Alright, for the first reading, I did a simple Yes/No spread

---Gyah, Sorry for the length of this post! It's long to read, I know, but I found it fun since a lot of it seems accurate to the Zutara relationship!

This one is the Cauldron Spread
((Uses 7 cards to make a love prediction))

1. Past
The Broomstick Witch
card descrip.
Like the Broomstick witch who rides through the night air on her journey to the Sabbath, you have a mission. You reveal an urgent yearning for change. You will emerge from the maze within one lunar cycle. Problems are necessary stages to purification.
Success in flying, swimming and running are forecast when you work at your own pace: do not let enthusiasm override. However wild your visions, you will avoid flying too high and too fast.

Analysis:
"you have a mission" : Obviously Zuko's mission to capture the Avatar, Katara's promise to Aang to help save the world.
"You reveal an urgent yearning for change." : Zuko wants to capture the Avatar to regain what he once had, Katara wants peace to return to the world. Also may be applied to CoD when Katara wants Zuko to change, and when she offers to heal his scar. She has a sudden urge to help one who'd up until that moment always been her enemy.
"You will emerge from the maze in one lunar cycle." : This could refer to Zuko 'finding himself' like when he was alone, meeting Earth kingdom people who'd been terrorized by his nation, when he was sick and just spending time with his uncle as a fugitive of his own people. I'm not sure if that took only a month, but hey.
"Problems are necessary to purification." : Describes a lot of what Zuko had to go through; being banished, being labeled by his own sister/father as a fugitive, getting sick, making the decision in CoD, betraying Iroh...It all comes together into what he has been experiencing for the more recent episodes and in the present time frame of the show. Also gives reassurance that sure change is on the way for him.
"However wild your visions, you will avoid flying too high and too fast." : Ok, Zuko's little dream in which he was the Avatar came to my mind...but that isn't so far fetched now that I think on it; He had that dream, during the sickness that changed him, but he didn't fly too high or too fast when he did change. He may have had that talk about deciding his own destiny to Katara, but in the end, he still went with Azula. Then, Katara trusted him in the cave, and she may have had 'visions' of a different Zuko, one who would possibly be on their side. But when Zuko started fighting against her and Aang, she more or less knew that vision of him was only that...At least for now...Mwahaha...

2. Present.
The Venomous Witch (heh, this already looks intriguing^^)
Card descrip.
The venomous Witch is as poisonous as an Adder's fang. She fills her human believer with an insatiable wish for vengeance. Many serpents and scorpions exude venom to protect themselves, but they can also paralyze their prey. For peace of Mind, you may need to look into your heart to see if you harbor vengeful thoughts that threaten to poison your hopes and dreams.

Analysis:
"The venomous Witch is as poisonous as an adder's fang" : Could mean Azula, who we all know is very venomous...O.o We all know that Azula is going to have some interesting effects on all of the characters through out the season, and she's already doing it to Zuko. Which ties into the next little tidbit I highlighted...
"Many serpents and scorpions exude venom to protect themselves" : Refers to Zuko's present situation, hiring a hitman to take out Aang because of the way Azula has twisted things against him. Zuko is currently doing this to help protect himself from his father, but in the future, it may be another count against him in Katara's eyes. Another thing he will have to apologize to her about.
"For peace of mind, you may need to look into your heart to see if you harbor vengeful thoughts" : This one is about Katara, and even though I don't see her as the type to feel vengeful, She is still hurt by Zuko's betrayal. I do see a fight in their future, and right now is when Katara's mind is on what happened in CoD, and now is when those thoughts are stewing and her anger with him is still fresh. Katara probably does need some peace of mind right now.

3. Attitudes
The Healing Witch
Card decrip.
The Healing Witch reveals unfailing support and guidance, influencing your romantic heart while presenting truthful knowledge. She nurtures others with warmth and comfort.
A situation that heightens your intuition and renews your willpower soon makes someone you know feel better. Your own life will be bright because you seek the light and face the sunshine.

Analysis:
(Ok, this one was hard, but I managed to grasp a couple of straws...)
"The Healing Witch reveals unfailing support and guidance, influencing your romantic heart while presenting truthful knowledge." : This could be that Katara is the luckier of the two, she has the support of Aang, her brother, and Toph behind her to keep her optimistic. both Zuko and Katara are finding 'romance' with Mai and Aang, respectively, and Zuko is learning slowly about the truth of things, that his 'honor' wasn't what he was expecting, that he really did fail Iroh and the now he is paying the price for that.
"A situation that heightens your intuition and renews your willpower soon makes someone you know feel better." I am reminded of tonights episode, >>and how becoming the Painted Lady truly allowed Katara to do what she wanted; help the small, sick and hungry Fire Nation on the river. It renewed her compassion for helping people, and it made her and the village feel a lot better. I think it even made Sokka and the others see her side and accept that this is what she wanted to do <<

4. Progress
The Old Hag Witch
Card descrip.
The Old Hag Witch reveals that someone fair of face is inwardly twisted and gnarled. Unable to give unconditionally, her true self, setiments, and soul are exposed.
Being strong inwardly, you can see through a facade and are able to forgive a troublesome person's intentional or unintentional hurtful actions. But forgiveness can only go so far before you must point out to her the damage that she is doing to her friends and herself.

