OF MY DSL! crying crying crying crying crying crying crying
The company said that there was a power outage and many people in California won't have DSL for an unknown period of time. gonk gonk
WHY?! WHY?!
Now I've been forced to go back to . . . . . . 28k DIAL UP! :death:

but MY DSL! crying Why, why did you leave me?! I can't view over half of the stuff in the SUTF. If it's over 100k it takes too long to load.
I feel so slow and robbed of my precious DSL. Other than Gaia troubles, I worry about my school site. I hope my online classes aren't affected too greatly by this.
Riddle me this, . . . . If your internet went out for a month and you had no other way to get onto the internet, would you survive? Could you live without the net for a whole month? What would you do till then? Would your life be changed dramatically or would there be little of a change at all? Are you going to answer all these questions? How much is it for a car wash in your neighborhood? What would you give to get your internet back? Would you set up a lemonaid stand, sell chocolate, sell your/somone else's soul, n00b assassin jobs? gonk
In short, I won't be on Gaia for a while.... this 28k deal is just not cutting it. >_<

If my internet went "KABOOM" I would be really pissed off. I would call Road Runner and raise hell. Then I'd die... 'cause I live on the internet, yo.
I have no idea how much it costs to go to the car wash here because I don't drive yet.
I would do something totally out of character from my normal self to get back my internet.
If I had to choose from your listed jobs, I'd probably sell chocolate. I'd look for PMSing and pregnant ladies and make puppy eyes at them. xd

But I feel for ya'. I was on a 38k modem for awhile.
But here's a hint.
Turn off images. surprised
You wouldn't believe how much that speeds things up. xd
And if you're on FireFox, make it so it only loads Gaia's images, because they'll allready be in your cache. 3nodding
