Yes, apparently Dir en grey has MORE tourdates in Europe [BEWARE, THIS IS A RANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!] , so this only concludes one thing: Dir en grey hates America and would rather neglect and ignore their other fans to please those in Europe and Asia. Needless to say, I am an American fan who has never and apparently WILL never get to see dir en grey live because some idiotic non-fans paid for tickets they didn't want and ruined all the concerts so now I will NEVER be able to see them live. Don't I feel special? Why didn't I go to the American concerts if I wanted to see them so bad? Because one was in a city 4 hours away and the other no one wanted to go with me so I wasn't allowed. Lucky me...I'm just PO-ed that they don't even seem to care that other fans are suffering because of their infatuation with Europe! I mean, I have nothing against European fans (I have friends who live their and I know diru's decisions aren't their fault) but it just seems so unfair that Dir en grey would rather tour every province in Europe rather than play ONE more concert in America, so that the only way I'd EVER be able to see them was if I somehow got a fake ID that says I am 18 to somehow buy a plane ticket with all the $0.00 I have and SOMEWAY get to a city in Europe to watch a concert with all the $0.00 I have left. Of course, that way I would have to abandon my family and be stranded in a country where I have no relations to either be starved and homeless or be raped and killed by a drunkard. As fun as that sounds, I'd rather Dir en grey (and I hate to say this) just suck it up and take care of fans that live somewhere other than Europe...[End rant]

SO! I suppose you want to see that schedule now! Voila:

TOUR07 DOZING GREEN - Europe Tour (full list)

I totally agree with you!!

Dir en grey must hate the US, and so they don't come here and us American fans suffer. scream

Last time they came to the US, when they went to San Fransicso I couldn't get tickets and I had no way to the concert since San Fran is about 300 miles away gonk

I feel your pain cuz the same happened to me. I'm not old enough to drive myself and even though one concert was like 45 minutes away from my house and tickets were still available for a long time for cheap, I still couldn't go stressed

The reason they are avoiding the US might be the fact that some Deftones and Korn and whatnot fans kept on calling them names and throwing stuff at them. I wouldn't want to perform in a country where people are so disrespectful either...but that's just my opinion and it shouldn't suggest they won't tour the US again. I think they will. But I mean, c'mon, you guys had Family Values, Inward Scream, and the Deftones shows...whereas they didn't perform in Europe ('cept Berlin 2006) since 2005!

Dir en grey will probably go to the US again, they're just touring other places first. Just be patient.
And as PrivateLeesh said, except for Berlin, the US got to see Dir en grey first.

And why not?

That's just circular logic that doesn't prove anything

Well, all of those tours they were hosted by American bands so they wouldn't really get a good greeting, considering opening bands in america are, like, usually really new and REALLY bad, so the fans jumped to conclusions. We've only had one tour where they were alone while Europe had two back-to-back, so I'm really not being impatient by being upset confused

So... Dir en grey aren't allowed a European tour?

Right...

Every other band in the world does European tours withOUT going to the US... 'cos the US ain't in Europe... and I SUCK at Geography xd

@ PrivateLeesh: LOL! I hope you had a very good day now! rofl xd

... Nobody in this thread ever said they aren't allowed a European tour.
We just find it oddly convenient that this is the first tour in a while that they've played on that hasn't come here.

But what I was saying is, all you said was a statement that fit this logic pattern:

They are avoiding us
Why?
It's not a US Tour
Why?
They are avoiding us

See? Circular logic, doesn't prove anything, thank you.

Children, don't fight. I'm sure they will return to the US. Still; US fans shouldn't think that just because there was Inward Scream, Diru is only allowed to start an overseas tour in the US, right?
PostPosted: Fri Sep 28, 2007 10:05 am

I meant it in sarcasm XD

Not like the way you put it, I meant that maybe they just aren't going to the US in this tour BECAUSE it's not a US tour...

I only used the termonolgy 'Another reason they might be avoiding the US' is because everyone was using that term...

Like, they don't go to Germany doing a US tour do they?

But when you say 'We just find it oddly convenient that this is the first tour in a while that they've played on that hasn't come here.' That just supports the arguement that MAYBE, they want to go to OTHER places than the US :S

(Btw I hope I'm not getting in an arguement with you sweatdrop )

Maybe I'm portraying my argument the wrong way.

We've been included in other tours, but now they're back to where they were in 2004 or so. Only touring in Europe and Japan.

I just want some inclusion of all three continents, you know? I'm not trying to say they should only come here. I wanna see them more than once in a decade (Atlanta is not a common target for bands like that-- they skipped us on Family Values '06, the Deftones, and now this one)
