Ripuka had wandered away from his big male lion friend-who seemed to have his own family issues to work out with his family. So, Ripuka was back to the area where he had seen that white female last-the one that had caught his intrest and made him sort of-kind of like her alot.
Okay, he had never really like his sisters or anything but.. .this female was pretty alright. He enjoyed her company and it was nice to not have to talk too his family all the darn time.
So now, he was searching with his black nose too the ground-hiffing here and there to find her scent.
He needed some genet time

Having once again slipped away from her tan cheetah friend, possibly forever, Maksiasui was resting up in the branches of one of the trees where she had met that other genet.
What was his name again? She thought to himself, her black eyes cast upward towards the sky and fluffy white clouds that littered the blue. Hm...it was Ripuka right? She asked herself before nodding contently and shifting her gaze from blue skies to green grasses below. Her thoughts trailed from the pale colored genet to her tan colored friend.
I wonder if he misses me....I miss him... Her thoughts mulled around rather aimlessly. She suddenly shook her head and stuck out her tongue forcing a smile to her maw. There was no reason to think of sad things when happy things were bound to happen soon enough.
She continued to look downward peering down at everything and everyone that passed under her, wondering if they be fun to play with.

RIpuka was starting to give up home on finding sui. He knew that Umo would be wandering away with his mate soon enough and he wanted to see her again... but what he could not decide was if he would ever see her after this. He was devoted to that family-but... wanted to settle down and find someone out there-to spend time with a groom and play with their tail. He sighed, his olive eyes looking around in almost sadly. He really thought that Maksiasui was awful fun=way more entertaining than his sisters.
He sniffed the air sadly, sitting down below the very tree that she had perched herself in. Ripuka was starting to loose hope that he would find that lovely white and black lady friend of his. Grrr. I suzpsose it b' juss' a silly He said to himself, his puffy tail curling over his front paws. He shook his head. I'll never find dat' lovely lady...]

The fluffy female had spaced off, staring blankly ahead of her with her chin resting on her paws when she heard a voice. Her ears immediately twitched at the sound and she scrambled to her paws on the branch. Her actions caused her to become wobbly and unbalanced, nearly falling off, her claws extending and digging into the bark was the only thing keeping her on.
A smile crossed onto her maw when she caught his words, she wasn't sure if the male was talking about her but he could be. Peering over the edge of the branch she looked down at him with her dark eyes.
"Don't let life get you down, always always smile and never ever frown!" She called to him cheerfully beaming.

Ripuka was going to give up all hope-until... he heard her sweet delicious voice singing from above him. His head snapped up so fast, he almost gave himself a headache. His mouth gaped, his ears cocked. Oh my. He paced back and forth, his vision on her at all times. What was she doing in a tree? What was she thinking?
He panted in a frantic way-getting up on his hind legs and wagged his front ones in the air. What r' ye' doin' up dere Maksiasui? He said, shaking his paw in the air. Don't ye' be fallin' down 'n hurtin' ye pretty self' He said, lowering himself and wandering over too the tree, looking up at her from the base.
I was hopin' I'd find 'ye here

A giggle rain out from the female as she smiled cheerfully, looking down at him. "No need to worry silly, I'm perfectly safe and fine!" She settled her chin against the rough surface of the branch. "After all I got up here without falling off." She pointed out in a matter-of-fact tone of voice.
"You're being silly worrying like that, just like....." Her voice trailed off and her face darkened with slight sadness. She shook her head. That was all in the past. No need to dwell on it now.
Quickly she changed subjects. "You were looking for me? Now why would you be doing that?" She inquired tilting her head and peering out even farther from the bark to get a good view of him.
Her actions weren't very safe and probably very, very brain-missing, but that was just who she was. She couldn't help it. Being careful and safe was just not her

Ripuka was anxious and freaking out cause he knew she might fall and he couldn't very well catch her with his tiny paws and he knew that if she fell, she'd get hurt. He started to pace back and forth, going over too the trunk and placing his paws on it, his fuzzy butt wagging. You gonn' get hurt up d'ere Maksi-maksi... He said shaking his head.
He hefted himself upwards against the trunk but didn't succeed in grabbing the back well and slid down. He sat down, looking up at her with a wagging tail. Cause.. I been missin' yer company... I just wanted... to get to know 'ye better or somefink He said, tossing his head up at her in a nod.
I wish ye would come down'
P.s. I changed his color... it suits him more. <3

She shook her head. "Stop being a worry wart!" She called down to him sticking her tongue out playfully. She didn't understand why he was so worried, she was perfectly fine and it wasn't as if she'd get seriously hurt if she fell. After all she wasn't -that- far off the ground. Okay so maybe the female was but it didn't seem like that far for her.
"Awww that's sweet!" She told him with a happy smile before frowning when he asked her to come down yet again. She wrinkled her nose and let out a sigh. "I suppose I can come down, but this branch is so comfy...."

