So I'm sure you've heard the schoolyard song Miss Susie (or Hello Operator, depending on where you're from). If you haven't....you probably never skipped much rope. Here's a link to the original lyrics. http://www.gameskidsplay.net/jump_rope_ryhmes/jump_miss_susie.htm

But I've been thinking lately that this song needs it's own lyrics for Halloween. I've started on a few verses, but I can't think of anything else to put in. So I wanna try this like a game. There are a few verses I've written below. The poetry scheme is ABAB, then the first line of the next verse completes the final line in the preceding verse. Make sense? Have fun!

"Miss Lucy had a cauldron,
She cast some magic spells.
The devil paid a visit and he
Took her straight to....

Hello mister monster,
You're quite a lovely host
To parties in my room at night
To cheer up all the....

Ghosts are in the graveyard,
And roses in the morgue.
The graves are squished together
So that we can bury...."

YOUR TURN!

Clever. I can't think of anything though. At least for the moment.
