It is perfectly acceptable to use free art as your character, but I ask that when known you credit the artist. Even if you just do:

i.e., Adding the artist's name in parenthesis, or where you got it (if it was from an image collection such as Advanced Anime). If, however, you use art where the artist has specified some other means of giving credit, use that.
We don't want any stolen art here!

I also do discounted art (avatar, banner, random) for Riff Raff members at
1,500 gold for full-length color
1,000 gold for full-length black and white
500 gold for portraits in color
250 gold for black and white portraits
100 gold for banners
and random art should be discussed via PM.
Additionally, the gold from art done for Riff Raff members will be put into the guild fund. If you'd like to just go ahead and donate the gold, make sure you let me know beforehand if you want the art. If you just want to send me the gold for the art, make sure you PM me the info before you send the trade so I don't think it's a donation and spend it on myself.
Finally:Any other members willing to do character art are encouraged to post here with their specifications and pricing. There is also a post below this one with good sources for anime-style imagery, which is the most common sort used for character art. Anyone with suggestions for that list should PM RiffyRaffy.
