When you're on steampunk communities, whether it be here or Brass Goggles or wherever your little heart desires, do you go by a different name?
Mine's Persephone (Percy) Bramble. mrgreen

Adelaide Magpie Plume [Maggie]
=3
Occasionally in role-play when I feel the need to be an ill-behaved, generally evil character I'll go by Magiere Uorsen

Caitlyn Rose, and I tend to go by Rose or Rosie.
It's my actual first and middle name, although far too girlish for me to use in real life.

I generally use a variation of my real name on the various forums of the Aethernets.
I've meant to sign up for the forums at Brass Goggles, yet, I cannot think of a suitably Steampunky name for myself. I do want to use "Clinton" somewhere in it though, because it's a rather old and rare first name itself.
Any help?

I believe Brass Goggles has a lovely little name generator for that purpose, It's helpful for coming up with a suitable feel. =3

The only place I've used it so far is the Brass Goggles forum, but it's Gunmetal Addision. If I join any other steampunky whatevers, I'll likely stick with it.

Zachariah Brian Thomas Michael Joseph Patrick Sullivan. Middle-lower class Irish "boiler boy". (His name was obviously a joke on his parents' behalf.)
I know it's not really very steampunk, but I like it nonetheless. ^_^

Capt. Algernon Flynn on BrassGoggles and other various sites.
I tend to steal names from old stories I've written or old gravesites.

Originally I had used the name Kohle Bergmann, which translated into Coal Miner, the meaning of my last name IRL, in German...
To pick something more fitting, I recently changed my Gaia name from Morurie to Maike Stahlherz. Maike is a spin-off of the name my own is based off of, and Stahlherz just translates to Steel Heart in German.
