The evolved elven female swam with a pouch draped around her side. Every once in a while she paused, eyes softening as she smiled into the bag. Still safe. As she swam she spoke lightly, directing her words to the object within the bag. It was small things: a comment about how the plants and fish worked together in balance here, or something about the flow of the currents there. Random knowledge, all useful, that would probably need to be told again.
Elanorriel hoped to meet a friend today. It had been a while since she had met & befriended Hideyoshi. Perhaps she would come across him today. It was a good day for it. The sun shining upon the waters made them pleasantly warm and bright, the tops of many of the corals sparkling in the refracted sunbeams. Elanorriel smiled as she neared the coral where she had met the male beta before. A new scattering of tiny white flowers had appeared. Softly, she began speaking to what was in the bag of this particular coral and the flowers it bore.

 Hide swam out of some coral bushes. He spun around in the water. "I wonder where he went". He turned his head and saw Elanorriel. "Hey long time no see" and he swam over to her "How have you been?"

A soft warm smile lit up her gentle face. "Ah. Hideyoshi. Im gelir ceni ad lín." The faintest flicker of a blush and Elanorriel repeated what she had said in Elvish. "I am happy to see you again. Doing well, actually, watching our new egg." Her clear blue gaze fell tenderly upon the bag she wore slung over her shoulder. A single beta egg was inside.
Her smiling eyes returned to her friend. "And you? Are you well? Have you found a singer for your friend's band?"

Hide smiled and looked at the bag "is it yours?" even if it wasn't Hide knew she would treat it like her own. "I am great, thanks for asking. No we haven't found anyone yet but Thoth has planned to met someone soon as a possible singer"

She gave a gentle smile, a pleased light touching her blue eyes. "That is good news. All of it." With a finger the evolved female gently stroked the egg with in her bag. "Lau. Her mother is from the same tanks as my tanksister Topanga however. We are blessed to have her to raise in our own. It is nice to have young around again. Even if not my own."
Her eyes looked up, finding those of her friend. "Do you still watch only the young of your tankmates, Hideyoshi?"

Yea for the most part, we have 5 little eggus right now. But none of them are my family.

Her elegant shoulders shifted with her gentle sigh, a soft look within her bright blue eyes. "I don't know why... but I had hoped you had found someone to compliment you, my dear friend." The smile Elanorriel offered held a glimmer of sadness with her honest affection for her friend. "But five eggs to watch. That is something to smile about. I think it would be hard to imagine five eggs at once. The most we ever had was two, when Jia YaHuo & Gaebor came to us. Of course Topanga had three each time she spawned, but she and her mate raise them in their own home so all are never in our tank at once."

((random: I was thinking, that they are close enough friends that should they ever both wish enough for fry of their own they could out of friendship have them together. just a thought. ^_^ /random))

((fastforwarding for new meeting 'cause it's hard to keep an old rp at the same timepoint after so long. *hugs* Also... I'll be rping Elanorriel in the outfit I plan to get for her, but because shells are kinda ooc for her. ))
the week after valentine's day 2008
The evolved female's smile was sweet and light as she followed after a blue and pink clownfish fry with a soft pink glow. One of 6 of her tankmates' valentine's offspring. A sweet, friendly femaly fry who seemed to adore nearly everything. She got along quite well with the beta who had been but an egg the last time Elanorriel had traveled to this particular spot. But that fry -Zigara- was off somewhere with her pet seahorse supposedly scoping out beta for a 'dark knight' for her 'friend' Malia -one of Yunalesca's offspring. The elven female shook her head with a soft smile at the thought, worried also that the well meaning 'match-maker' could quite likely get distracted by a beta of pink in the right hues.
"oooooo! Are these the flowers, Aunt 'Riel?" "Elanorriel please, Eruanna. And yes, they are." The little one giggled. "okay Aunt Elanorriel!"
Elanorriel watched with soft happiness as the little beta played near the flowers. Really, the only thing she shared with her tankmate Himgûl was that they would name their children using the Elvish language like their own names. She sighed heavily. Though I am unlikely to have any children it would seem...

Hide swam out of his tank to the little area he had met Elanorriel, he wondered how she was. Just then he saw a pink and blue clown playing in the flowers "Hello there, little one. I hope your not out here all on your own."

The baby squeaked and gave a brilliant smile to the stranger even as she swam a little backwards into the flowers as if shy. "Not alone!" Eruanna sang with soft happiness, pink eyes smiling as Elanorriel gracefully swam towards them. "I brought her, Hideyoshi." The fry blinked and smiled more at the happiness in her guardian's smile & eyes deciding that meant it was safe to swim out and give the strange male a hug. Well a beta baby hug. Which she did. Elanorriel laughed softly. "Im gelir ceni ad lín, my friend. I have missed you."

Hide looked from the fry to Elanorriel "I'm glad to know you are not alone, it is good to see you again, is she yours?" he looked done at the little fry who was now hugging him and he petted her on the head.

"No way, silly! I've none of 'Riel's colors... see?" Eruanna answered before her elder with a giggle. "Elanorriel, please, Eruanna." Pink eyes looked surprised. Oh! Had she forgotten again? Shyly the fry ducked her head sheepishly. "Oops. Sorry." "It's okay, little one. But no, Hideyoshi, she is not mine. Her father is Himgûl, one of my tankmates." She looked sad even as she smiled, watching the little one play about her friend. "I have never had young of my own. Only others'. What of you, my friend? How has life been for you?"

"Life has been pretty good, my parents had 3 more children, I'm not the youngest anymore. One of my nephews had his first set of kids with his mate so my family is pretty happy. I'm sorry you still don't have fry's of your own, I know you want them. I still do not have any children either, so we still have that in common" he smiled
