Sunlight shone bright down from the heavens upon the lands of Hesperides, but not bright enough to make the land extreamly hot. Fair weather graced the plains and forrests, with sweet and cool wind blowing accross them. Willow trees, Sycamores and Pines cast their shade over the lusious green grass and the Minya who were laying under them.
A breeze ruffled the multicolored fur of a female as she lay quitely under a shaded tree. This female was bored out of her wits on this certain day, since Aeriel was not here to keep her company. Yawning as her green eyes scanned her surroundings, the female flicked her ears back and forth just listening.

Kalani slowly ran about the trees, enjoying the breeze blwoing about his fur and flowing through it. His soft wings fluttered very slightly as he ran and suddenly he screeched to a halt causing him to slip and crash right into the object he had attempted to avoid. An Adult Minya!

The force that had hit into her side nearly caused her to roll unwillingly to the left, but Evande was able to steady herself just in time. Groaning slightly the splotchy Minya pulled herself up from the near face plant to look at the villan who had knocked her off her block. But the little purple male caught her of gaurd expecailly his wings... Blinking, Evande twitched her nose slightly.

Kalani trembled a bit with fear at the Minya's groan and immediatlye put his head so low it nearly touched the ground and apologized, feeling himself flush immensely. "I really am sorry miss, I'm still getting used to this new world, everything is so new to me!" He said somewhat sadly.

Grinning slightly, Evande placed a paw upon the male kick's head and ruffled the fur on top of his cranium. Somehow this young boy reminded her of Aeriel... maybe it was the way that they were both younglings, scared and confused when she happened upon them. But the little male's wings fasinated her to a great extent.
"Eh. Its alright little one, I know you didn't mean too. Now perk up and give me a smile, enough of this being sad."

Kalani trembled softly and tensed as her paw touched his forhead but as he felt his fur being ruffled, he found it relaxing and enjoyable. His wings fluttered slightly in response to the sensation. And he gave the red, black and white female a sheepish grin.

"Anyways. Where is your mother or father? You aren't out here all on your lonesome are you?" Taking her paw off of the kit's head, the dark red female yawned slightly before flicking her tail to and fro. "Oh and by the way my name is Evande. But if its easier you and call me Ede... no calling me Miss please. I'm not that old."

"My mother and father? They're at my home hehe. With my other brothers and sister. And naah I like to explore places, but I usually have some sort of axiden happenen to me." He said happily. "Evade?" He said to himself gingerly, no that wasn't right. "Evan..?" Nooo. He thought. "Evand?" He asked with a tilt of his head and wide-eyed.

Laughing merrily at the feathered male as he tried to say her name, Evande responded to his attempts. "Ede. Its a whole lot easier many have found." Itching a scratch at the base of her neck, the red and black female inspected her free paw. "So you're one of Ayleen and Falcon's kits correct? I've met your mother once I believe."

"Ede." He said happily at getting it right. Talking could be so tricky sometimes. "Yeah Falcin is my daddy and Yayleen is my mommy. I love them! And really? Cool! So whass that make you my cousin?" He asked wide-eyed.

"No little man. I'd be a friend of your mother." Watching the kit grow wide eyed at the possibility of being related to her. Evande loved interacting with young ones, it reminded her of when she used to be a kit, and they were much more interesting than flirting with oblivious males. "I'm sure you love your parents a lot. But wanna tell me your name small fry?"

"Oh ok." He said somewhat bemused and smiled. So much for other relatives he thought. "I do I do! And itts Kalani, iits grayte ta meet you Ede!"
She was very nice for an adult minya and he found himself enjoying her presence. She didn't seem to treat him like the clumsy and somewhat lost little minya he was but as just a minya. He liked that.

"Kalani hmm? It sounds very tropical..." Grooming her left paw slightly as she silently thought to herself, Evande soon returned her attention back to the young kit. "So anyways... what are you doing out here without one of your parents?" The question had been bothering her to ask it for a while and the deep red Minya finally gave in.

Looking down at her front paws as she tried to think of an explination of what the word Tropical meant, Evande nearly had a heartattack as Kalani appeared as an adult. Rubbing her emerald eyes in surpise, the female minya dropped the subject of Tropical things and exploring to bring up the imidiate problem.
"Holy Kira! Jeeze Kalani... are you trying to give me a hernia or something? I look away for more than a second and..." Flinging her forearms into the air, she continued, "... POOF. You're an adult.... a hansom one at that."
