On the fall breeze a high in the sky flew a brown and white minya. Barrilrolls and loop de-loops where what could be seen from the ground.
Growing thristy he flew to the earth below. He landed with out a sound on the ground and folded his leathery wings on his back tightly. The winged minya headed to a near by stream he saw from above. With in seconds he was bent down beside the cool fresh water stream, lapping up the water.

While nibbling on some grasses, she spots a brown and white object twirling in the sky above.
As it gets closer to the ground, getting ready to land, she realizes what she sees; Haruki! As he takes a drink of water from a nearby stream, she quickly bounds towards him, getting ready for a full on glomp. But as she nears where he stand, she trips upon herself and is sent tumbling full speed into him!
"Wahhhhhhh! -UMPFH!-"

Haruki was sent flying into the cool stream. "Eep!" He yelped just before he fell in. The water only came up to his chest but he fall in on his side so the water enveloped his whole body. He shot up in the middle of the stream, standing, gasping for air. "Hey Liliana." He grined and shook his head as he walked back to the dry shore. He opened his wings, wide and shook out his whole body to help it dry faster. "You now....You could have just asked me to take a bath if I smell that badly." Haruki chuckled.

She stood up, slightly stumbling, from the edge of the stream and shook her dampened paw.
Liliana had barely gotten wet, for she had stopped tumbling at approximately the same place Haruki had been standing before he was sent whirling into the stream.
Liliana's cheeks turned a rosie pink color at sudden embarassment, but smiled weakly as she looked up at him.
"Heh..hey Haruki...sorry about that, I didn't mean to uh.."
-she stopped jabbering as Haruki began to come closer-

Haruki just walked past her with his wings open. "Me oh my I'm hungry. How about you?" He asked Liliana, his head over his shoulder so he could see her out of the corner of his eye. He flapped his wings, little droplets of water where sent flying into the air. Once his wings where again free of water he folded them tightly against his back. "Come on Lily I don't have all day." He was starting to get hyper like aways.

A droplet of water, shaken off of Haruki, landed right on top of Liliana's head
and she snapped back into her usual self.
"well of course I'm hungry."
she paused for a second and then cooed, grinning slightly:
"so where are you gonna take me?

Haruki stopped dead in his tracks and whipped around. "I'm not taking you any where. Your just following me. That being said I'm going to find a raspberry bush, their all ripe right now and I want to eat some befor the first frost kills them all." He grinned and took off running through the vally of snowdrop mountains. If the things he said where hurtful he didn't mean them to be. He was just playing around.

Not expecting Haruki's reply, Liliana just sat there dumfounded with her eyes blinking. After a few seconds she stepped forward to go with him, but suddenly realized she had not seen which way he went. Unfamiliar with this part of snowdrop mountains, Liliana began meandering through the valley. Every now and then she faintly whispered, "Haruki?.."

Haruki realized he couldn't hear the sound of paws following him. He stopped and looked around. "Lily?" He could see or smell her. "Lily this isn't funny, I'm hungry..." His ears purked up and he listened for her. "Damn I bet I left her in my dust..." He growed and speared his wings wide. The trees wheren't dence here so he could fly straight up into the sky. He cricled low over the trees to look for her.

With dusk approaching, Liliana began to get a little frightened and quickened her pace as she called out more urgently for Haruki. Where was he?
A little frustrated with herself for being so careless, she decided to stop in a clearing near a big, tall tree. Knowing Haruki could fly, Liliana had a tiny thought that maybe, just maybe, Haruki would notice she had not been behind him and come looking.
After hearing her own tummy gurgling, Liliana thought she should start moving again, at least to find some food. But before she stood up, she caught a glimpse of something in the sky. Afraid that it may not be Haruki, Liliana sat silently and squinted into the sky, trying to make out the object from above.

Haruki called out "Liliana! Show your self!" It was getting dark though the sun still hung low in the sky. He flew to a glad hoping that Lily would go to a clearing so he could spot her easier. How did she get so from away from me. He thought. Uki saw some thing yellow by a tree and flew in low to have a better look.

As Liliana stared at the flying object, which was now flying towards her, she heard her name, and knew that it must be Haruki. Jumping up and down with a sense of joy and relievment, Liliana cried out "Haruki! Haruki! Over here!!"

Haruki flew towards the jumping yellow and green minya that was shouting his name. He came in fast so his landing would have been harder on him that is if his didn't start running as soon as he hit the ground. He ran to Liliana side and nuzzled her cheek then bonked her on the head with his wing. "You baka! How...why...what are you doing here?"

Liliana quickly felt her cheek brushed by what she hoped was Haruki stumbling past her. But before she could react, a wing rapped against her forehead. Shaking her head a bit, she turned around, and then glomped Uki who had just barely managed to stand up fully.
"Haruki!
You came!
You didn't forget about me!
I didn't watch which way you went!
and then I got lost!
and then it started getting dark!
and then I got scared so I stayed here!"
Now locking necks with Haruki, Liliana whispered
"Thanks for coming to find me Uki.."
