Shaking his head, Siltim just couldn't believe his sister had gotten pregnant and had cubs! It was so hard to imagine that he was an uncle now! His lime green eyes widen as he remember his sister showing off her cubs to him, and how two of them were oddballs! They were pink! Of all the colors, they were pink! No one in their family had pink so it must have come from the father of the cubs. But, wouldn't he of noticed a bright pink male roaming around the Pridelands? It was just so much to fathom, but nevertheless, he helped his sister take care of the cubs since he did adore them!

With a brightly colored flower in his mouth, Pembe'juhi was happy with his find. The flower not only matched his color, but it was the only bright pink one out there! His pale blue eyes twinkled happily as he couldn't wait to show off his find to someone. As he was getting closer to the den, outside underneath the tree was his favorite uncle! His tail flicked happily as he pranced forward.
As he stopped in front of his uncle, he dropped the flower with a large grin, "Look Uncle Siltim! Look what I found!" He puffed out his chest, "It matches me!"

Speaking of the pink devil, here he comes now. Siltim's expression soften as he spotted what was making the cub so glowing with happiness. A flower. A flower that matched him. He couldn't help but chuckle, considering what his sister told him about their names. All flowery names. His tail flicked as he ruffled Pembe's head gently, "What do you have here? Do I see a white flower?" He teased gently, just messing with Pembe. It was nice to relax and enjoy life going by. Especially now that Chu'mana was here with him. The mere thought of her made his heart flutter.
Poking his nephew's chest, he shook his head, "I don't know, Pembe...I think the flower is brighter than you are!"

Blue eyes widen as Pembe shook his head, "Not uh, Uncle Siltim! The flower isn't blue, it's pink!" He knew that his uncle was teasing him and it made him happy. He loved his family very much. His tail flicked as he pounced on Siltim's paw, "The flower isn't brighter than me, I'm brighter than it. How could you even think that, Uncle Siltim!?" He looked up at his uncle and gave him the biggest, saddest eyes he could muster.
But, as he was looking up at his Uncle, an idea came to mind. He grinned playfully before climbing his way onto his uncle's back and burrowing into his mane. He peeked out, "Now you can't see me!"

Just as Siltim didn't think he could get smothered, he did. Not only did his paw get attacked, but his mane did as well! Blinking in mock surprise, he cried out, "Oh no! Not my mane! Anything but my mane!" He bent down to pick up the flower. With the flower in his mouth and Pembe on his back, he got up and went towards the den to give his mother the flower. His mother was surprised and happy at the gift before shooing them away to have some fun.
Standing in front of the den, he tilted his head, with Pembe still up there. "Where would you want to go, Pembe?"

Looking up from between Siltim's ears, Pembe thought for a moment. Where to go? He looked around before an idea came to mind. "I'll be happy with wherever you take me, Uncle Siltim!" He nodded his head before pawing at his uncle's neck, urging him to go on.
He turned to look back at his family's den, seeing his grandmother standing at the entrance watching them leave. He smiled brightly to her and called out, "Bye Granma! We'll go and have plenty of fun!"

Pembe's paws kneaded his head gently as Siltim gave his mother a smile before turning to wander away. Well, since the pink cub was letting him chose where to go, this would be quite an adventure. They went to the watering hole the other day, so this time they'd have to go somewhere different. Replying to the cub, "Alright Pembe! Just hold on tight and don't fall off please. I don't think my sister would be too happy with me if that were to happen."
He padded off in the direction of the grassy plains where they could have some fun. It was a place where his elder sister and himself would go all the time. So it only seen perfect to take her son there.

Excited about where they were heading, Pembe's pale blue eyes gazed forward, trying to figure out just where they were heading. He was anxious, "Uncle Siltim, where are we heading? Are we there yet?" Just like most cubs, he was a little impatient and wanted to be there already. He wanted the scenery go by, changing slightly to a little bit more flat and there were slightly less trees. Were they still in the pridelands, he wondered.

They were just about there, Siltim could see the beginnings of the ravine just up ahead. It was a place that he went with his sister and Yaten quite a few times. He stopped to let Pembe jump down to the ground as he announced, "Yes, we're here Pembe. This place your mother and I used to go all the time, and got in trouble just as much." He chuckled heartily.
He pointed ahead, "It might not look like might is out here, but there's plenty to do. See that hole up ahead, we can go down and explore that. And sometimes, there are large herds of wildebeasts that come here."

As his uncle moved for him to get off, Pembe slowly made his way from his uncle's back to the ground. He landed and kind of stumbled, just now getting his barings. Once he shook himself of any dust, he gazed up at where they were. It seemed so far away from home! He liked that. Ears pricked forward curiously as he listened to his uncle. Oh, this was a place his mother and his uncle used to go all the time. Well, it definitely had sentimental value then.
He smiled brightly, "Lets go explore then!" He bound forward towards the ravine, watching his step as he came towards the edge.

Glad to see that his nephew was excited, Siltim followed closely behind the pink cub. Making sure he didn't get hurt or into too much danger. There wasn't any harm in letting the cub go off and do what he wanted, to a certain extent. He didn't want Pembe to live a life like he had, with an overprotective mother. Making his way carefully down the ravine, he leapt towards the bottom with a thud.
Lime eyes looked at his nephew, watching him explore this place as he did his own exploring of his own. This brought back so many memories, he had almost gotten trampled here when he was a cub.

Scrambling down the side towards the bottom, Pembe had gotten a little dirty but he didn't mind. He was having a blast exploring a new place he's never been before. His surroundings were mainly with clumps of grass scattered here and there. He looked back at his uncle with a bright smile before he went off ahead to look for anything out of the ordinary. All he saw was brown dirt until he spotted a cave not too far to his right.
Curious, he made his way over there to investigate. He turned back to call his uncle, "Uncle Siltim! Look what I found!"

He was almost lost in the nostalgia that this place brought before Siltim was broken from his reverie. Pembe had found something and wanted him to come over. Complying to his nephew's wishes, he walked over to where the pink cub was. Ears pricked forward as his tail flicked. He smiled at his nephew as he tilted his head, "Oh? What did you find, Pembe? It looks like a cave of sorts."
He took a closer look at it before thinking that this could have been the place he had hid, but shook the feeling off. No, that couldn't be...he had remembered there being more grass than this.

Nodding his head proudly, Pembe slightly puffed out his chest. Yes! He had found something cool afterall! "Yea! It looks small enough for me to fit in!" He went towards the entrance to wiggle his way in. It was just a tad taller than he was, it was a tight fit. As he felt the sides touch his shoulders as he went farther in, he came to a point where he couldn't go any farther. Just as he was about to turn back around, his foot touched something cool and smooth. What was it? He picked it up with his mouth and wiggled his way back out of the cave. Once he was out, he dropped the item down on the ground for his uncle and him to look at. It was a rock of sorts. But shiny!

Lime eyes watched the small cave swallow the pink cub. Siltim couldn't help but smile at the sight of it. Pembe wiggling his way into the small cave to explore it. He sat down and waited for the cub to make his way back out, which didn't happen until a little later. Tilting his head, he saw that something was in his nephew's mouth. "Oh? What do you have here, Pembe?"
Lime eyes peered at the item before him, it appeared to be a colored rock. Almost a shade like Pembe, but lighter. It had to be one of those special rocks his mother told him about not too long ago. "That's neat looking, Pembe! Are you going to take it with you?"
