Sia walked along by herself. It was a bit dark out and a chilly wind blew, making her shudder and rub her arms. Pausing, she loked up at the sky, she hated being alone, easpecially in the dark. Her cream and orange colored tail twitched and she kept walking, wanting to get out of this place or at least find another taur.

Melchior walked beneath the trees, his tail flickering, and he looked up. He noted a flash of color in the moonlight. He pauses, tilting his head, then smiles and trots forwards, calling out softly "Hello...?" His tail flickers as he moves, and he stops when he is visible in the moonlight.

Sia froze for a minute and turned around. Her ears swiviled, trying to figure out were the sound came from,"Hello?"She said in a bit of a scared voice. She shuffled her orange and cream hooves nervously as she waited for an answer. The place was so dark, she knew that she was probeble the brightest thing there.

Melchior tilts his head. He knew he was dark but the moonlight SHOULD have made him visible to her. "Over here, Miss...." He tilts his head, concerned at the young woman's nervousness. He may only be a teen but that didn't mean he couldn't respect boundaries, nor did it mean he wanted to SCARE people. "I wont hurt you..."

Sia almost jumped when she heard someone. She turned around and saw another centaur standing there in the moonlight. At this moment, Sia felt like completely embarrased, even though she had turned around, she didn't bother to look closely. Right now she could kick herself for being so dumb."Hi."She gave an embarrased grin and slowly waved her hand.

Melchior moved slowly towards her. "Are you ok?" He stopped close enough she could fully see him, but far enough back that she shouldn't feel trapped or threatened. "You seemed upset, I think... or cold? Maybe both...?" He waits quietly.

Sia looked at him,"Oh I'm just cold, alone, and I'm pretty sure I'm lost."Sia laughed nervously as she rubbed her arms. She looked at him,"My name is Sia."She said in a pleasant tone,"Whats your name?"Her smile was a kind one.

"I'm Melchior." He studies her, then says "Well were are you trying to get to? Perhaps I can help you. I know this area pretty well..." He tilts his head.

"Well, i can't really remeber....."Sia said in a unhappy tone.'is there any place we could make a fire and sit?I've been walking around for a while and my legs are sore."Sia asked him. She looked at him, she had never seen a taur colored like him before, she likes his red hair.

Melchior blinks at her comment, then he nods. "Yeah, sure. This way. I know a cave nearby, we can build up a small fire, and you can rest." He turns and begins to move off, making sure he stays in her line of sight.

Sia nodded her head and followed after him, her tail flicked once as she paused to look around. She hated being surrounded by trees, she preffered open fields. At least she wasn't the only taur here.

Melchior soon led her into the cave, and said "Stay here, move around. It'll keep blood flowing and keep you warmer. I'll be back, I'm getting wood." He gave her a friendly grin, then moves into the woods to find good logs.

Sia watched him leave, then wwalked around the iside of the cave. Her hooves made a soft clicking noise as they hit the stone floor. She kinda liked the clicking noise and tapped her hooves in a few different beats, she knew this was pretty random and weird, but oh well.

He re-appeared and left several times, setting down loads of wood, then went back. FInally, when he had enough, he begins to build a fire pit with stones, in a spot scorched in a way that makes it clear others had done so before. Then he builds the fire, before working to light it.

Sia watched as Melchior built the fire,"Do you want any help? I feel kind useless just by walking around.". She really wanted to help out, she didn't like just to stand by and watch others do work while she could help.
