She had reached a new pride land, and could smell it’s borders easily. How ever, she was feeling particularly frisky today and gracefully moved deeper into the lands. It was full of life and from a first glance everything was moving smoothly, there must have been many kings in this land to allow it such flawless aspects. She stopped moving after she reached a bolder that jutted a few feet above the blades of grass. She looked over the horizon and then up to the clear blue sky. Nadra Zuri quickly resumed her pace towards the heart of the pride lands. This was a risky endeavor but it was one of those days where logic and common sense took a leave. Nadra was just a stranger…

 Tope was hunting by himself. He knew Jini absolutely loved Rabbits so-he was hunting for some. His family was deeper into the pridelands, where as Tope and Jini had taken refuge a good couple of miles away, before they could start their big journey. Tope was more than anxious but he was also a little scared... Jini sook revenge on a pride that seemed, huge and frighteningly bad. His father, the big masculine ball of fuzz he was, was petrified at the the thought of that pride... The firekin.
Though Tope did not know much, other than the Firekin are why Jini's mother died... and he never really got it out of her, but he supsected her father was just as useless as the firekin were. So, Tope was nervous... because, even though he was getting big... he couldn't take on a whole pride... but...
He loved Jini and he'd follow her where ever she went. He blinked his mothers pink eyes and tossed his, ever growing mane, out of his face. He trotted quietly, his eyes open for any sight of those fluffy yummy things for his love.
And then a blinding light came shooting into his eyes and he scrambled backwards startled. What he didn't know, was that the strange white females coat was so white, that it shown brightly. He shook his head, blinking dumbly. ((WTF DD smile ) Finally the form of the female came into veiw and he felt totally baffled. HOLY s**t A SHINEY LADY. Blarg. He scowled, standing up and shaking the dirt from his legs, though he didn't need too-being that he was the same color as the ground.

She’d almost missed him and then she quickly turned to face her opponent? She stood staring at him, not moving a muscle, ready to either run or attempt to squirm out of his grasp, perhaps this who ‘searching out the pride land’ was a bad idea. She felt her muscles tighten up ready to move in any direction she needed to too get away. She blinked, petrified of the thought that at any moment this lion could perhaps call out for help and bring harm to her. This wasn’t worth it, but how could she be so foolish to move at such a quick pace to leave out common sense to look and listen for possible harm. This wasn’t Nadra’s best idea ever…

Tope, stared... at this female that looked so petrified. He cocked his head, his mouth slightly agape. He sat down, looking at her for a moment. He was scarey apparently. He cocked his head, shutting his mouth and furrowing his eyebrows. Considering Tope had not really ever met any other females, except for that Zira... that girl from the pride lands... but...
He cleared his throat, standing back up and rolling his shoulders. Thats right, he was a big bad male... even though he was a few good months from being a full adult. He could mate, but... he and Jini were not ready for that... He shook his head, blinking again before he spoke. Sorry if I startled you miss... I didn't mean too. I don't know how these 'pridelanders' react to strangers, but I mean no harm. He said, motioning his head towards where he knew the rock was off in the distance... close to where his parents and siblings were. Speaking of which... he wished he could see Ardhi again. He missed his brother.
He stepped closer too her, a friendly smile on his face. I'm Tope. He said

Not so much petrified but worried for her well being, considering that she hadn’t known that he wasn’t from this pride, or at least not for to long any ways. This lion was young and had a fair bit of time left before he’d grow to an adult, but he didn’t have to be an immediate threat, but could call for reinforcement. Actually, this young male didn’t seem to even care that she was wandering about; sighing to herself she regained and recomposed herself. Nadra stood straight and walked towards him only a few steps and bowed her head, ”The apology goes both ways stranger, but I am sorry as well for nearly running into you…” Looking towards the giant rock jutting out of the ground off in the distance was probably the location where the lion king would probably be living and decided to stay away from there…
Tope spoke her name as she looked to the ground then back up to him with a small grin her soft voice reviled her name as well, ”I am Nadra Zuri” He wasn’t half bad after all.

Tope didn't care at all. He didn't care to see others really, unless they were a threat. Obviously this female was afraid of the same. But, for now he was not a threat-unless she totally stepped out of line or threatened Jini or something. He smiled a charming grin at her, trying to make her a bit more comfortable. It was nice to talk to someone every once and a while.
So he just nodded his head too her upon her appologie, even though there as nothing to even be sorry about. It wasn't everyday you almost ran into someone... but what ever. Tope shrugged.Eih, its not big deal. I should have been watching where I was going He said with a smirk.
He nodded and with another charming grin replied. Nice to meet you Nadra Zuri. I am sure you time in these lands won't be boring-theres all sorts of business people are butting into. So I'd watch your bussiness

She moved around him and started towards some random direction and took in the scents, then turned back to him with a grin as she gently sat down. Listening to him for a moment before flocking birds took her attention; her eye’s narrowed as the situation seemed a bit out of place. Standing up slowly her ears folded back listening to the surrounding area, then she spotted dust rising from the distance, just past the tree line, and the sound of thunder began to rumble beneath the ground. Looking at Tope for only a brief second before she took on a look of horror and screamed ”RUN!” Turning swiftly she began to sprint as fast as her legs could carry her. The tree line had been nearly crushed as a heard of elephants bolted from it’s cover. Stampede was the perfect word to use in this scenario. Weather he took off with her in that split second or not, Nadra would carry herself away from the danger with swift and nearly flawless reflex’s and speed.
This was a new way of meeting some one, only having a few seconds to pass names before her and the stranger would be bolting for their lives away from what would be a near death…
Whether he ran or found cover the elephants would only keep their stampede moving for only a few moments later before dispersing over the open area and slowing to a slow walk…

Tope wasn't sure why she have that funky look on her face, until he rose his head as well and spotted the dust. He stepped foreward, his head cocked. He blinked his pink eyes, slowly stepping backwards. Oh-no. He startled, turning around and running away from the stampede, his speed and stealth surprising for his age and size.
His heart beat and his feet padded the earth before-suddenly he was gone. Literally. It was as if the ground had dropped out from underneith him.
He had fallen into a ravine.

