It hadn't been too long since the day she had given birth to her second child. Siria'Chunuka had spent a lot of time resting and recovering, thankful that her other daughter was around to help her by bringing food and watching over the orange and black pup when she wanted to get water or something else.
Now was one of her lazy times. Lejali was out hunting and she lay by the entrance of the den she had quickly found as soon as she was able to move. The green and black wolf was resting on her belly, her head settled on her paws. Every now and then she'd glance back into the den to see if her other daughter was going to come stumbling out of it.
Siria had yet to tell her her name. She wanted to wait until she was sure that the other would know it and know it well. Wimbo'nguvu ...Song of Strength would be her name, a name that she hoped would suit her well and it was the name her father carried...
Now she couldn't wait to tell her...

The little black and orange pup was in the middle of trying to figure out just what her tail was doing. It just wouldn't stop following her! Didn't it have it's own place to go? She tried to catch it, but it was always one step ahead of her. Sneaky thing. She dove again, but managed to slip and fall onto her tummy. With a whimper, she wriggled back up onto all fours, giving her head a little shake to help clear it up. She'd catch it one day!
Her purple eyes scanned around her, noticing that her mother was indeed not next to her, but out by the entrance! Oooooh. She bounded her way towards her mother, little paws slipping on the smooth floor of the den. She tried to stop just next to her mother, but misjudged and clawed at the ground to stay near her. Slipping....eep! She fell on her stomache again, but instead of getting back up, she just wiggled her way next to her mother, clinging to her paw once she could reach it.

Soft laughter bubbled up inside of Siria and escaped through her maw at Wimbo's actions. She nuzzled the other softly on the top of her head then she pulled her closer with her other paw. "Hello little one, what have you been up to?" The female asked happily as she gazed down at the purple-eyed pup with her golden yellow ones.
It was hard for her to suppress the urge to suddenly blurt out her daughters name, she wanted to wait until the other was settled and situated. "I'm going to tell you something important today." She whispered softly as if it was some kind of secret. To add to the suspense she supposed, even though there wasn't any suspense to begin with. Ah it was no matter.
Today would definitely be the day she named her. Definitely.

The little pup cocked her head to the side, wondering just what her mother had in store for her. She wriggled around out of excitement for a moment, letting the feeling out before she would have to settle down and listen to her mother intently. For this second, though, she would act like a silly little cub.
"What is it?" she bounced around for a moment, back on her little orange toes before settling herself down in front of her mother, staring up with her big purple eyes. Her ears flicked around her, more intent on knowing what her mother was going to share with her moreso then telling her what she had done. Secrets were always more exciting!

This time Siria suppressed the laughter that had once again bubbled up. She reached out a paw and patted her daughter on her head. It was nice to see her so excited. She hadn't really been 'around' during Lejali's childhood even though she had been there the entire time. She had been there physically, not really mentally so she was determined to do things right this time around.
"Your name." She whispered like it was some big secret. It was, well sort of at least right now. Only she knew it and now the pup before her would too. "It's something I hope you'll carry proudly." It was a name that showed all the hope she was going to give this little girl before her. Her hope that she would grow up strong and wouldn't make any mistakes like the ones that she did herself.
The older female was also hoping that Wimbo wouldn't mind that she was named after her father, Siria felt that it was fitting and it was a nice way to remember the father who had given everything up for his unborn daughter and the female he loved.

Bright purple eyes blinked, and the pup didn't really get exactly what her mother was saying at first. She knew about names, but didn't realize that she would ever get one herself, one day. But that one day was this day!!
THe little pup yelped, excitement so strong she couldn't sontain it. Her little body shaking, she latched herself onto her mother's resting paw, a sparkle in her eyes. "Really?" Really really? How fun! She had no idea what that name was, but if her mother was going to give it to her, it would be better then any name. She knew it.

Her daughter's excitement to receive her name amused Siria to no end. She remembered how excited she had been to receive her name how ever long ago that was. "Really."She responded licking the top of her head still smiling. Around her daughters it was difficult for her to hold up her cryptic ways that she carried around others, strangers, but at this point she didn't mind.
Siria let silence fall over them for a little before finally speaking again. She hoped the anticipation wasn't too much for her little pup. "Your name will be....Wimbo'nguvu." She whispered, her maw close to the other's ear. "Song of strength." She continued.

