 Sai fluttered her pastel colored wings softly in the sky. Her amethyst eyes gazed at the distance up ahead. Not too far away was a building of old familiarity. It seemed like...a home. Though it seemed far too large just to contain one single cluster of Kitsusagi. Even if it was familiar, she had never been here previously. No...everything was new. Just where did she end up? She could vaguely remember the last events before her appearance here. The Lazuli...the Nitemares and her fallen comrade, with the other reaching out towards the powerful stone...Then next thing she knew she ended up here in the middle of nowhere. She had seen Kitsusagi around, but this was definitely not the place she remembered. Where were the others? She could feel all sorts of emotions all around here, but none with the same familiarity as her comrades or enemies. The aura was so...new here. Everything seemed calm, perhaps too calm. What happened to the war? Everything was such a blur now...

Brows scrunched with an effort, as his maw followed the same motion. His head was killing him, and it was difficult to open his eyes. As if he wanted to continue his sudden nap. But...his mind fell blank. But what. There was something important, nagging in the back of his mind. A sigh escaped the winged male, his form slumping back once more against the tree behind him. No rush, he prayed, for him to figure out the puzzle confusing him. Where had he been before? He remembered flying, except downward. And the stench of Nightmares had surrounded him...
Silver eyes darted open. The war! The explosion! Gloves paws pushed him upright, almost too fast but he caught himself. Where was he now?? Ears pinned back as he evened his breathing, peering at his surroundings. Nothing looked familiar, and there were no familiar faces either. Of both ally and foe.
Embry stood idle for some moments, the only movement was that of his dark tails behind him. He needed to just calm down; sort things out. Was this a result of the Lazuli? Had he been knocked out, along with the others? Determined to understand this outsome, the angelic moved cautiously through the open field. His face set expressionless.

Her eyes continued to scan the surroundings as she floated by. Everything was so different here. Sure, there were forests all around, but the layout of the forest was so different compared to what she was used to. There was a Mountain in the distance, one that was oddly shaped compared to the one where she sent her scouting team towards.
Was this the effect of the Lazuli? She didn't know the abilities of that stone entirely, only that it was said to be powerful enough to grant wishes. Or so they say...What if its abilities were entirely different? Were they sent to another time, or dimension? Was this the future? Or maybe event the past? How long has it been since the event at the temple?
Her mind was drowning with questions. It hurt to think. For once the captain was unsure what to do. Remain calm... she told herself. Find someone...anyone. Her eyes continued scanning for a familiar face or two. She could vaguely feel a familiar sense of emotion from afar...but it was too faint to confirm. For now, she continued her way towards that faintly familiar aura...

There was nothing within sight or sound that was familiar to the male. Even as his silver eyes scanned the area, the most he could admit was that his stress had somewhat leveled off. There were no threats, so far as he ould tell. But still, where had the land that he knew gone to? The only conclusion he could safely come up with was that this was the Lazuli's doing. And he only prayed that his allies had made it here as safely as he did.
Rising to his hind legs, Embry continued to scout the land around him. Only from this view, all he could see was the field before him and the trees circling him. It was almost too peaceful, compared to the chaos that he was just spat out of. Wings gave a quiver. He felt uneasiness rising again. Like a meerkat lost from its clan; he didn't know what plan of action to do.
With no other options, Embry finally caved. He would have to take flight, even if it meant him being clear in the open. At least then, something would result from it. "Here's hoping." Question was if, even in this new location, his body was fatiqued from the previous events. Spreading light wings wide, the angelic lifted from the ground. After gliding over some stretch of land, he flapped, and drifted higher in the blue sky.

The angelic female continued gliding across the sky using the warm currents. Whoever was emitting this familiar feeling was definitely getting closer to her. And as she approached this Kitsu more and more, she reduced it down to a handful of comrades she fought along side with. Each of them had their distinct personalities and emitted different auras, but this one was rather tricky.
This one was one she didn't know all too well. It was probably someone who wasn't in her group; someone she split up to go with other groups. But this one was so distinct....she just couldn't quite put a paw on it. She could only fly faster towards this Kitsu.
Surprised eyes glanced at the dull colored Kitsu. Even though he was still far away, she could see quite well. His distinct pattern and dark colored fur. There was no doubt. "Embry," She called out softly to herself. At least there was one familiar face, a friendly one at that.
"Embry!" She shouted loudly to the male.

The trees had shifted below him, growing smaller with his height incline. Only now could he see the whole of the land. Mountains, ones he'd never seen before, cresting around like a border. And he could make out the reflective surfaces of lakes and rivers between the deep green of plantlife. His hearted ear lifted against the wind. Was that a building in the distance?
With his body vertical and wings pumping, Embry held his stance in the air. As far as willingness to explore went, he'd wait till he had some knowledge of what was around him. The best comfort yet was that there was no strong scent of Nightmare. There was no scent of anyone...
Eyes blinked when the angelic tilted his head, straining his hearing. That had been his name. Called out from behind. Curious and anxious orbs looked back, just spotting the other pale angelic past the soft clouds. The bobbing glow of the gold halo, and those rainbowed wings gave off the other's identity. Feeling his stomach go to his throat, Embry flew closer to the other.
"Captain, thank goodness." It had almost became too silent here, and he was grateful beyond words to see another. An ally was even better.

