When it comes to the subject of domination (worldly) there are certain things you have to have prepared before you try to threaten those in power. The first one is of course to have more power than them. Getting the power then becomes high priority.
So this explains why for countless months and weeks I looked through every book I could find that had anything to do with weapons, spells, beings, what have you, to use to dominate. I have yet to find anything worthwhile when someone started knocking on my door.
I said, "The importance of your intrusion should be very high indeed." There was a quiet for a while which irked me. "Who is it?" Again no answer. I quickly got up and walked over to the door, taking one of my swords in my hand for added menace.
I swung the door open and extend the sword at about neck level. I said, "When I ask-" I stopped then when I was aware there was no one at neck level. There was however someone at foot level and they looked to be in what I'd honestly say as an unfit state. "1337, you're bleeding on my good carpet. Stop it."
There was a mumble that sounded something like "sorry boss." I put my sword away and contacted Kazu.
Kazu. Get down to my study would you?
Okay.
I looked down at 1337 again and shook my head. About that time Kazu approached. I never could figure out which gender Kazu was so I use the pronoun 'she' with a very light 's' so you can either pretend you don't hear it or not depending on your own idea.
Before she could ask I said, "No, I didn't hurt him but I was about to. Take care of him would you? Figure out what happened if you can."
She nodded, "Someone hurt him."
"Yes that was my first guess. What I want to know is why."
She dragged him away and I went back to my desk and flipped a few pages without much thought. I stared at the page for a while and I do believe I grinned very big.

Kazu sent a message while I was studying the passages. 1337 suffered from three stab wounds to his torso and arms. No doubt from the administration's police force. I've told people not to wander around or near the Gaia Adminstration Enforcers or GAE. These guys have been hounding me and my guild for months. Apparently trying to take over the world is not something they like. Go figure.
I finished my notes and after memorizing what I wrote burned them and hid the books. I don't like leaving too much behind. If something goes wrong the less evidence against me the better; like it'd matter at this point but call it habit.
I reached out to Clubanimon.
Have everyone present in the meeting hall in ten minutes.
Shall I have coffee and biscuits too or is this business?
No one in this guild needs coffee. Business of course.
I broke contact and set about prepareing a speech then lost interest and threw darts for a while.
Nine minutes later I was in the meeting hall and standing in front of my chair with everyone else in their places around the great table. I really wished I had some background music to set the mood.
I said, "Hi."
They blinked.
Maybe I should have wrote the speech after all.

I cleared my throat then looked around. "Who are we missing?"
Kazu said, "1337. He's in the infirmary."
"That's no excuse. Get him. He needs to hear this and I hate repeating myself."
Destructo said, "What?"
"I'm not falling for that." And I pushed a button under my side of the desk. A needle shot from the table and jabbed into Destructo's arm.
"Ow." He toppled out of his chair with a thud. I grinned at Club.

1337 was rolled in on a stretcher with an IV hanging next to it. I knew he was awake, his eye twitched at me.
I started, "You're probably wondering why I brought you all here. Well you can stop now because I'm going to tell you right about..." Destructo wobbly leaned back into his chair and sat dizzily. "Now."