Ripuka pushed on the tree trunk-as if the tree would wiggle and cause Missy-Maksi come down faster. He was a big worry wart and he couldn't help it. He shook his head, sticking his tongue out at her equally long-his tail twitching wildly from side to side. OOoh, come down Missy missy... He said looking up at her with concern. He'd climb the tree if he had too-even though he was rather rounder and larger to scurry up that tree trunk without difficuty. He made a whiney noise in the back of his throat-looking up at her with distaste. Was she teasing him. He made a pouty face-sitting down and looking up at her.
Awwwh, please come down Missy' Maksi... If you's fall down I'd neva' let myselves forget it. He said, his small eyes wide with worry. He didn't like her being off the ground like that. Yesh.. come down come down

Maksiasui didn't want to come down from her comfy branch but knew that Ripuka wouldn't stop pestering her unless she did. And she didn't want to be pestered, it'd remind her too much of the cheetah she left behind so many days ago. She -definitely- did not want want to have him on her mind, no, it was better if she forgot about him.
The female stood up and moved closer to the end of the branch and jumped down landing, surprisingly gracefully on a lower branch. Now she was much closer to the ground and just jumped off the branch to the grass covered ground. "Happy now?" She asked smiling.

Ripuka sighed as he watched her head down out of the tree and he could feel his already puffy fur relax-so he didn't look so much like a pin-cusion. He chittered a few chosen words before she finnally made it too the ground and he waddled around her, inspecting her for injury or dirt. It was a bit odd that he cared so much for this little lady-even though he should be out caring for his Umo or the new kids.
Truth was, he was smitten with this fine female-and couldn't bring himself to forget how sweet and silly she was. He wiggled his nose, he sniffed the top of her head before he nodded. Course Missy.... I am very happy nows He said, lapping at the top of her head with his pink tongue-concerned that he little top of her head fur-was ruffled too much and he messed with it. Didn't want ye to be gettin' hurt

Maksia rolled away from him before rolling onto her back looking up at the sky. "I would've been fine. I've climbed tons of trees before and never got hurt." She shook her head on the grass. She didn't mention the fact that she had always had someone that she knew would catch her in a heart beat. She found it unimportant.
"Really, you don't need to worry about me. I can take care of myself," she told him closing her eyes as she squirmed a bit to get more comfortable. She wanted to be back up in the branches of the tree, it was so much easier to get comfortable.

Ripuka pouted his face and puffed out his chest. Even if she had climbed bunches of trees and frolicked around so happily-it was not something he wanted to witness. Not only would rolly polly cubs be the rest of his life-but he'd also suffer due to the fact she had fallen during his gaurd and that-would crush him. In fact-he'd never had any other intrest in any female genets except her-and even retreated from Umo's hide to find her. He was smitten.
Dats betters... wiff me luck ye'd have fallenHe said nuzzling up next to her and cleaning her pale ears with is pink tongue. He snuffed her lovely lady fur into his nose-taking in her scent to keep it fresh in his mind. Course, I ain't ever climbed no tree-so dats prolly why

"I wouldn't have fallen silly, I grew up in the trees!" she exclaimed pulling away to tap his nose playfully. "Trees are the best place to sleep!" she exclaimed cheerfully running over to the trunk of the tree and rubbing her side against it. She really loved trees, but that was because she grew up in them she supposed.
"You should climb one sometime." she stated looking back at him

Ripuka wiggled his nose as if it bothered him she touched it, but didn't lose his smile or say anything about it. He was just... a funky genet afterall. He blinked his olive eyes, wondering what she meant by growing up in the trees. Literally? He looked up and stared open mouthed at the leaves. Up there? He lived on the ground his whole life-and if he wasn't on the ground he was on Umo's back or... sleeping.
He shook his head. Heights could be dangerous and he didn't doubt her... he just didn't like heights overall. Ahh. You's jus be 'areful up dere-ya here... you could falls... no matta' how good ye' is as climbin'...
Wouldn' want my fluffy one fallin down... not at all
