A few months ago, rumors went around spreading as if old school gossip, people were dreaming... but not only that, when they woke, their dreams came true. Reports of those who were blind, those who were paralyzed, after being in the dream world, they came out being fully recovered. As more people heard about it, the more who wanted to fall asleep, desiring for what they heard to be true... Soon enough, they too started to get absorbed into the world of dreams. Already a fourth of the world's population inhabit this dream world, will you come to join them? Or will you even have a choice of not to? It seems that the more the rumors spread, the more people drift off into the dream world, without even thinking about it.

Is it such a bad thing though? To unify the world, to bring peace to nations, to let people dream? Well come in and find out where dreams may come. But be warned... there is always a price to pay. Those who linger in this world, may never want to leave. Do you dare wish to risk giving up your daily life, to live in a dream world of your own?

Setup

This is more of the outline of the setup. The main setup is located here. This is also where you can find how to create a profile, and where you can ask questions and everything else. I'll break down the main points here.

Dreamers: This world pulls everyone in sooner or later, as you drift off to sleep at night, you become a dreamer, a native to this land called Ethernia. It is the first place you start off at, always. Here, dreams become reality.

The deeper you immerse yourself into this world, the easier it is for you to fall asleep, meaning less time you are awake. If you get drawn into this world too much, it may even effect your job, school life as well. Be wary, this dream world has everything you need, so is it worth losing meaningless things?

Being in a dream you have the power to shape the world to your liking. If you're level 10 dreamer, you can even create your own fantasy world. Nifty huh? But be warned, the more you create things, the more prone you are to being exhausted. The same goes for using magic in this world.

As time goes by, there will be more and more worlds to explore, however, in order to reach some of the further lands, requires you to be more addicted to this reality, meaning your level will have to be higher. It might be worth gaining levels, for who knows, perhaps what you dream for may lay ahead, you might have to pull on the string to see where the thread of this world leads.

Plot So Far

July, 2007, dreamers started to notice something quite different in their dreams. Things that happened in them, started to become real. Some even went as far as handing out information, like their telephone number, and when awoke, they received a ring. Odd indeed, dreamers were connected in this world and it was theirs to master. Slowly over time, as the rumors grew, so did the amount of people who started to come here.

Those who came here before the rumors started are called the first generation. They are the elite among the elite, they already have the will to change the world to their own

Those who came here during the early rumors are called the second generation. These vary in level, and some have been taken under the wings by the first generation.

Everyone else who comes from here and on out, are the third generation. Some of the first and second may come to help you, and take you under their wings. But it is their own choice if they do so. And some of the first and second generation are the guardians of Ethernia, protecting it from those who have ill begotten deeds.