Nadra Zuri turned quickly just to see Tope fall off an edge, she gasped and as quickly as she could climbed down over to where he had landed. Her heart pounded, her mothering and nurturing nature quickly over came her and the only thing she wanted right now was to see what had happened to the young lion. He wasn’t her child, but the fact that this lion was still young enough to be some one’s baby…
She cried out desperately looking for him, ”TOPE!? Tope where are you!?” She reached the bottom of the ravine and her senses increased, being able to move around trees branches and logs without any extra effort, she made it look natural… Why did those animals charge them? Why did this happen to happen too the young lion?

Tope had landed with his a** end in the air, his front end stuck into muck-his paws all askew... and laughing. He could hear the thundering heard as it ran, the ground shook slightly. He wiggled himself from side to side, spotting Nadra from his mud clotted face. He twisted and made himself roll over, his hind legs stuck down in the mud now. Did you see that? He asked with a fit of giggles. He wiggled himself side to side until he could get a stable footing and shake-sending spatters of much all over. The beginings of his mane was stuck out in awkward positions and he was covered head to toe.
He hadn't had this much mud touch him since he was a cub. Fact was, Tope had barely lived at the swamps, where he knew he would have belonged... the mud, the water, the frogs... he knew he would have loved it. Oh, I'm alright Nadra... Just dirty He shouted too her.

Quickly running over to him, she was relieved to hear him chuckling, she smiled at the strange site, and then sat down watching him in amusement, if she was still single, she would have offered to clean him, but it was different now… It still took some getting used to, and at times, she thought that she wouldn’t be able to make the cut as a mate. How ever, now that she belonged to Sawa Nadra Zuri was a different lion. Still free, but now had some ground, and some one to call her protector.
A feminine giggle escaped her, as she watched him struggle from the mud and she wiggled slightly at the site of the lion getting his own ground again. ”Your face was priceless…” Chuckling still she padded over to get a better look, her gaze went up ward towards the small cliff where he had fell off, then listened as the herd became silent and still. Looking back down she smiled and took a few steps back away from the mud; Tope was a fun character…

Tope wasn't sure if he was supposed to take her comment as a compliment but he tried. He sneered-wiggled in the mud a bit more-making sure all his body parts were intact. He coughed, shaking his head so that small splats of mud sprinkled around and hopefully on Nadra. He stood up and looked around, trying to pinpoint where he might see a way out of this ravine. Though, he wished he could tell his mother about his adventures in the mud today-
She'd be very proud.
He made a face at Nadra, to make sure she knew what a priceless face looked like.

Watching Tope Nadra stared for a second more before she was sprinkled in mud, it was an obvious attempt to get her coat dirty, and the lioness growled deeply as she hoped back quickly. The hair on the scruff of her neck stood on end and the corners of her lips twitched with frustration, her once innocent form became hostel, he may have been bigger than her, but she could still out muscle him, then the face he made at her pushed her over the edge, she turned and began walking away, this stranger obviously out lived his welcome in her presence and she decided it was time to leave before she felt obligated to help this pathetic adolescence.
Without looking back she gracefully hopped from stone to stone to reach the top of the ridge, looking back to the other she only shook her head as she kicked a loose rock from it’s spot to destroy the way she had gotten out… he’d have to find his own way out, and with that turned and walked away. When the stones stopped tumbling only dust and a rough slide remained, how ever, the only thing that reached him was the rolling dust, the stones had nearly fallen strait down and wouldn’t roll towards him. Sure she was pissed, but it wasn’t enough to attack him or attempt to cause him any real physical harm.

Tope didn't know what was going on at first-staring at her as she walked away. He made an irritated noise in his throat-where did she get the nerve to act all lady like all of a sudden. She was the one who had been poking fun at him-saying his face was priceless and what not. He felt his lip curl and he understood why he loved Jini-cause she had a mind and was not worried about her coat being soiled. He just lay down in the muck, watching her disapear and heard the rocks tumbling. What a brat.
He stood up and went to where she had exited and he huffed at the sight, the way out all ruined now. What a jerk. He lifted his head and his lip curled more-as he looked back and forth from the muddy floor of the ravine and then back up. That was mature! He shouted, twisting around and starting to pace up and down, his pink eyes searching the walls for anyway up-but they were all so steep. He couldn't make it-being his size. What a total priss-she was seriously going to leave him down here because she got dirty-her paws were dirty just from coming down to laugh in his face. He snarled aloud, tossing his head. Females.
She was an adult and frankly, in his opinion should act as though. His mother didn't act all freaking stupid. His teenage hormones raged and he growled, sitting down at the bottom feeling totally moody and on edge.

The mature one, Nadra Zuri walked to the edge of the ravine once again and looked down to him, a small grin on her face, as she began to clean herself. He was the one that got physical, she wasn’t about to one up him because of some pride he felt he had and needed to keep in check. She already knew her place in the world, and lions like him where beneath her. Any one needing to get physical when there was no need was for ever seen as a child. How ever, he taunted her and she was already angry and he just kept pushing. She didn’t respond with words but simply cleaned herself and watching the lion, it was obvious who the alpha in this situation… And Nadra was only a female. ”pathetic…” She whispered to herself.
