I don't really like how they DESTROYED Cloud's personality, (and more Final Fantasy characters,) in Kingdom Hearts. Tifa came out okay, I suppose. I thought it was cute that she was Cloud's light. heart

Sadly I haven't gotten that far in KH. Still, I like to think of the Cloud and Tifa in KH as seperate from their FF counterparts.

Cloud wasn't even CLOUD IMO in KH2.

"Sephiroth... blah blah... emo tear... Sephy... blah.."
GAWD.
YES. It was very sweet that Tifa was Cloud's light.

I also found it cute that he ran away from her because the "light was too much for him". xd Lol....Tifa is overwhelming. But the fact that Tifa is Cloud's light really puts a HUGE role on her in Cloud's life. Again, debates say that she really isn't his light and that Aeris is. Suffice it to say, I think KH2 showed a significant role in Tifa rather than Aeris.
In KH3.....It's hard to predict what will happen, but most likely the story will reveal their pasts and what Aeris and Tifa are to Cloud. I sense more communication between the three.
Speaking of Tifa...there has been a rumor going on that no one can see Tifa except Cloud, Sephiroth and Sora. (Donald and Goofy too). I can't say I agree with it....but I suppose it's a bit valid...since when she was walking around in the same room as Squall and there was no communication between them whatsoever.

Haa. Some Cleris fans suggest that the light that surrounds Cloud somehow came from Aeris, and that's why it's a different color from Tifa's light. -cough- Isn't that just too much? -odd laugh should be inserted here-
But yeah, as Kefka-Daisuki-Desu explained to me, if Aeris was Cloud's light, why was he still searching for his light in KH2? Because, his light is Tifa, that's why.
Um... What reason would there be for Tifa only being seen by certain people? XD

Speaking of Tifa, there’s an event where she talked to Cloud after beating Sephiroth.In Nojima-san’s scenario, it explained Cloud and Tifa’s connection more in-depth but I deleted it away. I thought it would be more interesting to let the gamers think about it. For example, “If Cloud’s darkness is Sephiroth, then Tifa is light”; in that sense you can take it that Tifa isn’t really human. The reason Tifa doesn’t talk to anyone else besides Sora and co. may be because she doesn’t exist as a human. Of course, I also presented her in a way that she could also be a resident of Hollow Bastion, so I think you can feely think for yourself about her.

This is what the Cleris have been hung up on since the first KH Quote: Nomura: "If you play Kingdom Hearts, toward the end, some of the questions about the relationship between Cloud and Aeris in FFVII might be answered. It's sort of like a side story, and this was an extra bonus that I wanted to give to players." Yes I guess that would answer some questions wouldn't it. This tells me that Cloud and Aeris's relationship wasn't some great romance in ending of FF7 since all they had in KH was stair at each other for 5 seconds. Quote: Kitase: "I believe it would be fun to create another story with Aeris and Cloud in a 'gaiden' [sidestory] game. But for now, it's more interesting for me to create new stories featuring new characters." Well, this obviously never happened. One 5 second seen that happened after the rolling credits of the game, can't really be considered a side story at all. Quote: Question: Mr. Nomura, what did you most want to portray in [Kingdom Heart's] story?
Nomura: "For the story, simply put, "connections"... I wanted to portray the idea that people are not physically connected. Well, I think that is already thoroughly incorporated in the story though. Even apart, things which are connected are still connected." Well I'm not going to say he's not connected to Aeris in 'some way' but she's defiantly not his light. Nomura: Well, what do you think? If indeed it was Aeris, then the bit in the ending was the answer. I guess that was our answer - No light transfer from Aeris to Cloud and no romantic moment, just a 5 second stare at the end of the game. and before I get into this Light discussion I dont believe that cloud has one single source/person as their light. Anyways I'll get into that later.
But the light in KH2 is all about inner light, I mean in the game they keep repeating 'hikari no naka' which is literally translated as 'inside light'. I can fully explain later!

Are you sugjusting that Cloud got his light from niter Tifa or Aeris but from himself? Thats a rather interesting argument... .[.pink.spider.]. Thats completely false since Riku's got his light from Mickey, Roxas got his light from Namine and Sora's light is obviously Kairi.

First of all, Nojima saying that "Tifa wasn't planned to appear" is completely wrong since they were planing on putting her in the first KH but didn't have room on the disk. Second, all thats shown here is Tetsu and Nojima going over different ideas about what to do and finally settling on the last one... "Then we decided to make it him running from the 'something warm' like what Tifa was after in FFVIIAC."They never said that Tifa was "the something warm" that Cloud was running from. In fact, they say that Tifa was after something warm in FF7AC and to my recollection Tifa wasn't really after anything that was warm. She was busy fighting the silver haired mean and trying to keep Cloud together. Perhaps it's Aeris's warmth that Cloud's running away from. lol rofl Also, even if it was Tifa he was running from (Which they don't say it is) then he doesn't run for very long since he ends up going back to Hollow Bastion where his light (Tifa) and dark (Sephiroth) await him. Why don't you actually post the link where you got this from.