At first she glanced all about him to check for any potential injuries. He was unharmed, which meant the Lazuli probably didn't harm them when it sent them here. That was also a sign he didn't get caught up with the Nitemares, also a good sign. Good...good...At least he was safe, but she still couldn't help but feel anxious about the others. If anything happened to them, it was her fault. Just like Onnoco...that was also her fault.
Her anxious eyes glanced at the soft spoken male, "You are safe, I assume?" By the tone of his voice and his also anxious feelings it was rather obvious she was the first he met since the two of them came here. For now it was just the two of them...This was rather distressing. "Is it also safe to assume you also do not know where we are?" She sighed.

Once near enough he backpedaled, moving vertical once again to hold his place in midair. Brows twitched when he caught the observation, and he looked down at his own pelt for the first time. There was nothing there to concern about; just as it had been during the war. Ears sunk at that thought, remembering the bloodspattered pelt of another angelic. It made him cring, fur shifting and settling in seconds.
A solemn nod was given to her first question. "I'm quite alright. And yourself?" There was no drastic sight of red on her, that much he could determine. If anything, they were both just harmed in terms of confusion. But even that was enough to stunt them. "I'm sorry, but...I do not know." He was of no use right now, with no knowledge or strength to really decipher what was before them.

If she had been injured it would stick out like a sore thumb. Her white body would show it almost instantaneously. "I am well," She replied shortly after. At least she wasn't injured. She was just confused as to where they were and where the others were. Or where the Lazuli was, even what happened to the whole war they were caught up in.
"It is alright," She shook her head lightly, "At least you are safe. I am sure the others--if they are here as well, are also safe. Though we just have to figure out where we are in respects to where we were," She shrugged her shoulders lightly. "At least there are no Nitemares that I saw. None that carried ill will anyway."

Embry nodded, turning to glance under him while flicking charcoal hair from his eyes. The others, had they survived too? The dark angelic shook his head. If they were around, they were bound to cross paths. "Seems no one won." He tilted his body till it fell over horizontal, allowing his wings to glide easily. He wouldn't leave, no chance of that. But to realize where they were, they'd have to do more than just float. Still, he'd wait for some direction before drifting away aimlessly. And to the news of Nightmares, Embry could only wonder. Were they handed the same cards as the angelics?
"What do you wish to do now?" Masked face turned back to hear the orders of the other angelic. For all they knew, they may still be in the mist of war.

She was unsure of how to answer Embry. This was surely not their world...if it was it was some place completely different. Maybe another corner of the world they were familiar with...but that was highly unlikely. Her forehead creased slightly as she thought about what to do, where the others were and where they were.
Too many thoughts spun around her head, each dancing to their own waltz. "I am not too sure myself...We could look for the others if you would like...Unless you have other suggestions."

Suggestions? The male blinked thoughtfully to himself, gliding in a smooth circle. That was hardly his place, but if he must. Ears pinned tightly to his shoulders as all the options ran through his head. Searching for the others, so long as they traveled, that would no doubt happen. Hopefully.
Embry sighed to himself, sober as he circled back with just as many opinions as he had left with. "If we may, left's find somewhere safe to rest." His face pinked somewhat to his admittance. "I...haven't had a meal since who knows how long." The war had made sure to that, for the majority of its players. "But, only if you want to. I don't want to impose;." It could wait, especially if it meant finding their allies all the sooner.

She shook her head lightly at Embry's reply. No, there was no sure way the others were here with them. All she had was Embry right now, and she had to make due with what she had. It was best to address some more important needs such as hunger and rest right now. Lord knows the two of them needed some of that since the war started. She had to take care of him, not only because it was her duty to do so as his commander, but also because...well, it was the right thing to do.
"No, you are correct. Let us find a safe shelter and some food first. We should get some rest before trying to find the others. They will be fine without us for a day or two," She smiled lightly.

A look of appreciation crossed his face briefly, before nodding in reply. It would do best to move while at full energy. And now with two heads to keep watch, they'd be better protected in this strange place. Even if this place, so far, appeared harmless. His wings set against the wind, and he waited patiently for the other to take lead. He knew his rank, and had no complaints to it. A position were few opinions were spoken, but dedication strong...that's were he was placed. War or not, that's all he knew. "Sounds like a plan." And the promise of food was a pleasant image to the angelic.

Before taking their leave, Sai turned to her companion, "For now do not treat me as your superior. Just treat me as a normal companion of yours. We do not know where we are, and if we are within enemy territory they could easily find out I am the Captain, leading us both in danger. So no need for formalities, alright?" She grinned lightly.
"Now...what would you like to eat? Do not tell me 'everything'...at least limit your options or we will eat grass," She teased.
