If you got a request or a suggestion of some kind, or maybe you just wanna complain or give us your 2 cents.. go ahead and do so in here. This will help us to keep all the ideas together. Feedback is always good. Even if you don't like something please let us know.
I would like to be first to make a suggestion. Could we get more catagories or whatever they call it? Like maybe a
Old Farts Contests-
Old Farts Quizes-
Old Farts Polls-
those are just examples. Then we could keep the "home forum" for anouncements, sticky topics, and chitchat. It lends a professional organized feel to a place I think. I'd be more then happy to help donate towards these renovations xd

I agree as well. And a spam subforum might be fun eventually, too, because we all like to post nonsense every now and then XD

Subforums are a good idea, I'd been thinking of that myself. They cost 2500g each, and we have enough for two in the guild fund right now.
Should I make one for Contests, and one for games and quizzes in general?

Since we are only ready for two, I would vote for the Quizzes & Spam now and leave the contests out in the main page where they can be seen. Let the Contests Sub-forum come later. biggrin

I have a question for those of you who still read this thing: what should I do about the members who haven't been active in a long time? Boot them? Or leave 'em alone? A lot of them joined and never ever posted anything after they joined. o_O; Honestly I don't see the point of being a member of a guild you're not contributing to. Or maybe I'm just old and bitter. wink Anyway, some feedback would be nice.
OH! And, our 1st birthday will be coming up! Whee? (okay, it's not summer yet, but it will be! xD) Any suggestions on a special event-type thing for that would be nice, too, I'd like to start planning it somewhat in advance. =D Contests and giveaways and such could help us get new members, too.

Oh people do that in all the guilds. rolleyes They must collect guilds on their My Guilds pages like medals or something. Up to you if you boot 'em, but you'll have a tiny guild if you do. Some folks are just lurkers, y'know.
I say let's have another costume contest! lol Or maybe even a Homes contest (is the editor still out of whack?)!

I dunno about the Homes editor, I don't think I've tried to use it since it was first released. xD What kind of theme do you think would work for an Anniversary costume contest?
And, I wouldn't just boot people; I'd send out a mass PM first so if there are lurkers, they'd have a chance to say something and not get booted. I just get a little flustered seeing our member count, and I can count on one hand how many people are actually posting anything regularly.

More active members,
better organization of where to post threads,
More interaction with the staff that should be active- getting members of the guild involved.
If you want to hold contests- the only people who should be eligible to win are those who are active, not someone who just joined or a old member who was never active.
I've seen in other guilds people do that and leave afterwards.
