Paradise had found another field to wander through, this one with patches of wildflowers flung throughout. The patch she currently lounged in camoflauged her well, much to her lunch's dismay. She'd finished that some time ago, however, and now she listened idly to the drone of insects and calls of hunting birds while she debated on what direction to take from here.

The smell of the flowers, along with the promise of bugs, had altered Ronan's path from that certain field. Besides, he was too aggitated to bother weaving through the maze of long grass and blooming flowers. His wrist was still sore, but nothing too prove fatal to his travelings. Just enough to burn from time to time, and make his normally cheery muzzle scowl. Casting a desaturated glance of his surroundings, the kitsu placed himself near the crest of a hill. He was in no rush, and too bored to bother exploring much further.

Ronan stood out on the hilltop against the backdrop of the sky the way she would have stood out in the desert. She watched him for a moment, noting the... less upbeat? posture of his body. Had something happened?
She stood and waded through the grass toward him, raising her blaringly orange tails up high in an attempt to signal her presence to hm before he wandered down from the hill where it would be difficult to see her even with the brightly colored flags she waved in her wake. "Ronan!"

Black tipped ears flipped back to the random voice. He had only seen one other out this far from realm. Peering past his thin hair, he spotted the young lady some distance away. What was she still doing way out here? Too much of an explorer, he supposed.
He sat back on his haunch, waiting on the other to reach the hill top. "Hey there Dice. What's up?" He couldn't think much else to say. What was there to talk about, cept how their little vacations were going.

Paradise trotted up to the hill and sat across from Ronan, tilting her head slightly. "Wondering a couple of things. Where to go next, and why you look like you ate something that didn't agree with you." Not that he looked like he was sick. But he definitely didn't look... well, quite himself.

Ronan chuckled lightly. "I guess you can call it that." He lifted his paw, flipping it to show the wrist side. With his other paw, he traced the ragged cut there, some area's healed faster than others. "Just more like I didn't agree to get eaten." All he could hope was that it wasn't infected. He shrugged his striped shoulders, glancing back to the other. "So, where do you plan to go next."

First her eyes widened, then her brows furrowed, and she leaned forward to sniff delicately at the wound. It didn't smell infected... but that could change. She looked up at his question, still frowning slightly. "I... hadn't really decided yet." Though at this point she was tempted to just go with him where ever it was he decided to go. At least until his leg was healed. Just because she was inclined toward being more solitary didn't mean she was blow off a friend when they were injured. But Ronan might not appreciate that, and she wasn't going to force her presence on him. At least... not at a noticable distance. "What did that?"

What she be sniffing for? Ronan moved to place the paw back to the ground, leaning it lightly on his other. "Well, no good being indecisive now, eh?" So was she just lounging around here doing nothing? Sounded fun. Ronan raised a brow, not much enjoying being a storyteller. "Just one of the ground treaders. I thought its hole was vacant, and stupidly walked by. Heh, some mistake that was." Thankfully, all it was was a n**, enough for him to pull away and dodge. He shook his head, chuckling aloud. "Just don;t walk around the darker lands, kay?"

She raised an eyebrow. "I'll keep that in mind." The darker lands? Would that be that area beside the desert she'd crossed? Apparently it had made her uneasy for a reason. Well... guess she'd still be avoiding it next time.
Finally she shook her head and stuck her tongue out at him. "If I could split into several of me I wouldn't have to be indecisive. As it stands there's only one of me and lots of directions I could go." She flicked an ear up, tilting her head curiously. "Unless you feel like having some company for a while."
After a moment she peered back down at his leg. "So... keep it clean, ok? It didn't smell infected... and I figure you'd like to keep it that way, right?"
She shrugged after that and peered down at the field. "Hey... what do you usually eat out here? I've been catching little critters, I'm a bit leery about randomly testing some of the plantlife." Enough stomach aches back in Realm had seen to that. >>

Good. So long as she was listening, and didn't brag of being capable of frolicing there. Like a kit may do. He rolled white eyes, smirking at her little description. "And that's why there is time. Plenty of time to go all directions." He blinked at her question though, raising a brow. After some thought, he shrugged. "Doesn't matter to me. That's for you to decide."
His paw clenched as it was being talked about, and he gave a simple nod. "Well duh, but yeah. I'll be sure to keep this fellow cleaned up." His gaze turned to the field too, watching the sunflowers wave back to him. "Eh, mice. Seafood. Not much of a plant eater myself."

Ah. Well, Paradise had always been a been more sensible than most kits, at least as far as exploring and such went. If she got a bad feeling she didn't bother putting on bravado. She just found somewhere at least relatively safe to hang out until she felt comfortable again. Seeing the sights wasn't worth getting eaten, after all.
"Hmm. Maybe I'll hang out with you for a while then." Not like it was a permanent thing if they wanted to go their separate ways later. Like he said... there was time to check everything out, together or separately.
She grinned a bit at his response to her last question. "Ah... not much for plants myself. I tried a few before but... yeah. Like I said, I'm leery about trying out the plantlife these days." She flicked an ear and then her tails thoughtfully. "Though... I haven't really had a lot of seafood. Seems like fish are rather leery of me." Heh...

Hmm, perhaps. Ronan wouldn't mind catching a good sight, if it had only a small risk factor. He simply grinned at her decision, not minding another to chat with. He had nothing planned anyways, except to roam back to realm onec again.
"Yeah. Plants can never fill my appetite." Salads were not a favorite meal of his, no matter how healthy. As to being leery, maybe that was a factor too. But most his life had been trained on meat meals anyway. "Oh, seafood is delicious. But I guess I'll have to skip those for sometime." He couldn't risk dipping his paw in salty waters. Besides, he already felt gruggy, not all up for much energy spending. Best hunt on mice for now.
