I have discovered (after searching around this guild) that it is stereotypical for young teens to have awful grammar. I am 13 and proud of my status in the English language.
What is your input?
(One thing I don't like about Gaia is the fact it doesn't let you indent your paragraphs too easily. xp They should do something about that.)

I'm 13.75. While there are age-ist stereotypes, I think it's because our generation is incredibly ignorant. A few of us save our IQ from being "cabbage," but the rest... *le sigh*

The computer generation is notorious for learning to write in a chatroom, which is not a background conducive to proper speech/writing. Most of the time, young teens have horrific grammar. Thus, the stereotype.
Stereotypes OBVIOUSLY aren't true in every case. That's why they're stereotypes and not truisms or facts. Pointing out that you do not fall under this stereotype serves no purpose besides telling everyone your age.
And by the way, you can't have a "status" in the English language.
