This is probably a lame means of discussion...
Just wondering what your favorites are, and which one you voted for, etc. etc.
(OF course, since this is me, I'll let you get off topic - but not TOO off topic....! ^^; wink

I liked the band-aid and the police.... head... thingy.
I expected there to be more to choose from... O_O (And I thought the remote control car was extremely lame... -.-)

It's weird cause someone posted a really well done version of the same idea that obviously took ages that they entered, and yet that one got into the finals.

Really awsome idea for a contest. I wanted to enter, but I just didn't have the time or the scanning capability... ~.~;; I wasn't very impressed with the finalists though... some of 'em were cute, like the garbage can and sushi ones, but overall... anyway, I ended up picking the giant flower, because that was the only one I was really at all impressed with instead of just thinking, "Oh, that's kind of cute..."

Yes, I wish I had entered as well. I had TOO many ideas! And I thought the item could only have one like equipment - which sorta killed the whole thing for me...
Hm, I voted once for the flower also... and then on another account for the band-aid and the police head thingy.
Those were my favorites... I expected it to be harder to choose though.... O_O
Aw, we have to enter nice time, k?! Figure out some way to scan! =O Scanners are like gold to an artist... I'm so happy I finally got one - until then everyday felt like hell...
(OKAY- Maybe I'm exaggerating a little, but still!)

I'd just do it in Paint tbh if you enter a future one. =P
But I can understand. I used to have to steal my mum's husband's scanner. Now I'm far away from it. =[
I kind of wish I'd entered the contest too. I want nicer hats. D=< Nice showy ones with lots of ribbons and flowers, but not big clumpy things like the existing hats. Otherwise, I'd just use an existing one as a base and add the ribbons and flowers myself. Alas, I'll just have to wait. emo

@Akila: The items can only have one pose, but so many people didn't read that rule that the admins didn't count the multi-pose ones out. For those ones, if one of 'em ends up winning, they'll just have the artist choose one of the poses.
And I'll use a friend's scanner or something next time! biggrin But I get what you mean. I can feel my skin being slowly burned by the flames of Hell as I type this. D:
@Morgey: I thought about Paint but I'm soooo bad in it! D: It wouldn't even look like an item... more like a blob or something...

@Kitsune; Ah yea, I read that in the announcement today. That was my problem with the item contest. I wanted to do more than one pose, but it was against the rules... I tend to overdue things at times and I wouldn't feel satisfied with one boring item on its own...
OO well, nice time I shall just have to make due!
And good, I can't wait to see what you enter when the time comes!
@Morgey: Yea, the hats do suck here. I usually wear headbands or scarfs, rather than the crummy hats. The problem is they also glitch a lot. It's so annoying... -.-

I think I might've gotten an idea... it would be called "The Shining" or something like that, and it would just be an item that made your avatar look all shiny like an overly-done anime.
