I'm totally entering to be random, and hopefully make people giggle =D Feel free to use mine to help you guys put together your own entries, just don't use my actual ideas. <3

Name: Ix
Age: 17
Preferred Element: Actually obtained? Water. He's striving to raise dragons based around sound and it's relating elements however.
Why they joined the Order: TO PARTY 8D. Ahem. To gain access to dragons and further his studies.
Brief Appearance: Ix resembles someone out of their element. While his clothes have the potential to mark him a nobleman, they're usually wrinkled and put on haphazardly. The sleeves of his shirt are usually rolled up, and a vest is worn over that. Some might question the goggles worn on his head or around his neck, but once you've been around him and his 'experiments' enough you'll see they're very handy to have. Green spikey hair tops his head. It's actually naturally black, but a certain failed experiment turned it green and the odd mage decided he liked it that way. Now, when it starts to grow out too much, he repeats the failure to dye it once more. Ix is often seen with his guitar, either at his side or strapped across his back.
Brief Personality: Twitchy and obnoxious. So many explosions have perhaps fried a good deal of the working braincells Ix once had, and has reduced him to a rather twitchy mess. He's almost always doing something with his hands, whether it be waving them in the air or merely fidgeting around. Despite this, Ix loves to get out and meet new people and their dragons. He really means the best, but one has to get past his arrogant behavior to see it. Often you could almost swear he existed purely to annoy people...
Brief History: As a child, Ix showed an early interest in the dragons wandering the city, as well as music. Imagine a child that constantly loved to bang on pots and pans to make 'songs'? Pleasant, isn't it? Fast forward years later. Ix entered training, and soon met up with his longtime vict---friend, Raelan. The odd mage tormented his new friend all the way through school, even going so far as to room with him. Now, even after they have passed their tests and entered the Order, the two live together. Whether it be to save money, Raelan's morbid curiosity in just what Ix could do to himself next, or out of a sense of need to take 'care' of each other, the two enjoy living together....I think.
Occupation: Breedery Assistant. He helps take care of the eggs, and in turn uses the opportunity to experiment with how sound and different types of music affects developing dragons.
Strengths: Music. This mage can certainly play. He also has a certain knack for causing trouble and making random things (especially -important- things) explode.
Weaknesses: Ix has a hard time thinking things through logically. While his roommate can ponder over a problem, Ix would rather rush in and deal with the (usually explosive) consequences later. He can be rather insightful, when provoked, but more often than not one will view him as foolish.
Anything Else: Ix demands your love, or you might find certain documents missing ;D

Name: Jaxom
Age: 43
Preferred Element: Time
Why they joined the Order: He originally wasn't going to join the Order (lacking almost all magical abilities) but was given a chance when a teacher recommended him for having exceptional fundamental knowledge of magic.
Brief Appearance: He's a tall grizzled and generally dignified middle-aged man. He generally has a patch over his left eye thanks to an injury which blinded him. His hair used to be black before he started to age and his one eye left is bright green in color (the other is a foggy blue but only a hand full of people have ever seen it). He generally wears soft leather pants with a solid color tunic over it. His hair is usually braided unless he's been drug out of bed early and he only bothers to pull it back into a loose tail.
Brief Personality: He's a grumpy antisocial b*****d. That's about it.
Brief History: He trained at the University from a young age even though he wasn't all that adept at magic. He met his best friend there, who excelled at healing magic, and the two quickly decided that was the field they'd go into. Jaxom could make potions of every sort with the best of them so opening an apothecary seemed like the obvious answer. His friend was diagnosed with a terminal disease just as Jaxom graduated the University. Instead of curing it they both decided they'd enjoy their dreams and life as they had left of it. Jaxom's friend died a year after they opened the shop and he's kept going since then refusing to give up on what they'd built together.
Occupation: Apothecary
Strengths: He can make almost anything chemical in nature. His major talent is being able to reverse magical ailments/afflictions with non magical means.
Weaknesses: He is blind in one eye and lacks good peripheral vision and depth perception. He doesn't like being in crowds because of this. He also fails at almost everything magical if it involves doing it himself.
Anything Else: Keep hyper dragons and anything under 30 away from him.

Name: Jasmine Callanthe
Age: 18
Preferred Element: She doesn't prefer one specific element, like water or fire - she prefers emotional affinities. Her two dragons have affinities to sorrow and happiness, respectively.
Why she joined the Order: She has always loved the idea of being a wizard and spending time with dragons ever since she was little, and she believes her area of study will aid dragons and their owners throughout Dorhaven. Being in the Order has enabled her to further expand her knowledge.
Brief Appearance: She has mid-back length chestnut hair, though her bangs have been permanently dyed a bright pink due to a failed experiment. She always wears goggles that sit atop her head, and she should have learned by now they work better over her eyes, but a charred face or three isn't enough to make her re-position them. She's normally seen wearing a white shirt, sleeves or no, a comfortable pair of jeans, and whatever shoes she can find.
Brief Personality: Bubbly, happy, one of those 'without a care in the world' type of people. She has endless ways to amuse herself. It may seem like she has a horrible short-term memory, as well; someone can tell her something and she won't remember it not five minutes later. This is more because what someone wants her to remember, if she doesn't think it important, it isn't worth remembering. When she isn't studying or working, she's taking a stroll around town with her dragons, annoying meeting others and their dragons. Which is a wonderful opportunity to hand out free samples of her specially-made dragon food, usually filled with interesting flavors.
Brief History: She comes from a small, unheard of family that lives a little ways outside the city's borders. Her parents were nice enough, encouraging her to always ask questions and to do what she enjoys. That might have at least partially helped to sculp her attitude towards certain things now - if she doesn't enjoy it, she won't even acknowledge its existence.
Occupation: Jas specializes in dragon nutrition and loves it. She enjoys making all kinds of food for dragons in all kinds of flavors. Though she means well, they more often than not don't enjoy her... interesting choice in flavors.
Strengths: One of her strengths is her vast knowledge of dragon nutrition. Another is her work ethic and ability to ignore any and all distractions (except a hungry dragon; those kinds of distractions are hard to ignore) while studying or working.
Weaknesses: She has the attention span of a gnat. If someone or something isn't interesting, it isn't worth paying attention to. She also, though a wizard, has horrible skills with her magic. She usually only performs a few simple, easy spells. Anything harder than that and something inevitably blows up, or ends up very charred.
Anything Else: If she likes you, you will be her best friend whether you like it or not. 8D

