Chiyako sighed as she wandered aimlessly in the streets around Kaleido Stage. It was a calm, balmy night in Barton, and the stars glistened, listening to the breeze rustling through the trees. She sighed, stopping to look up at them, dragging her suitcase with her.
"Where could it be...? The stage..Everything's changed since 5 years ago.." She muttered aimlessly, feeling slightly discouraged. Of course, concrete failed to answer her question. She found a bench near a park and sat down, pulling her knees up to her chin. Everything she'd worked for...No. She couldn't let it go.

It just so happened that Reginald's sleep pattern was bothering him. Who ever heard of a diurnal vampire? The need to stay up in the darkness had finally overwhelmed him. He was out for a stroll when he noticed a young woman wondering around, apparently unsure of where to go.
Why this late? Surly she knew the dangers of walking outside by herself? With a heavy sigh, the vampire swiftly occupied the seat next to her, trying to look as casual as possible. He didn't say a word, sprawled himself in his little area. There were still traces of blood on his lips from his prior meal but it had been bottled blood, not a human. "Hello..." He finally prompted, turning to look at her with his blue eyes.

Chiyako glanced over at the young man sitting next to her. "H-Hello.." She stuttered, slightly surprized. She sighed afterwards, being reminded of how alone she was in the city at the moment.
"Excuse me, but would you happen to know where the Kaleido Stage is? I'm supposed to be there, and I got lost..." Chiyako asked, trying to be as polite as possible. Even if scenery changed, the hearts of people would not. Manners were as important as knowing how to make a batch of cookies.

The boy nodded with a smile gracing his lips. He seemed kind enough. Ah, another member of the stage? Good thing he stopped instead of someone less... polite. "Ah yes, Kaleido Stage... I do happen to know, actually."
The vampire got to his feet and took her hand, gently kissing the top. "My name is Reginald and I'm a student of the school. I would be honored to help you get back there." It was odd... his eyes had almost a cat's shine to them, glowing greenish if he turned the right way in the light.
With that said he straightened himself and walked a few feet away, waiting for her to follow.

"Really?" Chiyako smiled, face flushing slightly as Reginald kissed her hand. "Thank you so very much, Reginald.." She stood to fallow him, taking the handle of her suitcase.
Chiyako strided to his side, and smiled once more. Smiling had become part of her life because of the stage, and she wasn't about to let it go. "As for my name..It's Chiyako. Chiyako Maeda." She nodded, glancing up at her guide.

"Its a pleasure." He offered in return with a smile. He was getting careless. His white fangs gleamed in the dim lighting. The vampire turned his head and continued down the pathway, seeming to glide rather then walk.
"Chiyako?" He questioned, his Hispanic accent messing with the name slightly. "That's very pretty... How did you wind up out here alone? Its not safe at night, you know. A young woman such as yourself is easy prey."

Chiyako caught a glimpse of his fangs, but blinked, putting it as one of her least concerns at the moment. She continued to walk beside him, noticing small details around her such as the way the moon gleamed onto the path.
"Thank you.." Chiyako smiled again. "Well..My parents dropped me off at the airport and I took a flight here. It's just always been my dream to be able to become one of the stage..I guess I didn't think about my own safety." She laughed quietly. "But at least I have you here, Reginald." She smiled brightly at her companion.

He nodded politely then gazed at her forlornly. "I, ah, am not not the best travel companion. Some nights are better then others... However Halloween is fast approaching and its more of a hassle for me. " He let out a soft sigh and brushed the hair from his face.
"The stage isn't too far though." He commented lightly watching as magnificent lights shone from a building on the water. "Ah, there we are... The Stage. Its only about a fifteen minute walk now."

"Oh?" Chiyako frowned slightly, giving a look of concern to Reginald. "Forgive me for inquiring, but why?"
Chiyako's eyes lit up with pure amazement as she caught her first glimpse of the stage in 5 years. A bright smile spread on her face, memories rushing back to her. She laughed musically, being reminded of how her life had changed so drastically because of the stage. "It's amazing.." She commented.

The boy stared out for a moment, taking in her excitement. It had changed a lot of things for him as well. He fiddled in his pocket, playing with his reading glasses before turning to Chiyako. "Perhaps I'll tell you another time but this isn't it. I'm not in the mood tonight... If we meet again, I promise I'll tell you but let's leave it for after Halloween."
He rubbed his palm across his face and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Let's just make it to the stage, hm?" Another smile graced his features as he gently took her arm and began to lead her to the place of her dreams. "I assume your dorm is already set up for you, correct? I'm certain you should sleep before anything or else you'll exhaust yourself from excitement."

Chiyako nodded. "It's a promise then." She turned her gaze from the lovely lights to her walking partner. She then looked up at the night sky once more. "The stars...You can see them better over here.." She commented, still smiling.
"Perhaps...The old stars of the stage watch us preform from there...I'd like to think that at least..." She said quietly, sighing. "A thousand nights, huh...?"
"Oh! Yeah..My dorm's probably set up..I hope.." Chiyako sweatdropped slightly. "Thank you for everything again, Reginald."

"Of course you can... There are fewer lights here." He answered, shifting his gaze to them as well. He didn't respond to her second commentary. He hadn't known there was an original stage. Not that it really mattered to him he wasn't curious about such matters.
The vampire nodded and lead her to the front and through the doors. "If it isn't you can barrow some of my things. Sleep on my floor or something. I don't mind... I would offer a bed but I don't have one." He smiled sheepishly. "A personal preference I assure. You'll have one. Now what room number is it?"

Chiyako smiled, happily nodding. She pulled out a slip of paper from her pocket and glanced at it. The number was most definitely not in regular numbers, but rather in a strange code of symbols. She paused for a moment, sighing. "Mom...I told you not to do that..." She muttered, shaking her head. "Room 148."

"If you don't mind my asking..." He said after glancing at the paper then turning his attention to mentally counting off the rooms. "What language is that? I'm fairly versed in a few so I'm rather curious since I don't seem to know that one."
He glanced at a room number then kept going. They just passed room 100. "I'm in room 213"

Chiyako perked up a bit. "Oh..That's Japanese..You see, my Mom's Japanese and..Likes sticking to 'the old ways'." Chiyako smiled. "She met my Dad when he was working at his old job in Tokyo and they moved back here and got married." She nodded.
"I'll have to visit you sometime then..Maybe I can whip up a cake or something..."