Analysis:
"The Old Hag Witch reveals that someone fair of face is inwardly twisted and gnarled." : Azula. Rawr. She's basically stunted Zuko's progress, really. And I wouldn't be surprised if she came between Katara and Zuko again in the future, or at least tried.
"Being strong inwardly, you can see through a facade and are able to forgive a troublesome person's intentional or unintentional hurtful actions." Katara is very strong inwardly, and yes, she does have a great capacity for forgiveness. She's already shown this to Zuko once, and she will have to again, for anything to develop further between them. The problem with this is next.
"But forgiveness can only go so far before you must point out to [him] the damage that [he] is doing to [his] friends and [himself]." : Zuko is indeed still doing damage to himself and those he's friends with. Iroh in particular. If he continues to do this, especially towards Aang and consequently Katara, his brownie points may run out, and it will be that much harder for them to eventually forgive him.

5. Oppurtunities
The Hedge Witch
Card descrip.
The Hedge Witch reminds you that you can break free of entanglement in others' problems. As the age of the hedge can be told by what grows within, an old problem can be severed at the root.
A person or a group may respond well to your proposals. regardless of minor hurdles, victory will be yours.

Analysis: (my favorite one yet, I think.)
"you can break free of entanglement in others' problems." : Zuko, you don't have to get yourself involved in your family's war, whatever happened to choosing your own destiny? Go ahead and do it!
"As the age of the hedge can be told by what grows within, an old problem can be severed at the root." : I love this one. Zuko's oldest and biggest problem has always been his father. The fact that his honor was supposedly taken by his father still bothers him, even after he 'had it restored.' Now he's just worried about losing it again. Only by severing himself from his father, the root of his problems, once and for all, can he learn that he can move on and truly be free, and decide who's team he is really on. Only then can he honestly give himself to Katara.
"A person or a group may respond well to your proposals. regardless of minor hurdles, victory will be yours." : It will start with Katara, who has already seen the good in Zuko, and when he proves himself to be changed for the better, she will be the first to accept him(after of course slapping him around momentarily for betraying them in the first place...). Despite everything that has happened, Katara and the others will eventually accept Zuko when he decides to fight with them. The only thing is, they won't be minor hurdles, they'll be pretty big ones.

6. Obstacles
The Eye of Newt Witch
Card decrip.
The Eye of Newt Witch bestows a deadly glance on one she believes deserves it. 'Eye-blighted', her casualty suffers a run of bad luck or illness.
Most witches cast good spells, but it may be right to cast a spell on one who needs to be checked for continually doing wrong. This is a warning of great value: do not cast the evil eye. But you can turn your magic around to counteract one who wishes you harm.

Analysis: (I drew this as a second card to this slot; the first one was unworkable to the slot. This one fits so much better.)
"Most witches cast good spells, but it may be right to cast a spell on one who needs to be checked for continually doing wrong." : Katara is a good person, we know that. but when it comes down to obstacles in the future, forgiving Zuko will be one of the big ones. A little reprimandation is definitely in the works for our little firebender. This will be necesary for him to see just how badly he hurt her.
"This is a warning of great value: do not cast the evil eye." : While a little reprimandation is essential for future Zutara and Zuko/Gaang possibilties, it is also important that they, Katara as well, should not go overboard with it. Because then, Zuko would feel like even more of an outcast, and if he'd already severed ties with his father and sister, he'd feel like he really had no where to go. and we all know what happens when Zuko runs out of options! interesting and wrong decisions are made. He will need to realize all the pain he's caused, but he will also need support in his decision to join the fight on their side.

7. Outcome
The Changling Witch
Card descrip.
The Changling Witch is a magician of metamorphosis who empowers you to change your feelings and others' feelings toward you. She inspires you to reverse a situation by seeing it in it's entirety, reflecting the visible scene and its invisible emotions.
A direct opposite will occur, making you the winner.

Analysis: (I adore this card, I squealed when I turned it over^^)
"The Changling Witch is a magician of metamorphosis who empowers you to change your feelings and others' feelings toward you." : Hmm, here's the return of 'metamorphosis' that Iroh was talking about! Sooner or later, after things are said, forgiveness is given, and Zuko is changed, and even in the process of all of that, Katara and Zuko will return to the bond they formed in CoD. They will begin to feel more between them, friendship, and eventually something more(if my own predictions are correct.). Their bond will grow through out this series, and amount to something beautiful at the end.
"She inspires you to reverse a situation by seeing it in it's entirety, reflecting the visible scene and its invisible emotions." : Hoo, this one has Zutara written all over it. Once they are on good terms again, or perhaps even as a catalyst to them coming to terms, Katara will learn the truth behind Zuko's pain, the story of his father hurting him, Azula tricking him repeatedly in her thirst for blood and power, his mother's tragic and mysterious disappearence. Now with his story before her, she can finally understand Zuko completely. She will understand his conflict throughout their time of knowing each other. It will deepen their relationship.
"A direct opposite will occur, making you the winner." Zuko and Katara, Fire and Water. they will happen to each other, and they will both be winners in the game of love. They will also be winners against Fire Lord Ozai, together, and Zuko will have won his true honor back once and for all.
And us Zutarians will have won our long-awaited canon!
