~The Rules~ Alright the rules are simple. One competitor at a time please. If I'm currently engaged in combat with another player, please wait your turn. Feel free to make your challenge known within one of the General RP threads, within that Subforum.
Second, no use of consumable items. Meaning no potions, tokens, charges, or anything that is potentially lost or destroyed; I'm no DM. I cannot ensure proper measures are taken to track those things. So equippable equipment only.
Third, when we start the challenge, please post your character stats with equipment bonuses added. (preferably in an alternate color) Once we are both posted, the combat will begin.
Fourth, there are no prizes associated with this challenge. This is simply for fun and mutual experience with the system. However, anyone who participates will be offered a basic RPS banner with their current stats. It is yours for the asking.

Heroes List All challengers and whether they won, lost or tied will be listed here. Piro, Knight of the Flowing Rock: Although not shown here, a battle took place outside the tavern that lasted seven rounds; Piro sought to outlast the Spiritual Fist, but succumbed to it's awesome power in the end.Luc: He battled bravely for 4 rounds with the aid of his dragon Lucifer, finally succumbing to the powerful Spiritual Fist.
Alecks: He taught Fury a lesson in overconfidence, with a mighty Shield Bash; though he too fell to the powerful Spiritual Fist.
Talos Kintsei: His anger was powerful, and rightfully so; He too fell to the powerful Spiritual Fist.
Tobar: His ferocity and rage seemed endless; and though it took 6 rounds to fall, fall he did to the powerful Spiritual Fist.
Radryn Tiaos: A skilled competitor, and worthy tactician; the battle ran long into the night, for 7 rounds. Despite his best efforts, he too fell before the powerful Spiritual Fist.
Perrian: A master magician, with the powers of flame at his fingertips; He challenged the mighty team of Fury, Dancing Sword and the mighty Spiritual Fist, only to fall in the first round.
Nukunuku: She came to prove herself a warrior to be reckoned with; with grace, charm and outstanding ability she proved herself Fury's equal on the training ground field.
Gerbo Tosscobble: A true master of the Mystic Arts, he brought Dancing Sword down with a well placed Stun Bolt; but the combined attacks of Fury, Dancing Sword and the powerful Spiritual Fist brought the Headmaster to his knees in the first round of combat.
Victor Valentine: A powerful fighter made more so by the cursed Demonic Sword, proved himself capable of bringing Fury and the Spiritual Fist down at the expense of his own life; However Dancing Sword carried the day as the last combatant standing.Raven Blackhawk: A one-shot nature lover, who brought Fury to the brink of death; she fell from the heights of righteous anger, to lay at Fury's feet. Yet another foe to fail against the might of the Spiritual Fist. Darksun: A monk from the Setting Sun Dojo, who sought to prove himself by accepting all challenges. Fury then journeyed to the Dojo, accompanied by Dancing Sword; together they once again proved the might of the Spiritual Fist.
Victor Valentine: Fury journeyed to Vincent's enclave to accept his challenge to a rematch; Although the match would have been considered a tie, Vincent admitted to a mistake and honorably gave the win to Fury as a result of improper strategic planning. Perhaps the next match...

No Problem. This is how it works:
Begin with flavor Text, describing your characters actions;
Then, for the DM's benefit, define your action by;
Declaring your Dice: Are they for Attack or Defense?
Any abilities that take place;
Your choice of an Action or Spell.
You gain 1 Action Point (AP) and 1 Magic Point (MP) at the beginning of each round. Once you decided what Action or Spell your going to use, (based on available AP or MP) finish your post with:

Current MP:
Current HP:
And don't forget to roll your Dice! mrgreen

Fury moves lightly, studying his opponents stance. Thinking to test this young mage's aggressiveness, Fury tightens his defense, calling forth the Spiritual Fist to do it's duty.

(Oops thought the summon was free lol and didn't know how much ap or mp stuff cost but I've got it now thanks.) Wait how do I roll my dice?
Luc stands back and shoots a ray of frost at Fury's fist.

Alright, here's what you need to change:
Always remember to roll your dice! If you forget, no biggie. Just do it in a follow up post.
Summons cost 2 MP. You must accumulate enough MP to call forth your dragon. (second round at best)
Power up costs 2 AP. Like your summons, certain Actions and Spells have higher costs. You must first accumulate the total AP or MP in your pool before using the higher level stuff.
So... in the first round your limited to Actions or Spells of 1 cost.

Okay, here's what happens:
Fury's high defense combined with Defensive Hold easily negates your regular attack. His defense does nothing however against your magic; which inflicts 3 points of damage.
In return, Fury's Spiritual Fist hammers at you, dealing 10 points of special damage.
Fury regenerates 3 points per round, bringing him back to Max HP.

"Ugh" Luc stumbles back after being hit by Fury's spiritual fist. "Well I got you, but I guess it's going to take more than a little frost bite to bring you down." Luc then takes a defensive position and begins powering up.
