A few days ago I was singing part of a song, which goes like: “Oh how I wish for soothing rain, Oh how I wish to dream again, My loving heart lost in the dark, I hope I gave my everything.” Later after singing that song on the same day it began to rain O.O;; …….and I was wondering what if I caused the rain………u know……? My name I found out means ‘Songstress’which makes me wonder…….do I have power with my voice? O.o;; In some cases I hope not but……..what if………? Plz tell me…… (oh and the title for the subject is part of a poem... sweatdrop )

I've said a lot that the subconscious will do whatever it can to make sure you get what you want, as long as it is not self-inflicted harm. Infact the old kid chant "Rain rain go away, come again another day" is part of a really old witch chant.
That's how spells work, they make you say an affirmation, and with enough power in your desires, as long as you're not trying to simply predict an outcome, your subconscious will try to change the flow of events in nature so that you get your desired outcome.
Sometimes prophecy is mistaken for that and vice versa, how someone will be visualizing and an image pops up of what they want, they think it's prophecy and it's actually them slightly willing the future, or someone will try to will something to happen and see it in their head and they are seeing the future. It gets complicated in more detail.
Science makes things make sense but it's often complicated sweatdrop

Although the idea seems ridiculous, a couple of years ago, whenever I hummed the Song of Storms from Zelda, accompanied by a little visualisation, it'd start raining half an hour later. It could be explained away by the fact that I was usually outside, so I could tell, consciously or otherwise, that it was going to rain soon, though.
Maybe you do have some odd sort of cantomantic/cantomagic power going on with you. Or maybe Tarja Turunen is some sort of Finnish witch.

Maybe I could try?My name may not mean songstress(I don't think it means anything...) but like Lobo said, the subconsious mind and stuff...

You won't have eyes tonight. You won't have ears or a tongue; you will wander the underworld blind, deaf and dumb... Raining is a lot more common than you think. I very seriously (I can't stress this enough) doubt you caused it to rain. Instead, I believe the already water-heavy clouds (that had a lot of water before you started singing) just gathered a bit more water and got rid of it. ...and all the dead will know: this is Hector, fool who thought he killed Achilles.

Unless it is an angel that has come from the angelic community on their so-called "mission", / to help people. It's kinda complicated how angels work, and normally only the angel knows. Don't listen to anyone when they say you are "insert random mythical creature 'here'", I used to listen and it almost drove me insane, so I only go on what I have proof of. I'm in a human body, thus I'm human, so are you, so is everyone. That includes batma- I mean Baron Von TurkeyPants

You won't have eyes tonight. You won't have ears or a tongue; you will wander the underworld blind, deaf and dumb... Batman is especially human. He isn't a cheap copout like Superman, who relies on his super powers. ...and all the dead will know: this is Hector, fool who thought he killed Achilles.

This might be coincidence, Dark, but I thought how cool it would be if it were to rain today, instead of tomorrow, and when I woke up this morning, it was sprinkling. I kind of chuckled of the theory that maybe I started it. Then again, my sage tells me that I hold a ton of potential, if only I would work from my subconscious, and not my conscious state. The sub remembers everything. PS- also from the So. Cal. Desert. Shoutout for Batman!!! HORRAY FOR BATMAN!!! YEA!

Could be. Could just be a coincidence. BTW, I'm really with Lobo on not allowing yourself to be pronounced otherkin by someone else. If the signs and symptoms are there, you'll know eventually. If not, well...
I once had a waking dream/vision as I was coming out of a meditation a friend and I were doing. (The scene was either a different lifetime or me talking to myself in an interesting way) I was a young girl, 5 or 6, watching my mother doing some work on a high table just above my view, singing freely as she did so. I remember gazing at her like she was a beautiful and magical being. As I began to hum along she smiled down at me and said, "Sing. Your voice is your Beauty and your Power. Remember that." She patted my cheek and handed me a small portion of her work to share and as we sang together the air began to charge around us.
We know that words hold power and aren't sounds just waves of energy on different frequencies? If we ripple energy with everything we do... *shrug* we affect the world and feel the effects of the world. If we want, we can feel rain coming.
Reading over this that was one big yes/no answer, wasn't it?

Andiela aren't sounds just waves of energy on different frequencies? No, waves of energy on different frequencies would be the electromagnetic spectrum. Sound is a propagation of a wave through air as a medium. All sound really is is air molecules bouncing against each other like a wave. ...and all the dead will know: this is Hector, fool who thought he killed Achilles.
