplay but it is indeed proving difficult. I'll be sure to let everyone know when that roleplay is available. I'd definitely look out for in within the next week. If not, than spring break will give me plenty of time to work on it.
Thirdly, I feel incredibly embarrassed and horrible at the same time. For the longest time, on the guilds front page it clamed it was 'The largest avatar guild on gaia.' Well on the search engin typing in 'Avatar The last airbender' would put my guild on the top. Well after some browsing I descoved that 'The Official Avatar the last airbender guild' was indeed larger, member wise. While my guild may have been the FIRST avatar the last airbender guild, at some point ' The Official Avatar the Last airbender guild' passed us number wise. So yeah.
Um...O yes. Something that has been asked over and over again lately is about the avatar hiatus. Avatar is not through and the reason there arnt any new episodes on lately is NOT because of the writers strike. The writers strike only effected shows written buy the Writers Guild Of America, which avatar is not. Avatar is most likely already complete, and waiting on a jump drive somewhere. The season was split like this last year but I can see most cant recall that. The nickelodeon network promised us 10 new episodes from season 3. Than they went on a break that was completely up to them. With the avatar movie being in production and everything, they need a way for the show to remain fresh, popular, and most importantly; Addictive. If the show were to release all of season 3 one after another the entire show would be over already and we would have nothing to look forward to. Boo who.

The "independent role play" subfourm has been added, due to popular request. If you feel like impressing me and organizing a smaller scale RP than that is the place to do it! Heres the main post incase your to lazy!

Well after a whole week or so, I've decided that only one new crew will be appointed today. Since the guild is entering its dark era again were going to need some more help keeping it up. SO without further stalling for time...PrettySweet05 has been appointed! Take a minute to congradulate her and now her word is law. Remember that.

So it just occured to me that our 10 episode verbal contract is up with nick. Thats it! No more new episodes untill who knows when! Who knows how long the hiatus will be this time! Anyways, I'd like to thank you all in advance for bearing with me durring the down time. In the off seasons the guild quiets down but I hope not this time.
Also it occured to me that if all membrs start reletivly low benders, that I should make somewhere else for you to play out a higher level bender that doesnt interfer with the build up character.
SO!!!
Question: Would you, the members of the guild like TWO new subfourms to roleplay in that dont affect the main roleplay in?
The first would be all battles between members, where one person can battle as many people at once as they wish, all in different topics. You can create a character up to level 10 here and fight like its nothing else...Once the roleplay system is up of course.
The second would be the event subfourm. Here, I'll let you all participate in events that occur in the show that would be fun and interesting to act out. For instance, the drill battle. Where only earth and fire go at it! Or the seige of the north, fire nation invasion, various warground battles, and for fire sodiers; village takeovers. All which dont have to follow the events that the show has given us. Maybe at the battle of omashu, earth can hold off the firenation and it isnt taken over! Its all up to you.

Thats to user: undead-waffles and the folks at Watch-avatar.com We are now able to watch the next instalments of the series. The united states will be airing episode 09 this coming friday and thus the United Kingdom is already two ahead. Watch if you dare. Keep spoilers white untill airing dates.

For those who have not heard, the united kingdom has scheduled to release two brand new episodes of avatar per day this week. As I am writing this episodes 7-9 have already aired in the united kingdom, and are already online. Although my excitement was grand at first, I now dislike what they have done. For those of you who watch these episodes online, please note that the next three weeks will dwell in excitement past. I strongly recommend watching them airing night, to keep the rating up.
Just choose wisely before watching ahead.
Also be warned!!! This guild will only follow the schedule that nick has prepared. Thusly, any topics created in the main forum with spoilers about these episodes will be removed. Mods take action immediately under my orders. Any discussion about the episodes should refer back to the discussion sub forum and stay there until airing night.

Today was a major update for the guild. First off would be this thread. After seeing the last thread fail I've decided to update this first post with current news, and let the members discuss them in the rest of the thread.
Next would be the front page. I've put the first model of the new cover and would like some feedback. I know its not great but tell me here what i should add or take out!
There is a new system for the episode discussion sub. Basically the week before the new episode airs, our main discussion will be an announcement in the main thread. As well as the previous episode will be kept the week after until the new episode airs. Than the episodes switch out.
So using this week as an example, the episode that just aired (sokkas master) and next Fridays episode (the beach) will both be announcements until next Friday when the beach airs. At which time sokkas master will move back to the episode discussion sub and the next week episode will be added. This way, we can talk about the new episode and discuss the ones that aired.
Birthdays have been updated.
The following topics have all been moved to the Archive sub.
