Who: AearHwesta & Crow
What: A meeting
When: about now, some days after Aear's talk with Valefor after her talk with Crow
Where: Near Realm HQ but not too near
Why: The boys need to have a 'man to man' talk... And Aear all but promised Valefor

He had not gone out the next day, as he had told Valefor he intended. Nor the day after that. It was on the third day the sailor could bring himself to head for land, dock the Hiril Anorfalf and head towards the Realm Headquarters. He could not deny that part of him was less than thrilled about the idea of meeting with a possible suitor for Valefor; less a housemate of one of his 'luvs'. But that was a small deterrent. In truth he was still wary of company of any kind. Especially should he run into Seer. Those brief times he had flown ashore for 'comfort' had only intensified what the ladies' kitsu feared.

He was changed.

Sighing, AearHwesta cast his russet eyes upon the landscape and horizon for a flutter of black that might indicate the one called Crow. He had searched -lazily perhaps- an hour each day since the third day after speaking with the aeon. Not very long, in either sense but he would not hunt the male down. They just needed to speak. Settle things. For Valefor's sake.

Crow had a heavy mind, and a confused heart. His talk with Valefor all but sent his emotions a flutter. The things he'd said. The things he'd unexpectedly felt. Sure, there was a small spark for her before, but now it was as though someone had added a fan to the flame. Golden eyes scanned the skies. Who was he searching for? For her? For someone...for anyone. His nightmares still weighed on his soul. Could he handle having another family. Had there been a first family. A first love. A first child. "AUGHHHH" he growled infrustration.

His little crow companion soared in a circle above the flopped down Crow.

His ears heard the cry before he saw where or who it came from. It nearly knocked him out of the sky. Almost -but not quite- someone had given voice to the feeling inside of him. The pain was different, but the confusion, the anguish, seemed to echo his own troubled heart.

Or maybe AearHwesta was just imagining it because heart & mind were so easily gravitated to it.

He banked, catching a new current to steer towards the cry. It had been male, the sailor was sure. Not that it mattered as much to him as it once had. Besides... he was supposed to be looking for a male. A black furred black winged male with -what was it?- right, brown hair. And a white mask of some sort. Idly Aear wondered if it was markings or somehow removable like Valefor's.

Black. Lots of black. A crow circling around... had Valefor said anything about this Crow lad having a bird companion? Aeer did a double-take even as he dove to land. It had looked like a white face amidst all the darkness. Why then had he cried out like that?

The blue and white angelic male landedNot too close, but within a comfortable speaking distance. "Ye a'right, Lad? Heard ye a mile out."

Crow's ears flicked as the other male had landed not too far off. The sudden appearance had startled him a bit, he'd been so lost in his own confusion, he wasnt paying attention to his surroundings. "Oh dear" he said with a light cough "I'm sorry, i did not mean to startle" He gave a quick smile "I though i was alone...my appologies" he gave a quick inclination of his head. Now, he'd never heard a discription of the woman loving angelic, so right now, he wouldnt be able to tell AearHwesta from Darth Vader. Well...maybe, but thats neither here nor there. "I hope i did not impose"

The darkened male, was glad for the others appearance. He could focus on something else, other then his own confused anguished heart. Why couldnt love be...easy. He gave a soft smirk at that own irony. Love was anything, anything but simple.

Quirking one brow Aear bobbed his head once and gave a small smile. "Nothin' te be apologizing for, Lad. Sound like that, ye don't be makin' intentional like." Padding a few steps closer Aear could see the facial expressions better against the white mask. "Caught me is all. Like I could've made a like sound and nay known it."

Closer... yes. the long hair near this male's face was a dark brown rather than the black. Could not really get any closer to Valefor's description, could he? "Nay, ye didn't impose at all. Fact, I've been lookin' fer someone. Maybe ye. Does yer name happen te be Crow?"

Crow's golden eyes went wide. This male was looking for him? Why? "y-yes, it is" he shook his head "I'm sorry, do...do i know you?" this was byfar the most...unexpected thing. "Why, are you looking for me?" he tilted his head, all his confusion, and mixed feelings, about Valefor disappeared in a moment of curiosity. He racked his mind, he might've met this male. But the more he thought, the more he was sure he'd never seen him before. Not even in passing. Not even in mention......at least, that he knew of.

With a wry smile the angelic shook his head. "We've nay met, if that's what ye mean Lad." He took a few more steps then stretched much like a cat before laying down on his belly and resting his head upon his paws before him. Russet eyes flickered brightly behind Aear's own wall of uncertainty. Now that he had found him... how best to go about this?

"We don't know each other, but I rather think we should. Would make a certain lass happy. An' that's why I was lookin' fer ye."

Crows golden orbs flickered. Certain lass. His mind reeled. Something they had in common....."Valefor..." he said at length. His feathers relaxed, he'd been tense since the male landed. "You must be...Aear." he said with a brief smile. He'd always wondered how a meeting with the alleged Aear would go. After what he'd heard from Danny, and Valefor. He didnt agree with how the angelic lived his life. He was honest with the women yes, but that did not make it easier on them. "I've heard of you, from Valefor and from Ahdahnia...." he said softly, "Both spoke....fondly of you" he quickly smiled.

