SETTING: FOREST AT NIGHT/OUTSKIRTS OF FOREST

Dum-di-dum, dum-di-dum! -twirls into Neverland- x3

Lexians tail flicked behind him bristled some... How could he have gotten lost!? He had CLEAR Directions! It's not possible ~ He was to good for this... Sighing he leaned against a nearby tree, his ears back though he listened to the night noises from insects and animals...

Sighing he slid down the trunk and yawned... He should have just stayed home ~

Pale blue eyes followed the boy through the foliage of the trees, intrigued that someone was wandering the forests at night like this. It had happened before, but not when anyone was alone like this. His tail flicked absently at the air as he proceeded to scheme what he was going to do about it. Although he was nowhere near territorial, it wasn't every day that someone wandered into the forest while he was here.

He smirked slightly, figuring that he should at least see what he was up to. He creeped lower to the grassy floor, still cradled by the branches but gaining a better look. He was definitely different from anyone else he had seen, but he hadn't ever really seen very many people. And he seemed to be a little panicked... lost, maybe? Or being chased? Thought he wasn't in any huge rush, so...

Trying to decide a course of action, he shrugged and decided to cut the guy a break. He seemed frazzled enough as it was, and Yu was feeling a bit generous tonight. He made a leap for the ground before flipping, raising his arms out as a black cloud of smoke appeared beneath him, billowing up to cushion his fall, dissipating immediately as his feet touched the floor. His training was really paying off; after all, he was now able to cast support spells instead of just offensive ones.

Striding nonchalantly up to the tiger-boy, his footsteps falling almost silently as if he were stalking his prey, the dark feline spoke up without hesitation. "Looks like you're lost. You must be new around here, because I don't get many visitors out here so late at night." His voice came almost eerily, but perhaps that was just Yubikiri's plan.

The tiger nearly jumped out of his skin as he heard the voice. Scrambling up he turned and looked at the new comer, his hand over his heart. "Good god! Give alittle warning!"

His bright green eyes easily penetrated the dark and were vibrant, hard to miss... They filled with mild suspicion at the other feline, his striped tail flicked behind him.

"As a matter of fact, I am new around here. And I seem to have taken the wrong trun somewhere..." Ears flicking, Lexian watched the cat cautious. "Do you happen to know the way back towards civilization?" He wasnt all that comfortable being with the other considering he was a bit... odd to his senses... Made his tail tingle.

Yubikiri snickered at Lexian's reaction, always liking the idea of catching someone off-guard. His reaction was just what Yubikiri was looking for, and now feeling accomplished he came further into view under the bright moon. His smirk was still visible on his face, but something else was pulling at it, perhaps a bit of an apology. He grabbed the brim of his hat lightly and tilted it in greeting, introducing, "My name's Yubikiri Yuigon. I'd expect someone who didn't know where they were would be more alert than that about their surroundings, but I don't know what kind of night you've had so I really have no say in the matter."

Those green eyes were definitely something, almost too bright for a normal eye color but the shadow-cat could see that they were real. Almost mystical in a way, seeing as he knew most white tigers in the wild had blue eyes, but then again he always looked to magic for his answers. If he went solely by the books, he knew they'd say he should have been deaf. It was fun to defy the specialists...

"Thought so," he stated flatly at the mention that Lexian was lost, but his smile was not one to rub it in. It was obvious he had a conflict with the tones of his voice and his actions, but could also just be plain confusing. "Civilization is everywhere. The forest is a pretty big place, being conserved and all that, but there are homes all around it. Depends on how far you want to go to get to that civilization," he explained with a wave of his hand at the air, having fun stalling. He could tell that the other wasn't really comfortable around him, but then again, Yu wasn't sure if anyone truly ever was. He'd have to ask his mentor that someday.

Frowning slightly, lines creased the others face... "That's lovely. Im Lexian..."

The tiger was NOT all that happy about the others delays that he was giving him. Crossing his arms across his chest he shifted his weight to one hip and looked at the other feline point blank... "You arent going to tell me or help me are you...? I suppose I shall get a move on then. Im bound to end up somewhere at sometime..."

Mussing up his hair as it was supposed to he sighed looking left and right... Ehh... Maybe he'd stay put... But, then he'd have to stay with the crazy cat... Either way his situation sucked...

"Pleasure to meet you, Lexian," Yu stated, rather flatly, not a tone to say whether he was being sarcastic, formal, or if he really did find it nice to meet him; his eyes, which weren't focused on the tiger, didn't help in discerning it either.

He snickered at Lexian's reaction to his answer, watching without speaking a word as he tried to determine where he was to go from here. "That's not going to help you, you've traveled pretty deep in," he tried to help quicken Lexian's thought process with a mild statement. "Try to exercise a bit of patience there, Lex. Unless you're in a rush or being chased by something, right?" he smirked, striding over to the tiger. "I will help you, if you allow me to. Understand here that I don't know where you want to go, so I can't very well direct you accurately." Yes, this wasn't exactly true, but what fun was it to just tell one where to go? They'd be gone in moments, especially since he wasn't the easiest person to get along with, so why not delay that reaction?

"Why be patient? Im not a patient tiger..." His tail flicked as he shifted slightly to the side, making sure to have a little more than arms length between him and the other. "If you're going to help, why stall so much? As for where Im going, how specific am I supposed to be with you? I dont even know you."

Looking around he frowned.. Sadly, he hated to admit it, the other was right. They were pretty far in... How he had ended up here was almost to nearly impossible. Holding out a piece of paper to the other he spoke with little to no emotion. "Im going here. Club Crimsyn. Im meeting someone... Well..." Looking around he sighed, "Im supposed to anyways..."