Name: Viorel Thanh
Age: 25
Preferred Element: Anything having to do with water or power, (i.e; snow, storm, sea, destruction, war, supremacy).
Why they joined the Order: To one day become as successful as his father.
Appearance: The wizard is always dressed handsomely and well kept, his blue coin bag filled with his father’s funding. Viorel dresses in rich blues and crisp white robes, cloaks, and tunics, and a pair of polished black knee-length boots, all specially tailored to his slender body by the family seamstress. A silver chain hangs around his thin neck with a large and radiant crystal shard dangling from it, and a silver ring, with three diamonds fashioned elegantly into the likeness of a crown, sits snugly on his index finger. Startlingly black hair - cut to just above the shoulders at the back and with mid-neck length ‘ear tails’ and bangs - frames his pale, androgynous face and often hides a pair of bright bluish-grey eyes, set in an upwards slant. He walks with unparalleled dignity, often appearing disgusted and rarely amused, and isn’t quite used to the slower-paced, traditional life of Dorhaven as opposed to his booming hometown.
Brief Personality: He is extremely superficial and materialistic, often judging people on first glance and noting in them only their apparent (useful) abilities. He is determined and undeterred by his social responsibilities, often neglecting his family and friends (minions, or pawns) in favor of whatever he finds fun in that moment, or whatever mood he’s in. He tries to secure relationships with his witty comments and showing off, though this rarely makes him any friends, and for that, he shuns most people and believes them ‘a waste of effort’, owing also in part to his well-developed superiority complex. Though he may seem a bigot or just downright mean, he has a noticeable soft spot for dragons (especially his own) and a certain need to be accepted amongst his peers.
Brief History: The middle son of five brothers, he was ushered among them into a life of grand galas and enormously successful dragon breeding at an early age. Schooled by his erudite father, education came first, and along with his elder brothers, he learned all he could in preparation to someday go to the Order and come back rich and famous, like his father had done. While his brothers preferred to spend their time in the dragon stalls and had no intention on leaving for the Order, Viorel was often found with his nose in a book or over a beaker, taking his education into his own hands. As his siblings showed extraordinary prowess in breeding, his father’s attention was wrenched away from him, and he was left to grow up feeling neglected and brooding over how he would one day ‘show them all.’ Fortunately for him, his father noticed this and has been trying to help him by sending him to the Order and paying for his stay in Dorhaven. Viorel graduated from the Order four years ago at the age of 21 and received his first egg, a snow and prism affinity he named Tuyet. He adores her over everything else, and frequently fusses over her in spite of her motherly protests.
Occupation: Biogenetic researcher.
Strengths: He takes pride in his magical skill (his particular strength lies in hydro-manipulation) and his knowledge in the way of the sciences, specifically chemistry, biology, and genetics.
Weaknesses: He is manipulative and rude, and doesn’t have many friends. The relationships he does maintain are purely for his personal gain, and he will pass up any venture if he doesn’t see the immediate profit in it. He also has a strong eye for detail and beauty, though tends to overlook the subtleties and ignore implications that are not readily available.
Anything Else: The way to Viorel’s heart is shiny, unique, or exceptionally tasty.

Name: Salerni D'Aubin
Age: 25
Preferred Element: Water
Why they joined the Order: Salerni has been fascinated with magic all his life; when he discovered that he had the aptitude, he jumped at the chance to join the Order and make it his life's work.
Brief Appearance: Plain, neither tall nor short, and skinny but with a potbelly. He has prematurely grey hair (it runs in the family) and grey eyes. He wears loose, practical clothing, has goggles to protect his eyes in his laboratory, and carries a staff to compensate for a weak knee.
Brief Personality: Absentminded and scatterbrained, though he can focus intently on one thing at a time. His quarters and lab are almost always a mess. He loves to read, study, and debate; he is a bit socially inept, and doesn't really realize he comes across as abrupt and rude at times. He has a deep affection for animals and a great love for dragons of all types.
Brief History: Salerni comes from a large and close-knit merchant family; he has never quite fit in, though his family loves him and he loves them in return. His father was relieved when he showed an aptitude for magic as a teenager, as it meant that instead of the business that he had no head for, Salerni could be sent to Dorhaven to pursue courses of study that he would truly enjoy.
Occupation: Potions maker and researcher
Strengths: Intense focus on interesting subjects, good memory for trivial details, always willing and eager to learn
Weaknesses: Terribly absentminded, gleefully argumentative, unintentionally rude
Anything Else: Salerni is an excellent cook and draws fine and detailed studies of natural objects. However, he cooks on the lab burners and often loses his sketches in the drifts of vellum that cover his workspace.
