I love all the old horror movies. Expecaly Halloween all of them from John Carpenter. Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13, all the old one rule. The new horror movies for teh most part aren't vdry good.

YA the last 2 or 3 Halloween movies really did suck. But Out of all John Carpenters movies 2 bad ones isn't too bad.

Halloween H20 was confusing - instead of yelling 'he's right there' or 'don't be stupid, he's not really dead!' I just kept yelling out plot holes and mistakes in event history, always ending in 'and just what happened to Jamie, huh? Why'd you leave the kid behind when you faked your death, genius?!' Halloween III always put me to sleep. All the others were great though. Friday the 13th was one of the first horror movies I ever saw (and I saw them all at an ill-advisable age to be watching them, lol) so it's a natural favorite, even if I really just wish the new Jason would just shut up and die. He doesn't relate to the old one at all, now he's just a mindless killing machine - 'Ooh, teenagers in the buff, time to wake up!' At least in the earlier sequals there was always repetitive reference to his story, his sympathy for children, painting him as just a poor, missunderstood psychopath. crying I miss the old Jason, poor missunderstood Jason who just needs a few centuries of counseling and possibly some meds! crying

I liked the old horror movies. They were great, they didn't scare me, but they were definitely fun to watch. 3nodding

I love silence of the lambs, I watched my tape of it so much it wrecked xp xp So I got a new one lol
I love the old movies including the ORIGANAL House of Wax! (so much better then the new one), Friday the 13th series, Nightmare on E;m Street series, and lot of other ones.
I love the physological thrillers though, hence why I love silence of the lambs.

... what lies beneath, i don't know, it's just stuck in my mind.. probably because i was shocked (caught unguarded) by a scene from that film.
