well yeah... here is how the story goes...
there is this girl, who was to be married to a guy. [pre-arranged]
the girl knew this, but soon fell in love with another guy[1]. now as time went on the love between the two grew even more. until one day, the girl told the guy[1] that she had to leave... and she wasnt sure if she might ever come back.
and the guy[1] answered... that no matter how long, he will wait...
so he waited... and soon found that it was too unbearable.... so he somehow found the girl... and asked her why she left... and she wouldnt tell him... she wouldnt say anything...
so he kept asking, to find the real reason. finally, the girl told him one day... and his world came crashing down... the girl, loved both of them equally, but because of the differences of their lifestyle, they could never be... she was better off with her pre-arranged fiance.....
so this guy[1], decided that he will stay and support her as much as he can... and TRY to become friends with her future husband... but the other guy[2] never said anything... never talked... just ignored him...
so he just continued to be himself... he talked to the girl... and the love for her continued to grow. this went on for a pretty long time, until one day the girl said she was leaving her current place and going back to where she was before [where the guy[1] first met her]...
she seemed really upset but didnt tell him why....
after a while... she told him[dude 1]... that their families broke the marriage deal due to problems.... but also because she was talking to her ex too much....
now the guy feels devastated...

so what should he do?

I am having trouble following which guy is which. Why not go back and call them guy 1 and guy 2? that will make it a lot easier to read.
