*Please don't read ahead if you don't want to be "spoiled"* Okay so.... for the people who know/watched the ending of DOC... What do you think about it? Do you think it's a ShelkexVincent moment? Do you find it boring? nice? I think it's nice! A HAPPY ENDING! And Vincent's got a nice smile there! =3 And no, not a ShelkexVincent ending XP Even though Shelke's got "a bit of Lucrecia" in her =/ VINCENT SHOULD STAY SINGLE SO THE FANGIRLS WILL KEEP ON COMING! Nyahaha! Oh, by the way, I cried like a baby, thinking that he died. THAT WAS SO CONVINCING! GRRRR! I was saying "NO! Vincent!!! no! you can't die!" at the screen like crazy! XD Anyway... enough of my post... what do YOU GUYS think? =3 Ending link.... if you want to click... errr..... or look again

It would've been much more epicer if he had died. Then he'd be free from his so-called 'sin' and had gone out with a bang, saving the world.
But well, I guess he survives for the fans.

I was a lot more interested in the secret ending. The regular ending just seemed to give closure to Vincent's story like it was supposed to.

i think it WAS a vinceXshelke moment = but in a brother/sister way, not a love/mate way. vincent's only joys in life are lucrecia and protecting his friends. shelke became his friend, and lucrecia became a part of her. shelke starts acting like lucrecia, too.
if the world were a happy place (if the ffvii saga ended, basically), and everybody had a happy ending, then i believe vincent and shelke would stay at eachother's side as brother/sister.
that shouldnt be too hard, since they're both "immortal". vincent's body wont die, and shelke's wont age.

All I can say is that when Vincent died, I became really really mad/upset that he "died" I honestly thought the FFVII creators were just going to kill off a great character like that. ^^;

Great game, playing Crisis Core along with DoC connects so much. Great games, though I do think they should probably make a remake of FFVI and include some lil hints about Genesis and Omega. Gosh would that be awesome.

The ending was good. I think it would have been a great plot twist if Vincent had died, though. But that couldn't have happened since fangirls would have gone on a rampage...

Personally. I think the ending was horrible as well as the game-play :/ It felt like the creators were out to make money more than make another FFVII; they just made up a story and tacked in some FFVII characters into it ensuring that it would sell.

I liked the ending, oddly enough-- not so much for Shelke (please keep the loli away from the senior citizens), but for the presentation at the end, how beautifully restored the planet was after all the wars and suffering. I love the game, though I'll freely admit it was horrible and not very well thought-out. xD Also for Vincent getting over Lucrecia finally. Which is another huge strike against the Shelke/Vincent angle, because she's like a mini-Lu clone. No thank you. Let the man move on with his life. (Granted, I'm also horribly biased when it comes to pairings, so. xD)

ShelkexVincent in a romantic sense? Heck no. In a mentor or parent/child sense it might work. ShaluaxVincent might have worked better, but... sweatdrop
I thought the ending was good, all in all.

I...almost cried. I just got sad, then grumpy when it turned out he wasn't dead. (Damn you Squeenix for doing that to me! ]< ) I also got sad when Shalua died...went into a coma...whatever. But,honestly, the controls of the game were pretty crappy. I only bought it for the story, though, so it doesn't really matter.
