Welcome to the General Discussion (GD)! Here you are welcome to converse about pretty much anything. Please remember that all guild and Gaia rules apply, so don’t think, just because it is open, that this is the place to break the rules. Please keep in mind that this is a place for open discussion and OOC (Out of Character) talk. Any RPing should be carried out in the main subforum, which is designated for RPing.

Maaaaaan, things are empty here. 8D;; Anyway, I'd like to get things started in these little subforums!
So, I'd like to see what the general opinion on setting up, like... a Vistorian- or Elizibethian-era RP here -- with the gowns, the frills, coat tails and the ruffs... all that good stuff! 8D And potentially witchcraft. <3
Anyway, I want to know if anyone wants this before I start doing research for it. So yeah, let me know! xD

Should this be in the IT thread? I thought that was supposed to be more rp ideas and stuff...
Personally, I think that would be cool but it could turn out pretty girly and stiff if not done properly. I think that would definitely require a lot of research for sure. I don't think I'd participate because I'm not too familiar with that time period and I'd have to do research on it which I have no time for.

Yes, it should be. But it's not. Ohwell. 8D;;;;;
Yeah.... I don't know. I was all enthusiastic about it earlier, but I'm losing my momentum due to various things. *coughSCHOOLcough* Anyway, I probably won't make it because of the amount of research required..... However, I am sorely tempted to make a Philup Pulman RP. I tried to make one before in YE, but the books weren't well-known enough for it to succeed..... Ironically, this new burst of so-called inspiration was born from the movie, which I think was... well-maid except that it made me super mad because they made the religious aspects of the book, which were before a lot subtler, very pronounced. And they ******** ended the movie incorrectly. I was sosososososo looking forward to the ending image of Lyra walking into the pretty lights and the Aurora n' crap but.... they ended with "I'm bringing Daddy what he needs![/foreshadowing of evil events to come] 8DDDDD <3"
Butyeah. ninja

I don't think you would've felt it since you are in Texas, but it was big for the midwest, you know? (5.4) It was in Illinois so it wasn't too bad in Ohio but it still woke me and my roommate up instantly. We were like, "What is going on?" XD

Sounds interesting.
I've only been in one earth quake before and that was when I was in Japan.... It was a really minor one, tho. O:

5s aren't really too bad, they'll knock unsecured stuff off of shelves and whatnot but that's about it. We only got probably like a 2 or a 3 and it was only vibrating the bed/room all crazy like. X< It was weird.
