Welcome to the regional thread for Western United States. Following states in this catagory:
Colorado
New Mexico
Utah
Arizona
Idaho
Washington
Oregon
Nevada
California
Alaska
Hawaii
(Though Hawaii and Alaska really don't fit anywhere- they're being put here)
Post in here if you wish to find other members who live near you or in the states posted above. If you want to know if people will attend a contest, workshop, invitation, regional, tryouts, ETC that TAKE PLACE IN THESE states post HERE. I hail from Lynnwood High, in Washington. Royals. Mwar. domokun
We don't have a marching band. We do pep, jazz, and concert. We're lazy and poor - we don't have money for uniforms. We have SOME, just... not enough. And they're ugly anyway and our BD hates them, so... there you have it. xp

Last year for our tour we went to Bakersfield for a music exchange and then housed with some kids...whazzat joo? Rancho Bernardo High School (Royal Regiment) Southern California, San Diego we're not really doing anything nowadays... xp Anyone heard of us?

Live oak highschool(emerald regime)
southern cali. bay area
back in the 70's we had a lot of money and won some nationals, now we are smaller though with less money because the schools have been sucking majorly. pm me if you know of us! surprised

We're getting new uniforms next year and I'm only a freshie so I get a perfect fitting uniform for the next 3 years. heart

Eh, it's been okay. Normally I LOVE concert season with every fiber of my being, because I want to be a professional flautist so I consider it training, but this year is kind of completely opposite for me. >.< It's mostly because I can't stand the other flute players this year. I want last year's section back. Other than that it's been okay though. I have no complaints about the music or anything, other than I wish we coupld play slightly harder music....

Just curious - is anyone here going to the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival in February? Our jazz bands are going, and I was curious as to if anyone here was going.
