So my mom is away for the next few days and has been since Friday. This is the first time since I've been home again that she's gone away.
Yesterday evening my brothers ordered pizza with money that mom had left for us. Unfortunately they didn't ask me what I wanted, didn't even let me know it was coming until I got there, and ate it all by themselves. I was unhappy, so I took some of their money and got KFC. Now they're expecting to be paid back.
Today I was cleaning out my rabbit hutch, inside which my mom thought it would be a good idea to put some litter -- however it is clumping cat litter that the rabbits like to kick around. They do use it though. Anyway, I'm cleaning it out and I decide to take the bottom trays out to empty them out. They were so full of litter that it went all over the ground! I had already started hosing down the wooden slats that make up the floor of the hutch so I ended up with ankle deep piles of soggy rabbit s**t and wet clumping cat litter. And the newspapers that line the bottoms of the trays just happened to get into the mess.
After mucking around in that for a while, I got it into a state somewhat semblant of order (at least it was clean for the rabbits). My bare feet were covered in muck and poop and my pant legs hadn't fared much better (curse you bellbottoms). My shirt and hands weren't exactly sanitary either. So I come inside and need a shower, unfortunately my brother Ryan had chosen that exact moment to be in the shower already. And he always stays in there until the water runs cold. So I wasn't going to have it. Fortunately I had brought over a bunch of shower gel and other bath goodies from my old place so I stripped my pants and shirt off at the back door, grabbed the shower gel and headed to the basement shower (which unfortunately did have carpet in between me and the shower, unlike the main floor one).

Lol.
That reminded me of when I used to take a friend out to the country when I rode horses. They always freaked out and wouldn't stand still because of all the muck. Some where also always saying eww and oh my god. It was really funny. I wished this one girl would have fallen over. She was someone we used to baby sit during the day.
Fun times.
Why didn't you clean it out then hose it down afterwords?

Large Inmate Lol. That reminded me of when I used to take a friend out to the country when I rode horses. They always freaked out and wouldn't stand still because of all the muck. Some where also always saying eww and oh my god. It was really funny. I wished this one girl would have fallen over. She was someone we used to baby sit during the day. Fun times. Why didn't you clean it out then hose it down afterwords? Because normally the trays aren't over flowing and I can only do one side of the hutch at a time or the rabbits have nowhere to stay. In hindsight that's a much better idea though, lol. EDIT: Forgot to comment on the horses. I was moreso frustrated at the mess than grossed out, myself. I mean I stood in it while I was dealing with the rabbits. I can't stand girls who get grossed out so easily. Rabbit poo is really sanitary normally too, you can just sweep it up.

Man, I never had that kind of trouble with my rabbits, but cleaning up was still a pain.
I'm actually home alone as well for the rest of the month. I house-sit for my aunt and uncle, and when I go home both of my parents will be in Canada.

Indigo Project Man, I never had that kind of trouble with my rabbits, but cleaning up was still a pain. I'm actually home alone as well for the rest of the month. I house-sit for my aunt and uncle, and when I go home both of my parents will be in Canada. I'd enjoy that if I didn't have to deal with my siblings, lol. Whereabouts in Canada are they headed, do you know?

La Belle Isolde Whereabouts in Canada are they headed, do you know? Um, PEI for part of it, but I don't remember about the rest.

Yeah I used to have a rabbit, she hated when you brought her in from outside. She grunts and attacks you.... No one cleaned it out for a loong time then. I would have thought it would start to stink... atleast our rabbit stated to stink in her last years. I like that too. It's really easy to clean.
