Hello there.
My muse has been crying out for a M*A*S*H* trivia game thread somewhere, and this is the only place I know that would appreciate it.
I've been a fan of trivia threads of various types, and thus I'm making the following groundrules for how the thread works. (The guild rules still apply as always, of course.)
A) No cheating. No looking up the answer anywhere, no replaying the episode if you have it recorded in any format, of any kind. The exception is if it's aired on television during the little window the question's posted, that's fair and "the whims of fate." You can watch THAT and then answer the question. If you look up the answer, you must step aside in answering it, and can't add more clues to the question (unless the questioner has vanished and can't add any if they want to.)
B) Be fair to everyone. If you know ALL the answers, let the others get a chance to answer some of them. I'd recommend a 48-hour headstart to let the regulars get a chance. Feel free to pm the questioner the answer if you MUST signal you know it-this won't deprive the others of a chance to answer as well.
C) Two questions at a time. Please only have one question per post, with 2 questions up, not 3 or more. Otherwise, it gets confusing.
D) Quote the question in your answer. This makes it easy to follow the thread and indicate if the answer is correct.
E) Questions should be "fair". By that, I'm defining "fair" as "a normal human who watched the episode could reasonably expect to be able to answer the question if he was asked it right after seeing it." Questions only on the tv show, please, and only on what was aired.
F) Those answering a question-once it's confirmed correct-get first chance to post the next question. Or, they can say they're passing it to me, and I will post another question.
I think that's everything. (Yes, these are all based on experience.)
Ok, first 2 questions coming up...

Steel Sterling NEW QUESTION! What's the correct spelling of Dr Sidney Fr**dman's last name, as stated by a character in an episode? Please give the name of who spelled it, or who had a problem spelling it and asked the other. It's Freedman, and Flagg had a problem spelling it. He asked if it was e-i or i-e and Sydney retorted with something equivalent to 'ee as in freedom' Good question!

Sidney always acted the professional around Flagg, which made Flagg just look worse. Thanks for answering. My muse has been feeling neglected. xd

I have one for you though- What is the name of the younger woman with whom Henry was having an affair (one particular episode, not the movie).

Steel Sterling NEW question! Someone once had Radar send a coded message. Give any part of the message. Ok, I'll clear out this question. "Mary had a little lamb, stop. My dog has fleas, stop. Mairzy doats and dozey doats and I'll be home for Christmas." "Sign it 'Your loving son, Queen Victoria.'" That was Colonel Flagg's message. When Captain Stone saw it, his comment to Hawkeye was "He knows I'm here." "How do you know that?" "I'm Mary." "Well, I hate to tell you this, Mary, but your dog has fleas."

Steel Sterling NEW question! Dr Klein at the 4077 was shown prominently in several episodes. What was he doing? (It wasn't medical.) I'll clear this one, also. Dr Klein was named in one episode, but he appeared at the beginning of several episodes. He was the doctor playing the guitar and singing. "Oh, Tokyo. Oh, kimono. You got some sake and sashimi and some clean sheets oh, kimono!" He did that song a few times, actually. He was introduced, passed out, after a party, cradling his guitar. "That's Klein. Eye, ear, nose and guitar."