When her mother had told her 'really', the pup quieted down. It was funny, how some things just seemed to settle the excited jitters of children, but perhaps something as special as a name was one of those things. The pup was excited, sure, but she felt like it was something special. Sure, Mommy was Mommy, and her sister was her sister, though Mommy sometimes called her Lejali. But now she was about to get her own name too!
The silence that fell between them sure did seem like a long time to the pup, but she knew it was important, she did keep telling herself. And if something was important, then you were supposed to wait for it.
'Wimbo'nguvu.' The strange words played through her mind over and over again. She was trying reeeally hard to remember it. Song of strength. That must be what her name meant. Song? The pup, no, Wimbo liked songs. So her name meant a song? The pup's energy soon bounced back into her, and she scrambled around her mother as she was fully excited about this. "Wimbooo~" she chanted, happy as she could be.

Siria's yellow eyes followed the movement of her now hyped up daughter. "I am glad that you like your name," she told her with a happy smile. "I was worried that you wouldn't like it," she admitted with a light laugh before grabbing the energetic pup with her paws and bringing her close, licking the top of her head. "Carry it proudly okay?"
The older female decided to wait to tell her about her father, after all some thing were better left unsaid until a later date. Right now all the green and black female wanted to do was to spend time with her two daughters. "Why don't you tell Lejali your name? I'm sure she'll be delighted to hear it."

The little orange girl...Wimbo now, she nuzzled up to her mother when she recieved that warm lick, feeling very happy at the moment. While back then, when she didn't really realize that she didn't have a name and didn't care, she felt extra special now to have a special name, one different from Mommy and Lejali.
Her own name. Wimbo.
"I like it a lot, Mommy," she said, giving her another warm nuzzle just under her chin. "I wanna tell Lejali when she gets back, yeah yeah!"

It made the older female so happy to see the happiness in her daughter. Things hadn't exactly gone smoothly for her and Lejali. No it had been a troublesome time for the two of them. Things had been extremely difficult, mostly for her first born daughter who in a way had to grow up so much sooner than she should have.
Now with Wimbo it was like she was getting the chance to start over, to be a better mother than before. It was another chance to do things right. "Lejali should be here soon." she commented with a nod looking out into the trees to see the form of her other daughter in the shadows. "There she is now."

Wimbo wriggled with anticipation as she looked to where Mommy was pointing out. Oooh, there she was, there she was! THe little black and orange maned wolf wiggled impatiently as she waited for her older sister to get a bit closer, as she knew better then to bolt out of the cave.
When she had gotten close enough that she thought she was okay, Wimbo skittered towards the entrance of the cave, eering her head out to ty and get closer to her sister. "Lejali! Lejali! I wanna tell you my name!!" She shook with excitement as well as pride, since now she carried such a fun, special name that was all her own.

Lejali stepped out of the shadows to see her eccentric sister bounding over. Her brows furrowed in confusion before realization struck. Siria had finally told the black and orange pup her name. A soft smile crossed the older females lips as she crouched down. "Mother gave you your name?" she inquired tilting her head with interest. Lejali had no idea what the other's name was, Siria refused to tell her. Now she knew why.
"What is it?" she asked with peeked interest. It was great to see bother her mother and her sister so happy, when she was growing up she saw a side of their mother that she hoped little Wimbo never saw. "I bet it fits you perfectly."

The little orange and black pup wiggled more, so happy that she could tell her sister, and tell her first! "I sure hope so," she gasped, trying to calm herself down so she could tell her sister with clarity and pride. She took a deep breath, letting her body slow down a bit before blirting out. "It's Wimbo....Wimbo'nguvu!" Right?
She wanted to make sure that she said it correctly, so she peered back at her mother curiously, one big ear of hers flopped over as she cocked her head to the side, looking for a confirmation and soothing that she was correct. It would be silly if she told her sister the wrong name. "Wimbo's my name, right Mommy?"

Lejali couldn't help but smile at her sister. She was just so cute and full of energy. "Wimbo? That's a perfect name for you!" The older female exclaimed bending her neck over to lightly nuzzle her sister as her mother nodded.
Siria nodded. "That's correct. Your name is Wimbo." She cooed rising to her paws and strolling over to her two children giving them both a quick nuzzle. Then she stepped backward the soft smile still upon her lips. "Carry it proudly Wimbo, okay?" She asked cocking her head a bit.
Lejali had fallen silent as her mother joined them watching the lime green marked female quietly. Her thoughts traveled to the possibility of Wimbo become cryptic like her mother was around strangers, shaking her head she nudged Wimbo. "How about I take you on a training session in hunting in honor of you getting your name?"
