We all know FF games are pretty much the backbone of most any RPG game out there that involves some form of Turn based, or ATG (Action Time Guage) feature for a battle system, and hell, it can even be the backbone of most any other Genre of game, because throughout the FF series, almost every kind of game has been tossed into the mix.
So, what's your all time favorite game from the FF title, and why?
I'm gonna have to say, FF7/8 are tied for me. Both contain an amazing storyline, that keep you wanting to play until the end, and then when you finally get there, you're just like, "********... it's over..." Both also have great features for battles, (FF7 being the Materia, and FF8 being the Junctioning), which involves a little bit more thought into how you use each character, and what they're gonna be meant for. Other then that, they both contain ultimatly amazing Side Quests, and mini-games.
So, what ya'll think?

I guess it's between FF9/7, I think both have great storylines and ideas, especially the mini-games. But I like both of the fighting(battle) style, you know it's hard to decide xp

I liked 4 and 6. The storylines were great and the characters really drew you into the game, even if the graphics don't meet today's standards.
I guess I'm old-school. sad

FFVII and FFX cuz they both had awesome stories to it. dirge was cool. i didn't like FFX-2, it was basically the next story to FFX but wasn't that fun since i finished it.

FFXII bored me so much, that I'm only about 3/4 through the game and just can't force myself to finish. Everyone seems the same to me, and the story seems kinda flat compared to some other Final Fantasies. But then again, maybe it's just me. I'm a bit kooky like that. rofl

I got through the first fight on the PS one and nowhere on the GBA one

You know I devoted myself that this Christmas was for Final Fantasy only. I started today with FF9, and even though I like all of them, this one is definately my favorite! I don't know what it is about it, but I just love it, and since I erased all of my previous data, it's back to square one. Although I'm happy I did, I barely remembered the story, and now I love it! 3nodding

yeah... that's one thing about final fantasy... a second time through is just as good as the first 3nodding though I've never been able to get Ark as a summon again on FF9... but 7 I have a gold chocobo and Knights of the Round before getting the submarine so I went into that fight using Knights of the Round and Chaos twisted

It's a difficult decision, but I'd probably have to pick 9. I was almost instantly drawn to the characters and story.