He tried his hardest to keep an open mind, but he found his heart. Oh, that was another story. He felt so strongly for Valefor, and he felt..jealous? Aear and Valefor shared something he'd only dreamt of. He was sure, he felt part of his heart break right there. Now that he'd met the alleged permiscuious sailor, even he could see the appeal. How could he compete....

Russet eyes gaged the other's reactions as he spoke. The sailor waited to speak until Crow was finished though he gave a slight nod of his head after being named.

"Aye. I'm AearHwesta. But Aear'll do as tha's a mouthful." His smile was friendly but showed that he was uncomfortable with this situation too.

"Ahdahnia? Danny-luv? She's the one as lives with ye?" It was a confirmation more than a question. For a moment his smile brightened in a loverly, almost dreamy, remmenisent way before flickering & fading & dimming a bit with a touch of sorrow. "How is she, an' that charming accent of hers?"

By now, Crow was certain a fair number of the dieties hated him. The turmoil with Valefor, his own confused heart, and now this. Oh it was alot to digest in one sitting, and by now, he could feel his stomach churn. "Danny..." he smiled softly, and quickly. More of a nervous tick then a show of happiness or pleasure. "She's found herself a mate i believe, and recently had two eggs of her own..." he nodded again, and sat down, his charcoal tails wrapping around equally dark paws. In all honesty he wasnt sure his legs could support any more surprises. "She fell hard for you.." he sighed "She knew what she was getting into, but at the same time...ahhh" he gave a barely audible chuckle. What a situation.

"She has?" His features spread into a honestly thrilled grin. "Ah, tha's wonderful!" Aear's happiness at Ahdahnia's situation fell softly, as a wave of guilt he was quite unfamiliar with washed over him. It stuck to his heart like the spray of saltwater did to his fur. "I didn't know... No wonder Valefor said ye didn't think well o' me. Nay that I can blame ye..." He shook his head sadly, not looking at Crow right away. "I ne'er intended her te fall, mate."

Once more his eyes lifted to meet the other's. Had he fallen? Crow... did he...? So far the sailor liked the dark male. Aear was no expert on such things, but if it would make Valefor happy. Whether Danny had fallen for him, and no matter what Valefor and he shared... he could not give them families. Even when he finally wanted to...

But Danny's mate could. And Crow... if he loved Valefor. For the sailor would have it no other way.

But how to ask?

Crow felt for Aear. His past made him able to tell when he was being lied to or decieved. He detected no deception in the sailors eyes. He lightly lied a paw on the blue angelics shoulder "Ah, you didnt intend for her to. And i dont think she did either. You showed her another aspect of life, you opened her eyes to her feminine side" he offered a gentle smile, as he removed his paw from the others shoulder. "You know how Danny is though, she's incapable of holding any ill will towards anyone. She still thinks highly of you. And i know she'd like to see you again"

He sighed lightly, shaking his head. He didnt hate Aear, he didnt judge so quickly, he was just under the impression Aear was a player.

Surprise at feeling the other's paw upon his shoulder, but nary a flinch. Instead a soft chuckle. "Love without fallin I prefer, Lad. fallin hurts." Lightly he closed his eyes from his own hurts. If only he had been able to heed. Aear gave a soft but choked laugh. "All ladies have a need o' their feminine side." Thoughtful. Eyes opened to look away. Perhaps looking back for there was a smile on his face. Then it grew, the thoughtful look being pushed back in the sailor's joviality.

"Well... I certainly ne'er intended nay to see her again. That's not my way. Our paths simply ne'er crossed again." A light shake of his shoulders. "I'd like te see her. Offer my congratulations. Tis a good thing te know afore seeing her agin though." His eyes sought the other's now. "I ne'er court a lass once I know a lad has his fancy set on her for th' long haul. Or if I find a lass fancies another lad so. Wouldn't be right."

Would that flicker a response the sailor could take to mean Crow felt that way for Valefor? He hoped so. But would Aear be able to read it, and read it correctly? Ah, that he could not guess.

He chuckled lightly, golden orbs watched the sailor. He nodded lightly"I must appologize to you good sir" he shook his head gently "I was under another impression, and i fear i let it cloud my judgement of you" his ears sagged lightly. He was greatfully ashamed of himself for allowing it to get in the way of his judgements.

His eyes flinched as Aear spoke of never courting a lass once he knew of another lads fancy. "Ah, honorable. But sometimes...ah sometimes. Things get..complicated and confused and...unsimple" he said with a light chuckle, and a nervous rub of the back of his head.

The angelic arched a brow, glancing sideways at Crow. He did not ask what the other male's impression was. Guiltily he figured it must be something like what he himself had assumed finding that fiery angelic with Seer... Lightly he shook his head as a frown had started to form. "It's a'right, mate. We all do it from time to time."

AearHwesta nodded, offering a small smile and a shake of his head. "Aye... aye that they do." Something was clearly bothering the masked male, and it did not seem to be Ahdahnia. The sailor however was little good at beating around the bush. After a moment of thoughtful silence he turned to watch Crow rub the back of his head. "And they be complicated where it comes to Valefor, aye Lad?"
