Freize had gotten a late start today, and after having spotted the clock after waking up he was set off on a cursing streak that frightened Cougar and Chael, and they couldn't even understand what he was saying. He had done a halfhearted spiking of his hair and threw on a random pair of clothes before throwing some clothes on Chael as well. Then the two were off, hurrying towards the park.

Chael was... Confused. Why was this guy so upset? He just chomped on the head of the dog plush that he had managed to grab before being dragged off. It was missing an eye- Freize decided he probably ate it, but didn't really want to know that actual story.

The weremutt dropped down on the bench, trying to catch his breath, "S... Sorry... I was late... I was just... Just sleeping... And.. Phew. My alarm didn't go off."

Freize gave a relieved look. "Ah... That's good.." He wasn't quite sure how to treat the male, having never really dealt with any sort of mechanical being before (with the exception of a few, but that wasn't really interacting,) but tossed him a warm smile. "I'm Freize. Nice to meet you too..."

He looked down at the baby in his arms, nodding, "Yep, this is Chael." He glanced towards the girl, "And there's Ayumi." He'd heard a little bit about the girl, not much... Or maybe... Maybe he just wasn't listening... Um...

The child looked up, confused at why everyone was saying his name 'cause he really wasn't listening. At all. "Aaaah?" He continued gnawing on his stuffed companion's head, gazing owlishly towards Ayumi. He seemed to try to say something, which was muffled by fluff to- "Mmmphhm?"

Freize raised himself and followed. "The sandbox is good." He gently set down the boy, who gazed up at him with a confused expression. Freize took himself a few steps back before settling himself in a nice patch of grass... Ah... It was nice that they had places like parks.


Chael watched him for a moment before turning back to look at the other baby, and then to the sand. He gave a stupid smile before dropping his dog stuffy into his lap. He patted the sand carefully, as if afraid it would bite. When reassured it wouldn't, he watched Ayumi and then began to mimick her movements.

Freize spared Koru a glance as he spoke before returning to staring idly towards the children, his mind seeming elsewhere. "Of course not." The weremutt was very good at zoning out by now.

Chael was fascinated by the sand after a moment, scooping up hunks of sand and dropping them. He grinned stupidly to himself, feet digging themselves into the sand near him. He then looked up towards Ayumi, watching her curiously, head tilting itself to one side.

Chael let out a startled noise as suddenly sand was flying at him. He raised his hands and gaped stupidly towards the girl, letting the sand he was holding fall back.. "Uhnnn?" He wrinkled his nose and gave a shake to his head, which let loose a small amount of sand. He stared down towards his lap, which now had a few heaps of sand covering him.. "Ahnn? Whhaa?"

He looked to his one-eyed dog companion, who also had some sand on it. He picked it up and shook it roughly before dropping it carelessly at his side. He probably forgot why he was shaking it in the first place.

Chael was patting at the sand on his legs when suddenly more was there! He jumped and stared at his legs, completely baffled as to where the sand came from. He tilted his head, and then finally thought to look up, surprised to find Ayumi magically was closer. He watched her quietly, trying to figure out what was going on. He decided that since the sand was on him in the first place because of her, she was the reason more sand had come.. He gave a crooked smile after having figured it out. He then looked back towards his legs. THEY WERE DISAPEARING. Parts of his leg were gone, and there was only sand left! (AKA he had sand covering his legs so he couldn't see his skin.) He let out a distressed gurgle.

Chael had officially come to the decision that the sand was EATING HIM ALIVE. Yes. That is EXACTLY what was happening. His lower lip trembled as he watched himself slowly disapearing beneath the sand, another unhappy noise whined out in the back of his throat. He wriggled his toes and watched as they popped up once again, surprised.. But at the rate Ayumi was going, they were soon gone again. He found himself with a dilemma. He looked between the girl and the sand covering him.. Well, she seemedh appy... So maybe it wasn't a bad? Maybe it was a good? He was confused now, but kept quiet. If the other baby was enjoying herself....
