Well Nannerz woke up this morning and everything seemed fine. She felt better and went to work.

She ended up having to come home at lunch because her eye had turned really red and dried out. I was talking to her while she was putitng in some eye drops and I noticed that her right eye (the one that was red) wasnt blinking. I pointed it out to her and after watching her talk about it I also noticed that her eye and mouth were a little droopy.

I called Jon (her hubbie) and we both decided that it was best that she go to the ER to see what the problem is.

After waiting there for about 5 hours, (Five Hours! Apparently someone whos face cant function right isnt top priority in the hospital scream ) the doctors came out and said that Nannerz has Bell's Palsy. (click on link)

It looks scary! <---Dont tell her I said that.


Imma go to bed now. I just though you all would want to know what was wrong with her since your all friends. Talk to you all tomorrow.

Good god, FIVE hours wait in an emergency room? Where do you live?

And I am glad to hear it's nothing more serious for your friend, though it seems to be not nice at all while it lasts.

I can't believe 5 hours waiting time, either...

I hope she gets well soon.

Tell her that George Clooney and Pierce Brosnan also had it.

Is there a way to make a get well soon card this guild could sign I wonder? Then someone could print it out and give it to her maybe?

And some hospitals just suck like that dude. My brother had a broken leg and had to wait around 2 f**kin' hours before someone attended to him. That is to say, 2 hours before he got an anaesthetic-- he was screaming the entire time.
