Luxa leaned down on Nike's neck, watching the empty blackness pass under her eyes, just how she liked it.

"Here we are." Nike cooed.
Luxa looked over her candle lit city.
"It feels good to be back." She whispered to Nike.
"Yeah, I'll bet." Said a voice as Nike flew closer. Luxa looked up in suprise.
"Gregor?"
He nodded, smiling broadly.
Luxa jumped nimbly from Nike's back into Gregor's arms.
"I missed you so bad!" She cried.
"And me you." Gregor replied.
His little sister boots waddled out from the door.
"Princess!" She exclaimed, running as fast as her little legs would carry her up to Nike. She spotted Allie, "Hey you!" She exclaimed, waving a hand.

"You Princess?" Boots asked quizzicly. She took a step forward, lost balance, and fell over.
"Hey Boots." Luxa smiled, picking her up.
"Nice to meet you, Allie." Gregor smiled, extending his hand.

Luxa's whole face turned pink as she blushed.
Gregor grinned.
"And who would have thought that some day you would start caring."
"Shut up!" Luxa snapped, giving him a playful punch on the shoulder.
Gregor laughed.
"Gregor, she princess?" Boots asked.
"Umm, I don't know Boots." Gregor replied, picking her up, "Are you?"

"Ha!Wasn't my cousin something like that?" Luxa asked, pretending to think hard for a distant memory.
"Yeah, Henry was ready to turn us all over to the gnawers back when we were at war with them."
"Yeah, and our little Rager here thought jumping off a cliff would be the best way to be hero." Ripred snarled in sarcasm.
Gregor looked over his shoulder.
"Well, it did work out in the end, Ares saved me. . . didn't he. . ."
Ripred put his tail on Gregor's shoulder, "He's dead now Gregor, and you don't have a new bond. There's no one to save you this time if you fall."
"I will." Nike purred.
"Shut up Nike." Ripred snapped.
Nike glowered at him.
"Do not tell me to shut up, Ripred." She said coldly.
"Oh my bad your highness." Ripred replied in a mock apology.

"Wow.....It's just like my family reunion. When i was younger my parents were trying to lead a rebellion, and they almost succeeded until they were mysteriously killed, then a few years later my grandfather mysteriously died also. So that's how my uncle or as i call him the old fart became king."Allie told them a short version of her life story.
