I was just browsing on SM site and here's what i found! It's now officially in pre-production! Here's the details from Stephenie Meyer's brother:

We still do not have any news about auditions, but we will update as soon as we have any information. (In case you have forgotten, neither Stephenie nor myself can "get you a spot in the movie" or "put in a good word for you," so please don't ask). The following descriptions of characters show what the casting people will be looking for:

[ISABELLA (BELLA) SWAN] - Caucasian, 17, a natural and accessible beauty with ivory skin and long brown hair.

[EDWARD CULLEN] - Caucasian, 17, boyish, lanky with un-tidy bronze colored hair and pale luminous skin. He's the most stunning of the Cullen boys. He is inwardly turned, quiet, mysterious and dangerous.

[JACOB BLACK] - Native American, 15, long, glossy black hair and a baby-face. He is an amiable guy who befriends Bella when she first moves to town.

YAY! Oh, I hope that some of the people I want will be casted for the parts.
Wow! And they're gonna film in Vancouver? What ever happened to Forks? -__-

Vancouver has the filming studios. Did you know that they did the voice recording of Inuyasha in Vancouver?

I was just talking to my friends yesterday that I was annoyed that Stephenie's tours never included the west side of Canada.
And so to have the movie filmed in the city I live in is pretty damn cool!!

ahahahaha! its like you sneak in and when they ask you who u are it's like, "me? Oh...uhhh...I'm the stunt double....yea....xD" and then you go off to stalk like steven strait or something...xD

Lol, well I've been to a couple of studios before. My parents work right across the street from where they shoot the show 'Smallville'. And most of the time you can go in there and watch the filming. So hopefully it'll be like that haha