Yu snorted to Lex's reply on his own patience, countering with a simple, "Heh, I noticed." However, if he had been the patient type, it wouldn't have been as much fun and Yu himself might have gotten bored with this game of his own accord and gone through with another approach which, in all respects, would probably not have ended very well.

The tall cat ran a hand through his blonde hair as he glanced out into the distance, his eyes weaving through the trees. "You really don't have to be all that specific, just maybe a general area. It's really up to you how specific you want to be, but any particular building or anything in the city, for example, I probably wouldn't be able to find. I don't go in there very often, to say the least," he smirked, turning back to the tiger as he finished. His gaze was intense, as if he was trying to evaluate Lexian or predict what his answer would be to what Yu had just said. In a way it could be a little unnerving, but with such limited light under the canopy of the trees overhead it was possible they weren't so noticeable.

However, he hadn't much longer to inspect the tiger before he gave in. Yubikiri tilted his pointed hat back with a push of his thumb on the brim, leaning in to look at the directions. "Well, to be fair, they're not very good directions. Out that way can get a little complicated, more so than these directions portray. However, you are waaay off-course," he snickered at the last part, feeling just a liiiittle amused on the matter. "That area of the city is so noisy! I usually don't like going down there, but if you want I can show you. I've been down there a few times, just out of curiosity."

"I live in the city... it's where I thrive..." His tail flicked slightly as he glanced at the feline, his green eyes showing his obvious impatientness at being led farther astray as he spoke. "Will you show me? For real? Or are you going to lead me in zigzags and confuse me even more?"

He hated being jerked around, it was so annoying and it wasnt worth his precious time. He lived on city time, always moving, lived for the nightlife.

Yubikiri's smirk never faltered under the threatening gaze Lexian shot him, but his eyes at least gave confirmation to the tiger's impatience. He leaned back, away from the piece of paper Lexian had pulled back and thought -- or at least seemed to be thinking -- of the situation-at-hand. Perhaps he was coming up with a more ridiculous plan to stall as they went on their way, or maybe he was just trying to remember how to get there; if he even had a truly loyal friend, they probably couldn't have guessed accurately. Yu was just too confusing.

The shadow cat decided against copping out against Lexian's remark about the city and remained silent for a bit, wandering off through the dense forest a bit as he expected the tiger to follow. After a moment or two left of silence, Yu finally responded with a simple, "I guess you'll just have to find that one out for yourself, hmm?" His voice was intimidating, but his mind had been clear. He already knew that if he led Lexian astray, the boy would realize it sooner than later and be off on his own, so he decided to just go for it. He enjoyed fooling with people's minds and instincts at times, but he knew when he had to stop, lest it become too dangerous. He knew it wasn't a good idea to let Lexian wander around the forest if he had no idea which direction was even north.

However, these thought processes were nearly invisible in his expression, his posture, or even the way he acted. He wasn't used to expressing these things so openly, so his good intentions could very well be in vain if Lexian decided not to trust him. However, he couldn't do any better; it just wasn't who he was. With this in mind, he added, "You really have no choice but to trust me on this. After all, there's nobody else around to help you, and I doubt you can get on the right track again until you've gotten used to the forest itself." His tone was serious, but by now it was obvious his tone meant nothing in any situation so far. He knew it might have sounded quite suspicious to be saying such a thing, but he honestly couldn't come up with a better formation of words to make it sound less... creepy.

Lexian was a bit on the pessimistic side of things. Scrunching his knose his eyes narrowed slightly at Yu not very happy with the predicament he found himself in. At the reply he received he wasnt at all happy about it, but he merely frowned.

Without realizing it, the tiger found himself following the other feline, ears back slightly as he stepped cautiously through the dark. Of course he had his own keen night vision, but only to a certain extent.

Looking up suddenly as if shocked his ears perked at the last bit of the reply. He couldnt control his tail from poofing up a bit, and a shiver ran down his spine. What in the 7 hells had he gotten himself into!?

The tiger dropped his gaze once again, his tail and ears drooping, looking almost pathetic. "I know that ~" He sighed. He was all bark but barely any bite as it seemed his 'barking' was being drained from himevery second he stayed in the forest so he silently followed the others lead.

Ears twitching, Yubikiri was able to sense Lexian's panicking, though he found it quite admirable he was able to keep the tone out of his voice. Even though the tiger was giving in, he could tell that he was strong-willed in other respects. After all, he was able to stand up to Yu, and not many people have been able to do such a thing.

Huffing out a sigh, he began speaking again, "You know, you came out pretty far. You're lucky you were found by anyone at all. How long have you been out here, anyway?" He was trying to be supportive, but support and him never really came across well. He didn't want Lexian to lose hope, especially since Yubikiri had decided to lead him to where he wanted to go, but the shadow cat already knew well enough already that he was a difficult person to believe. Sometimes he would wonder himself...

The tigers tail flicked slightly as he glanced up before looking back down... How long had he wandered? "Probably close to two hours now..." He admitted defeated. What an absurd thing.. A tiger getting lost in a forest. He heaved out his own sigh ears flicking a bit, gather sounds of the trees and others things around.

He'd pretty much dismissed the part of 'you're lucky you were found at all' seeing as it wasn't something much to be dwelled upon. Once again he looked up, deciding maybe he should be a bit more... social towards the other? "Do... you live out here?" He asked curious, not really sure he wanted to know or not, seeming as the others answers were closer to riddles or ghost stories.
