I've been a member of Gaia for almost two years, and I have certainly had a lot of fun. However, the time has come for me to move on. Real life has taken over, and I no longer have the time (and lets be honest, the inclination) to maintain a strong presence on Gaia. And so I must go.
From the moment I created an accounton Gaia, I wanted to be a member of the Elven Brother and Sisterhood. I scrimped and saved for elven ears for months, then waited patiently for the recruitment to open up. I've had a lot of fun as part of elfdom.
Starting next week, I'm auctioning and selling off my entire inventory, with the exception of the clothes I have on since nakedness is not always a virtue. My plan is to donate all I have earned from the sale of my inventory, as well as my elven ears, to this guild.
I'm sad to be leaving, but I promise that all the things in real life that have finally drawn me away are very good things. I'll be around till August 31st. Then, it will be namarie.

Aww, sad that you are leaving. I have been on gaia about 2 years as well(2 Years in September). I have no intention of leaving. Good times on Gaia. I still remember selling Mini Angelic Wings for 5k. sweatdrop domokun gonk

Time pulls all things along in it''s flow, people most of all. We''''ll all leave Gaia one day, and more elves will hopefully come and fill our places. If not, then to our dismay, the elven race on gaia may cease to exist. But we are powerless to change whatever it is the future holds in store for us. So I say to you, who are leaving, "May you have a happy life one and all."

I feel I have very little time for Gaia lately, and it doesn't call to me like it did, though I think I'll always keep comming back. 3nodding I wish you all the best in your future endeavors Elenriel smile

You wouldnt be getting rid of a halo by any chance, would you? o.O
But anyway, I know exactly how you feel. Sometimes theres not enough desire to come onto gaia, though comming on is sometimes so simple. Have fun and good luck with everything in the real world! We'll be here if you ever come back!

Good luck on the sale.
I find having a bumping contest in your thread helps it go faster.
And could also be a way to get rid of a few items. wink
